Anyone know how to cancel purchased downloads?

So I have all these downloads - huge files - that I don't want anymore/ don't want to download... Can I get rid of them permanently without downloading 1st? I keep having to "pause" them every few minutes whenever I'm in iTunes...

try this:
send an email to the iTS customer service using this form and ask the folks there to remove the item(s) from your download queue.

I am trying to "upgrade" an old ibook g3 (800MHz)
I have managed to get it up to OS 10.2.8 with automatic updates, but I would like to install OSX 10.4 Tiger (The most advanced compatible os for this ibook), But I have not managed to find anywhere on www.apple.com where i can purchase a copy?
Is there anywhere I can buy the original installation dvd, or download a version?

Also, Tiger usually came on a DVD. Some 800 MHz iBooks have just a CD-ROM drive, so you need to keep that in mind and determine whether you can use the DVD version.

Sometimes you have to be a bit "forceful" with your drag, especially if the Dock is at the bottom--almost as if you are dragging the folder thru the Dock and off the bottom edge of the monitor.

Well, it says i have 5g of free storage... but what good is it? There doesn't seem to be any way to put anything there.

iCloud does not have a general file syncing service, like Dropbox or Sugarsync. Only certain types of files can be synced and only by applications/apps that specifically support these files and that support iCloud. For example, Pages can sync to iCloud and only Pages apps on devices can access these files. Within DocsToGo, nothing can be synced to iCloud.

Ever since then I've had these exclamation marks and now these tunes are not transferrable and I've lost them in my music file on the ipod nano and so cannot reload them again. Anyone know how to remove the !!!'s or clean my files?

You get exclamation marks or dead tracks because iTunes can’t find the file. This can happen for a number of reasons:
The song file or a folder in its path was renamed
The song file or the folder it is in has been moved
The song file has been deleted
The device containing the song files e.g. external drive is not accessible or the drive letter has changed..
Usually the actual music files are still there, so you need to check to see if you can find them.
If they are there, open iTunes and select a problem track, right click and select Get Info.
Answer NO when asked if you want to locate the track.
Now you should see where iTunes thinks the tack is located on the summary tab, how does this compare with where the track actually is.
This info should help work out what has gone wrong.

No, it stays with the current OS (iOS5 in this case) - Apple doesn't allow downgrading iOS
If you are syncing to a desktop, you shoudln't lose anything. If you aren't syncing, then that's the first thing you should do, to protect contacts etc.
the other thing is, when the iPad is connected to iTunes, right-click its name in the Devices list and choose Back Up.
That way, when yoiu do the restore, everything should come back as was.

actually nevermind, it's working now. I closed iTunes, then waited a little, then double clicked one of my iTunes video files from my documents, which opened up iTunes again and the video started playing. I tried restarting iTunes before and that didn't work, so maybe for those who have similar problems, just try clicking on the video file in your documents/desktop of your computer, rather than directly from iTunes.

Error getting license. License server communication problem E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY_OR_PKCS12. Does anyone know how to fix this? I have contacted the company that I purchased the download from, and they say it is an Adobe Digital Editions problem.

HT1688 does anyone know how to transfer the existing music from my itunes account that i had with an ipod to my iphone? I had my last download on my laptop which crashed and now we have a new computer. I had to download a new version of itunes.

I had my itunes account on my laptop which has since crashed. I had to buy a new computer and iinstall the new version of itunes. It did not pull up any of my information with music library, etc. Does anyone know how to transfer existing music from my itunes account for my ipod to my iphone?

Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was designed for you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself properly backed up against loss. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchased content.

Does anyone know how many times a newly purchased product (MB Air 2014) can be exchanged within the 14 day period? I feel like the MB Pro would be a better fit for me, so I wanted to exchange my Air for the Pro. But also, if I end up not liking the Pro and want to go back to an Air, would I be permitted to do so with another exchange? (all still within the 14 day window after purchase of course).
Also, are there any specifics I need to know in order to return my product and get a new one? Obvioulsy, I would be sure to remove all of my personal files, music, etc...but is there anything else I need to do?
And lastly, and im sure this question is irritating to you Mac wiz kids out there, but are the two models im comparing really all that different? I just cant make up my mind and would love some pointers/suggestions/tips/info to help me figure out what model is best for me (the apple employee that was helping me in the store was actually not that helpful at all, if they were I wouldnt have to ask this question on a discussion board). I do tons of multimedia things and download and enjoy music, tv shows, movies, all that stuff..and I used to love to burn dvds and cds (obviously cant do that with the MB Air now which totally bummed me out ). Just play with each and figure out which one you want. I believe they only allow 1 exchange unless it is a defect issue. You can always return the exchanged item and rebuy what you want if they will not allow you to do multiple exchanges.
But again, you need to really figure out which one you want.
