Anyone have a web gallery published by Aperture 2 show up in Iweb menu?

Iphoto galleries seem to be work as they should, but I can not get an Aperture 2 gallery to appear in the iweb insert menu.
Wondering if it's just me.

Shoot me down in flames if I am not understanding you, but here is my experience of AP2 and iWeb. Before I publish a web gallery I make sure to select all my target pictures and update the previews. Next I publish the gallery and check it's working. When I open iWeb and click on the media inspector I can see the web gallery when I navigate down through my Aperture entries. Now, this is where we may part company, but like you I cannot see any reference to the gallery in the Insert menu - but all I did was click on the gallery in the media inspector and drag it onto an iWeb page. At this point I got the option to choose a theme for the page and iWeb built it for me using my gallery.
Is this helpful to you guys, or am I so far off the mark it's untrue

Ipod touch, web gallery, movies panel does not show in safari

i have some movies in my web gallery published from imovie08.
ipod touch safari will not display the movies panel of my web gallery, only the pictures panel.
however, i have a movie embedded in one of my picture albums which will play. so i know that it will
show movies.
anyone know why the movies panel does not show?

To get pass the passcode lockscreen, recovery mode and restoring should help: iPhone and iPod touch: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen
If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup). If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present. Refer to Updating and restoring iPhone, iPad and iPod touch software.
If the issue continues after updating and restoring your device, refer to this document.

Web Gallery created in Aperture not listed

I created three new web galleries using Aperture 2 and they are not showing up when I try to add them to my iweb page. When I log on to my .mac account they are only visible when I choose my gallery. They are not listed out with the ones I created in iPhoto. What am I doing wrong?

I've asked this question ever since the option was offered.
Know of no one that has had it work and have never seen an answer.
Sent feedback to Apple. No reply.
Called tech support. They had no idea.
You see the file on the Idisk, but they are not recognized by Iweb.
Would love to know the answer.

Does anyone have any experience of using an Aperture library on a Drobo or Promise Pegasus? If so any problems or tips?

My intention is to place my Aperture library a Thunderbolt Raid device and access via my Macbook Pro SSD Retina. The thinking is that I would have the capability of having a large library and wouldn't run out of space for some time - I understand that the library would also need to be backed up.
If anyone could share their experience positive or negative I'd be very grateful.

I have Aperture installed on a three month old Drobo 5D ( containing five WD 3 TB RED NAS hard drives) attached via Thunderbolt to my Macbook Pro with Retina Display, and Aperture is beautifully responsive with this setup. I do have a 60 GB mSATA card installed in the Drobo 5D, but I find it makes a real difference only when you are trying to acess a lot of small files, e.g. Aperture thumbnails. The Drobo 5D and Aperture make a good combination.
With a folder containning a mix of large and small size files, I find that it often looks like it is going to take a long time to copy the files with the Drobo 5D, and then after a short period of time the Drobo 5D really takes off and copies files at a very high rate of speed. In other words, don't form too hasty an opinion of how fast a group of files is going to be copied. Also, measured speeds with the Drobo 5D are not as impressive as you might expect, but the real-world performance is quite remarkable and fully in line with my expectations.

I have been unable to publish my website due to this message "iweb quit unexpectedly - the problem may have been caused by FTP plug-in" - Iweb seems to register all pages, then crashes before publishing.Tried quite few thread trouble shoots, no luck.Help?

Have just started using iweb and have small site of about 5 pages, plus blog. I have yet been able to publish, each time I try iweb crashes and receive following note -
The application iweb quite unexpectedly. The problem may have been caused by the FTPKit Plug-in.
I have tried a few troubleshooting methods recomended on other threads, ie. deleting caches, copying domain and reboots... but no luck.
Any help very much appreciated.

Reinstall iWeb from the source you got it from originallhy. Or, if you're running iWeb 3 download and apply or reapply the iWeb 3.0.4 updater. It included that plugin.

In Web Gallery HTML, how can I show Slide Titles?

I am trying to use the HTML Gallery module within Bridge to create a photo archive. In all respects the appearance of this module is perfect for what i want to do, however it does not display the slide title. Some of the other modules do display the slide title but their layout is not what I want. I looked at modifying a copy of the .xml style docs within the CS4 Extensions library but stopped when it became apparent I was not merely modifying an existing instruction but trying to add a new one. If anyone knows how this can be done I'd appreciate hearing how.
A related question... Is there a way, within this same module, to modify the "large" image result. When Bridge creates its large images it reduces the size appreciably. In one case by more than 50%. I want viewers to be able to download the original, not a reduced copy. Currently I am using the Photoshop Gallery plugin which handles both of these issues. However the appearance of the slide display is not equal to what Bridge produces.

I am having a problem with this update where the code window is blank and where I cannot add anything/ The text does appears in the design or live window.
I just use DW to format text that will go into Edge Animate.

Does anyone have any ideas how to fix the rendering problem on dialogue boxes, menu and address bars in the Beta?

I am getting bizarre zigzag lines, bolded items on the vertical part of letters on the Menu bar and Address bar, and any edge of a dialogue box or input frame gets the odd zigzag lines on both sides.

Your battery experience is unusual. While I don't use my phone a lot it is on 24/7. The mists I've seen my battery run down is to abut 45% after 10 hours offi the charger.
Here's how to reset (reboot) your phone. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart.
If that is what you did I suggest making an appointment at and Apple store for a consultation.

Why is aperture not showing up in iweb?

why when I go to iweb, can I not see aperture in the media sidebar anymore, only iphoto?

Well, after posting that, I decided to try deleting another app that was on the list and then Dropbox suddenly reappeared. I've seen others say that Open In is limited to 10 apps (which seems lame to me).
The strange thing is on my iPad, I only have 9 apps listed, but my iPhone allows 10. Anyone know why this would be or have a similar issue? Is there a way to make certain apps default to the Open In... list?

Web gallery questions for 3.0

I can't figure out how to upload a gallery to my web site. I hit the upload button, I have my password and username in there. I'm not sure, but I think to get it to the right place on my gallery, I have to do the custom settings, and put it in a sub folder.
Prior to this, I've been putting my galleries up on my site with Dreamweaver CS, where I have a page called "My Pictures". People can scroll through there, find their event, click on it, and see the photos. For me to achieve that, I put the gallery into a web on my computer, in a folder called "galleries". Then I would use Dreamweaver CS with the "My Pictures.htm" page, to post the event name, then drag the target to the proper gallery,
So it only stood to reason, that within Lightroom, I would put my web site's address, without the www. in front of it, as I would in Dreamweaver, followed by /www/folder.
No matter what I do, or variation I've tried, even without all that, and trying to load the gallery to simply my web site, it keeps coming up with "An error occured sending the file. Access was denied". I know the web has plenty of space available, so that's not the problem. Any suggestions? I'm using the proper name and password.
The 2nd problem, is that I can't even save the gallery, to the folder on my computer! This is a back up, in case I can't upload the gallery via Lightroom. I tried to use "export", the tab next to "upload", and it won't do a thing. I aim it to the right folder and hit save, but nothing happens. If I go to the drop down list under "File" on the top left of the screen and hit export, it will simply save the photos to my web in full 8x10 images, but it won't save it as a functional web gallery, with web sized photos and thumbnails. Only as photos, that's it. If I can save it to the web on my computer, as a web gallery, then I can upload it using Dreamweaver CS.
What is going on???? Why won't anything work???

Anthony, I was excited to see this simple answer. But I cannot find the icon with the "T" in it to which you refer. I have a web gallery published. I would love to show caption and keywords. But I can't seem to do that. And on the gallery page, once you click on an image, and then Info, then you get to see the caption along with all the iptc info which I don't need to show.
Just above my viewer window in aperture are only the standard icons like inspector, import, new, email, view, full screen, etc. I can see the web gallery settings but there doesn't seem to be this kind of control in there.

Aperture to .Mac Web Gallery Help please. Urgent !!

Hi, I having been going round in circles trying to figure this out -
Q1) I cannot find a way to update to my published .Mac web gallery from Aperture(2.1)
When I select the versions that I want to add to the gallery I drag them into the Web
Gallery album in the projects inspector and synchronize the gallery to update, but
only the Master images are added to the published web gallery, not the versions !?
Q2) Also, when I originally created the Web Gallery album Aperture imported my entire
project (All masters, complete stacks, vers etc) but somehow only published the versions
I had selected for publishing to a .Mac Web Gallery. Why has aperture included the Masters,
complete stacks etc in the Web Gallery album ?
If someone could help with this, particularly Q1, it would be much appreciated as I have
a client waiting to see more versions which I cannot manage to add to the existing
published Web Gallery for that client.

I have tried everything, but same result - Aperture only publishes the unedited Master, not the version with Adjustments. When I originally published images to the .Mac web gallery I disabled all downloads, as the gallery is intended for client review & selection only.
Some further questions if you don't mind.. Am I doing the right thing in dragging versions from the project to the Web Gallery album (in projects inspector)? When I do that I see that Aperture copies both the Master & version to the web gallery album (they are both visible in the web gallery album) The problem is that only the Master is published to the .Mac web gallery (which i don't want), and not the edited Version(which I do want) This worked ok the first time around when I created the web gallery album and published it to .Mac galleries, however I did notice that the web gallery album in Aperture contains the entire contents of the project (Masters, complete stacks & versions etc)
The Aperture manual is very vague on adding new images to a web gallery album and publishing them to an existing >mac Web gallery. It says that this can be done, but not how to do so. I may be missing something simple and obvious, but the Aperture user manual is really not sufficient in this area. Any further ideas or suggestions would be welcome. Thx again.

Aperture 2.1 only loads 100 images per album to web gallery

The web gallery project on Aperture contains 199 images but only the first 100 loaded. What gives? I've loaded albums before from iPhoto and didn't seem to have this problem, or if I did I never noticed it.

Aperture 2.1.4 is unsupported on OS X Mavericks and there are known issues that have been reported here.
I think you can roll back to an older OS X version (Snow Leopard?) or pay the $79.00 to upgrade to Aperture 3.5.1.

Aperture Web Gallery Uploaded to .Mac Site, can't find

Well, I uploaded my web gallery that I made in Aperture by clicking on the upload to web gallery button in aperture. It loaded them to .Mac but it's not like iPhoto 08 where you can easily find the gallery and email it to friends or change anything. It just dumps them online, and gives a url, but it doesn't link to your .Mac page under web gallery and so if you don't copy and paste the url that aperture gives you after you upload, then your screwed. I know the url, but my question is:
How do I put up a web gallery like they do in iPhoto 08, where I can just click a button and email the gallery, or email it, change the page, and all that neat stuff that Steve Jobs did in his speech? Do I have to get iPhoto in order to do all of that?

Yes, it's an iPhoto '08 feature that they were demo'ing, not an Aperture feature.

Web gallery album is still there after deleting it in Aperture 2.1

I deleted a web gallery album in Aperture because I had Stacks turned on and not all images loaded, but the album is still on the web gallery site and I can't figure out how to delete it from there. Any help?

In the Finder Choose: Go>>idisk>my idisk
navigate to the _gallery folder inside the Sites folder then trash the gallery that you wish to delete.
