Aperture 3.1: Adding watermark by uploading pictures to Mobile Me gallery.

Hi,
In the "Image Export" presets there is an option to ad a watermarkt on the picture.
Is there any way to add a watermark when uploading pictures to the Mobile Me Gallery, using the Mobile me button??
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Jos

Apple did seem to drop the ball on this one. There is no way from within Aperture to add a watermark to an image set to Facebook, Flickr or MobileMe. This is a highly requested feature so add add your voice to the crowd requesting this by going to [Apple Aperture Feedback|http://www.apple.com/feedback/aperture.html]

    Thanks a lot.

Well here is what I know from my wife playing with this for most of today.
You CAN upload photos from your PC to the Mobile Me:
    1) Click on the Flower Icon
    2) Click on the + in the lower left and create an album and name it.
    3) Click on the album you just created on the left hand navigation.
    4) Click the little up arrow button in the buttons top center.
    5) Click the choose button, and then find your photo, and you can put it there.
Now, here is the LAME part.
Lets say you want to get a picture you took ON your iPhone, and get it to an album ON your iPhone.
You have to take the picture, send to Mobile Me, download to folder you synch with iTunes, and then synch iTunes.
I can't believe you have to go through all of that just to get a picture you take on the iPhone into an album on the iPhone.
    LOL..
At any rate, I hope this helps you get pictures to your MM from your PC.

    Help would be great

Yes they are. Write to Apple - makes them useless for anyone that does not have a color managed browser/color managed system. I have complained about this since day one of .mac galleries in Aperture 2.

  • Can't upload photos to mobile me gallery

The first one went through ok, now after several minutes I get a message that says it could not be uploaded, no reason or error code.
I also can't seem to log in to mobile me, I just keep getting the same page wanting me to set it up, which is already done. What am I missing here?

    HI and welcome..
I also can't seem to log in to mobile me
Tap Settings / Safari. Clear the Cache, Cookies and History. Restart your iPad. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPad. To turn iPad back on, press and hold the Sleep/Wake until the Apple logo appears.
Now try logging in to MobileMe on your iPad then try uploading photos.
If you can login to MMe but not upload photos, follow the instructions here for deleting the cache.
iTunes: Photo sync creates iPod Photo Cache folder
If you would take a moment and click *My Settings* on the right side of this page and tell us which computer model you use and which operating system. Thanks!

  • Aperture keeps quitting while uploading pictures...

Everytime I try to upload pictures into aperture whether theyre from my computer or a memory card aperture quits unexpectedly. It's been doing this for quite some time and I'm a bit fed up now. Any advice how to fix it? Thanks!

I'm using version 2.1.2 of aperture and here's my computer's info(I'm assuming that's what you want):
    Model Name: MacBook Pro
    Model Identifier: MacBookPro4,1
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
    Processor Speed: 2.6 GHz
    Number Of Processors: 1
    Total Number Of Cores: 2
    L2 Cache: 6 MB
    Memory: 4 GB
    Bus Speed: 800 MHz
    Boot ROM Version: MBP41.00C1.B00
    SMC Version: 1.28f1
and what d'you mean by "Any special reason that you are using an old flaky OS version?" if you said it because it said my OS was 10.5.3, that wasn't updated. I didn't realize it was wrong, so my OS is actually 10.5.6. Sorry about the confusion.
    Thanks for the help!

  • Using Applescript for uploading pictures on the Internet

    Hello!
I was wondering if there was a way to use Applescript with Firefox (or another browser)...?
We have many many villas on our website, each one with lots of pictures. We are constantly adding new villas to our site and amending old ones.
To add pictures we go to a page in our cms for each villa, located there is a drop down menu - image 1, image 2, 3 etc etc etc
For each one we have to manually browse for and attach the photo. As you can guess this is a time consuming process, we have asked the web designer before for this but he is so busy and we have other more important stuff for him to be working on.
As Applescript is so nifty I was wondering if anybody had an idea on how to use it for this process - i.e. have a folder full of pictures on the desktop and Applescript can add them?
I have no idea if this is possible, any ideas?
    Many thanks and regards.
    Simon

Yeah I completely understand, I just wanted to see if anybody knew if it could be done.
Obviously for security reasons I can't let anybody into our CMS, so looks like it's a bit of an impossible task.
Although it would be awesome to simply change the script slightly for each villa and let it do it all, this would be stupidly complicated as there are many menus to navigate to get to the uploading picture area.
It would be great if I could do all that manually then once on that page (or given the page url to Applescript) set Applescript running to upload all the images for me.
This is what that page looks like, if this helps?!:
    http://img535.imageshack.us/img535/241/screenshot20100415at141.png
    The drop down menu contains:
    Villa Plan
    Small Location Map
    Image Gallery 1
    Image Gallery 2
    etc
    etc
I could arrange a folder with the pictures in order (i.e. Villa Plan first, then Small location Map, then the picture for 1 etc) so no worries about the Villa Plan and location map.
I've got a feeling I'm just going to have to do it manually (I shall forever be uploading pictures), but I thought I would give it to some of you geniuses to mull over!
For whoever creates a script I'll give you a discounted stay in Paradise... there's an incentive!!
    Many thanks and regards,
    Simon

  • I would like to see the added keywords under the picture like iPhoto does it. Is that possible? I cannot find an answer

I would like to see the added keywords under the picture like iPhoto does it. Is that possible? I cannot find an answer in Aperture 3.2.1

Hello Wontolla, I meant the Aperture main menu, there is a sub menu "View", see the Screenshot:
Set all flags in the Metadata Display submenu as I did,  to show Metadata in Viewer and Browser, and then select "Customize"
Pick the Metadata fields you want to display for all views.
Make sure, that "Contents -> Keywords" is checked.

  • Can other people upload pictures to my iweb site and other people comment or rate them? if so how?

can other people upload pictures to my iweb site and other people comment or rate them? if so how?

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. If you use a MobileGallery from iPhoto to house your photos and videos you can set it up in the settings so visitors can upload items to the gallery via email.
You can them embed the gallery in an iWeb page like this: MobileMe Galleries and Quicktime Movies.
I've not tried emailing a photo to a gallery so can't comment on how well it works.
For photo pages or album pages in iWeb visitors can add comments and attachments, photos, which other visitors can view. How they are added I don't know. Here's what the iWeb Help says about that:
    +*About visitor comments and attachments*+
+If you publish your site to MobileMe, you can let visitors add comments and attach files (which other visitors can download) to blog, podcast, and photos pages. These comments and attachments are visible to anyone who visits your website. To prevent automated programs from posting spam to your site, anyone who posts a comment is first required to type a displayed group of characters.+
+Comments appear as soon as they’re posted, and you can delete a comment and its attachment at any time using iWeb or by visiting your site with any browser. You can also turn off comments to prevent new postings without affecting the comments already posted.+
+Comments and attachments are stored on your iDisk. Each comment can be a maximum of 32 kilobytes (KB), and each attachment can be up to 5 megabytes (MB).+
+IMPORTANT:Before posting anything to your website, make sure you own the copyright and other rights to what you or others are posting, or that you obtained all necessary permissions.+

I also tried to push delete file and disconnet, then upload again, but nothing.I also tried to upload different picture files in jpeg files, but nothing! I like perfection, so for me is a trouble! Please give me solution if you can, thank you for your attention.

    Hello GiorgioKR,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums!
It would appear to me that even though it is still on the ePrint site, adding a picture is not available anymore. HP is eliminating the ePrintCenter site and moving to HPConnected, in doing that some features may have been removed.
I have just tried to upload a picture and I was unable to as well, so it is not just you that can not upload a picture.

  • Uploading pictures to my iPhone4

I recently got my first smartphone, the iPhone 4. I'm having problems uploading pictures from my PC to the phone. I can upload no problem from one folder but when I try uploading different pictures from another folder things go haywire. The folder on the phone splits up the original folder and never uploads the new pics from the new folder. When I delete the original pictures from the phone the new pics upload fine, but then I have the same problem all over again adding another set of pictures. This is all very confusing.

here you go http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083  copying photos from pc to iphone.

  • I uploaded pictures from a second camera and my iphoto created a second library, how do i get back to the first library?

I uploaded pictures from a second camera and my iphoto created a second library, how do i get back to the first library? Can anyone help?

I have no idea what you did or what happened - but I can assure you that loading from a different camera does not create a new library
So you need to supply information and someone here will assist you in sorting this out and figuring out what you really did
What version of iPhoto do you have? What version of the OS? Why do you think that a second library has been created? What do you see when you launch iPhoto with the optipon kep depressed and use the select library option? Where is your iPhoto library normally?
Anything else you can tell us that might help?
