Anyone else not received the promo vouchers BT pro...

When I switched to BT in feb I did so because they were giving a £75 Dabs.com voucher for new customers who set up online. I went through the whole process with an online chat assistant who assured me I would receive the voucher 10-15 days after my 1st payment to BT. Its now June, noone will talk to me on the phone because I joined online and the chat assistants I have spoken to me are nothing short of rude and useless. I have copies of the original chat transcript which clearly shows they are in the wrong but they will not admit this - I dont think the latest assistant I have dealt with even understood english fully. I am really angry and will be leaving BT as soon as my contract is up as I am disgusted with their customer service.

    I haven't received a single email in the last 48 hrs, which is really unusual considering all the spam we get.  Is anyone else having this problem?  I know it isn't a connection problem, I'm able to pull up my account on a different computer and still no results.  

    What happens if you send a test email to yourself? Does it send? Do you receive it? Is the problem happening with their Xfinity Connect webmail, an email program, or an app on a mobile device?
    Check your "Email Safe List" setting under Users & Preferences / (username) / Email Settings at https://customer.xfinity.com/Secure/UserSettings. This option sometimes gets turned on when it should be off. If you can't find the "Email Safe List" setting you'll need to log in with the Primary user ID.

    It is April 7 2013 and I have yet to receive 4.2.2 for my Galaxy Nexus. I called Verizon and they said that it has not been released to my device group yet.So I am just curious if I am the only one that did not receive 4.2.2 yet.

    The frameworks trick has made it so that the play store won't let me
    download anything. To remedy this I had to delete my google account from my
    phone and reinstall it. Then clear the play store cache and download an app
    from the play store. It also made the play store not recognize that iI had
    a nexus.

  • Has anyone else still not received the Jelly Bean update?

    Or am I the only one?  I activated my phone on 12/30/12 and still have not received Android 4.1.1 as of 2/4/13!  I know VZW is rolling out Jelly Bean over time, but this is ridiculous!  I went to the Verizon store the other day, but they were of little help and told me to call Samsung!!!  I routinely check the "software update" section on my phone, only to receive a "no update available" message.  My phone is stock, but is one of the "developer edition" phones directly from Samsung that runs baseband version I535OYLG1.  Still, I don't think that should make a difference, given that I have a Verizon activated SIM card and have not done anything to the phone (apologies to the moderator for previously mentioning terms banned by Verizon TOS... terms have since been removed from this post).  The only thing that's different from the phones sold directly through Verizon (supposedly) is the unlocked bootloader.  If anyone else is having the same, or a similar, experience, I'd appreciate any advice... or at the very least, just respond to this message so that we can complain together

    Without proper system information nobody can tell you anything. there could be any number of reasons why the download gets corrupted from virus scanners accessing the files and damaging them to your harddrive being damaged or fragmented to a bad network connection already corrupting it... Check al lthat stuff, turn off the pertinent components, clean up your drive.

    Check your junk or spam mail folder.  Also, if you established a rescue email, it could be going to that email address.  If all else fails:

    Basically I have an iphone 4 and upgraded to v7 and most recently v7.0.2. When I am on calls the phone started to beep and vibrate and sometimes change the call to speaker. It seems to be that the screen is sometimes active whilst on calls and so my ear is actually pressing the buttons and hitting numbers or changing it to speaker phone. It has also cancelled a call a few times.
    This is extremely annoying and makes every call a worry.
    Any ideas of how to solve this problem?

    I have taken it back to the Apple store genius bar, but they say they don't see anything wrong. Well unless you use it all day and experience the problems when they happen, you wont see anything wrong. But there are lots wrong with it. But this would be the same store as I purchased the phone. And they backed up my old Iphone 4, but were not able to get anything to load back onto my new phone. So, I lost pretty much everything. But over time, some of my contacts have started showing up, although i am still missing over 800 of them.

    I am not receiving the verification email when trying to add an email account to facetime and iMessage. Is there something else I can do?

    I don't ever remember getting an email when Adding an account.
    Apple seems to verify it some other way (a self test to see if it is valid ? an actual email ?)
    I tried adding an older @mac.com account that is not a valid email (gained when MobileMe was the Apple service and the @Mac.com registration was used for iChat names).
    I then tried  to add a Yahoo one.
    This got past the first part and said an email has been sent.
    As you say this has never arrived.
    ( checked the web Site for Yahoo Mail as well as my Mail App.)
    In each case I also checked the Spam and Junk folders in both places.
    I then tried an iCloud ID.
    (FaceTime seems to treat the Original Apple ID and the iCloud issued email as separate IDs)
    I did not get and email (Although it said it was sent) I did get a Pop up for the FaceTime app asking if I wanted to add an email and a second for the actual email itself.  (It turned out it added an @me.com email also issued by iCloud before the @icloud.com was issued.
    This is much the way iMessages adds emails when you add the emails to  an iPhone, the Mac version gets pop ups.
    I recently had something similar in Messages that might be related.
    In Messages 7 (Mountain Lion) it seemed it could be any Apple ID that was used.
    In Messages 8 it seems this has to be an iCloud linked one.
    The @mac.com one I used above could not be added to iMessages either when I tried it about two months ago.
    It might be one I have removed the creating/Recovery email so that i could create another Apple ID.
    The name continues to work in Messages as an AIM valid screen name but I could not add it as the iMessages account and got sent to iCloud to "register" it but ran into problems that I have not sorted out yet.
    EDIT.
    Checked the Apple ID site and the @mac.com email I used has no linked Alternative/recovery email.

    Why am I not receiving the email to reset my apple id password?

    Has anyone received an answer to this? It seems that a lot of us are having the same issue. In the past i had no trouble receiving emails to reset my password but for the past week I havne't been able to login, my security questions didn't work and I haven't received any of the emails to reset my password. I've created a new Account but would rather  get into my old account because it's linked to my perfered email address. Hum..
    Any help from the community would be much apprecated! thanks!

    I'm trying to create a persona account for: (Email removed by mod) but when I try to sign up after I've entered my e-mail and new password, I do not receive my confirmation e-mail (after repeated attempts).

    The original url you gave me was: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/persona/ which is in the first screenshot I provided. If I am in the totally wrong place, it is because that is where I was recommended to go.
    I cannot login with my email and password, for as I stated in the beginning, I'm not receiving the confirmation email message that validates my email address in order to create a Persona account.

    Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account and request another email.

  • I can reset my security questions.  I have checked my email and but am not receiving the email to reset.  Its not in spam.

    The easiest thing to do is to contact Apple for assistance by going to https://expresslane.apple.com, then click More Products and Services>Apple ID>Other Apple ID Topics>Forgotten Apple ID security questions.
