Anyone managed to get ipad mini working with vga projector with apple adaptor?

I had arude shock the last week when i could no longer project anything from my ipad mini using an Apple branded vga to lightning adaptor. Help me im a teacher and desperately need to work asap.

Just to clarfy i recently updated to ios 8 and i cant downgrade as some of the apps i needed cant work. This isnt good enough. Please find a solution anyone?

I have a customer who has recently upgraded to CUCM 8.6.2.22900-9 and Presence 8.6.4.11900-1 fom CUCM 6.x and Presence 6.x. When they were at 6.x they were able to integrate CUPC contact search with Domino server. I realize this was not supported, but they got it to work. Now they want to attempt to get Jabber to work with Domino. Again I realize that is not a supported LDAP for Jabber, but I was wondering if anyone has perhaps tried this and what their experience was.

I've tried everything and I can't get iCloud to work with Thunderbird.

The problem was the two-step verification process with iCloud. Basically, if you want to use Thunderbird and iCloud together you have to generate an app specific password when you log into the Apple ID website. Here's a link that has the instructions. If the App connects to the receiver for anything, the Mini will have no issue. Operationally iPads are all the same. They all do the same thing, and as such any App on one will work exactly the same on another iPad that supports the same App.

Hi all I'm having great difficulty getting ColdFusion10 to work under Apache with OS X 10.10 Yosemite.
Here is a description of what I've faced and a little of what I've done to solve my problem
Problem 1
Apache httpd.conf file gets messed up
Solution: copy original httpd.conf file from /etc/apache2/original/ to /etc/apache2/
Problem 2
No Java Virtual Machine is installed!
Solution: install Java (version 6 or 7 is better) you may only be able to install version 8
Problem 3
ColdFusion doesn't know where your Java installation is so find and update your ColdFusion configuration files
/Applications/ColdFusion10/cfusion/bin/jvm.config
/Applications/ColdFusion10/cfusion/bin/coldfusion
/Applications/ColdFusion10/cfusion/runtime/bin/wsconfig_jvm.config
change the source to whatever your current Java is and where it's located
for example if you have version 7 installed:

It's a .pkg installer for OS X, I used it several times to install software that Apple's Installer can't install. After installing Xsan 1.0 from your CD, just launch Apple's software update to upgrade to version 1.3. I think it should work (I didn't try it with Xsan, but this procedure works with other software).

Can't register my iPad mini Retina with Apple Support

When I try to register my iPad mini with the Apple Support in my profile page, it says that my serial number is already registered to another Apple ID, and to check to see if I've got any other IDs. I ordered this directly from Apple when it was released, and it had never been opened. I contacted Apple, and their records show that it's registered to me. But I'd like to register it online so I can submit questions and any maintenance requests, which I can't do because I can't register it. Has anyone else had this problem?

I tried. They said their records showed that the iPad was registered to my Apple ID. They had no explanation why my serial number couldn't be registered. Felt I was getting the run around so I thought I'd toss it out to the community.

Get Airtunes to work with Apple TV and Mountain Lion

I know there are tons of people complaining that the new Airplay Mirroring doesn't work with their later than mid 2011 Mac running Mountain Lion. My complaint is I just want to be able to use my apple TV with my Itunes library. After my upgrade my apple TV2 can't find my Itunes library. I don't care about the mirroring feature, that's why I bought an AppleTV, but without access to the library I can't play anything. Is there any way to get just Airtunes to work? Are there any setup tricks I could do to make it work? On the ipad and the iphone I see the option to pair my devices with a 4 digit code in itunes but the apple TV only works through my Apple ID. this seems to make my ipad and iphone not work.
I have a 2010 iMac and a AppleTV2. I just want to be able to browse my library on my itunes. Sometimes it will work for short period of time after several resets on both machines but it never lasts.

I have just finished working on a mailer which I was hoping would work when viewed in an email client. However it doesnt seem to want to load. It works fine when viewing in a web browser. Anyone know if this is achievable or should I just stop trying.

Before I suggest you any troubleshooting steps, I would like to ask few questions. Like – in what manner you were trying to connect Airport Express with the Linksys/Cisco router E1200?
Basically, you can think of Airport Express as a wireless extension cord for replacing an Ethernet cable, a USB cable, and an audio speaker cable. So, it suppose to work wirelessly with the router. So, in this case you have to use the Linksys/ Cisco router E1200 as a Base Station, with the Apple AirPort as the repeater/secondary access point. (The protocol for this is called WDS. Apple's routers support it; the Linksys does as well.
Here are the steps to configure;
Configure your Linksys router (open a web browser to http://192.168.1.1):
Assign a wireless channel. You will have to set the same channel on the Airport Express.
Write down the MAC address for the wireless interface (under the Status tab).
Provide the security level which can match with the Apple Airport.
Configure your Airport Express (using Airport Utility):
Under Airport -> Wireless, set the Wireless Mode to "Participate in a WDS Network", and set the network name, security, password, and channel to match that on the E1200.
Now you'll have a new tab: under WDS, set the WDS Mode to "WDS remote” and the WDS Main to the MAC address you wrote down above. Also make sure to that "Allow wireless clients" is checked!
Under the Internet tab, set Connection Sharing to "Off (Bridge Mode)".
Click Update. Wait for the Airport Express to restart.
Check it:
Once the Airport Express is restarted, reconnect to your wireless network (if you've been disconnected). Make sure you can see both your main Linksys router (in a web browser) and the Airport Express (in Airport Utility). If you can only see one, it didn't work. Try disabling security on both.

AirPlay Mirroring is supported on your Mac, but it needs OS X Mountain Lion (10.8). See > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5404
You have two possibilities:
1. Make a backup, open App Store and purchase Mountain Lion to upgrade to this OS X. Then, you will find the AirPlay Mirroring icon at the top right of the display, on the menu bar, or on System Preferences > Displays.
2. Keep OS X Lion and use AirParrot > http://www.airparrot.com
Both options work properly, but I recommend AirPlay Mirroring as it doesn't need a third-party program
