App Builder won't install - have tried all recommended fixes but still fails
Hi all,
I have read the similar issues others have had installing app builder and tried the suggested fixes, but am still having trouble installing.
I have downloaded the latest version of App Builder (32.4 I believe), and am running Mac OS X 10.7.5. When I try to install i get the error "Sorry, an error has occurred. The application could not be installed because the installer file is damaged. Try obtaining a new installer from the application author."
Just out of interest, I tried installing the same file on another Mac (running OS X 10.10.2) and installed without issue. So the installer file would appear to be fine.
According to the system requirements, my 10.7.5 system should support the install, so I am not sure what else to try.

I have tried all the fixes but thunderbird freezes on start up
I think i received an email last week with no subject, since then thunderbird freezes on start up. I have tried safe mode, removed global and removed all .msf's. My thunderbird runs mutliple acc's, pop and imap.

P.s. If I un-install thunderbird and then re-install will I loose all my accounts ?Try to start *Windows* in safe mode with networking enabled.

Firefox tries to open but all that comes up is the Mozilla Crash Reporter and can't open past this point.
Do a clean (re)install:
* Download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
* Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
* Don't remove personal data if you uninstall the current version.
* It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.

someone lease help me with this. for the past two days i have been hitting my head for this !!
Glad they finally added a "Home Videos" tag, but wish that it was a compeltely separate category like Music, Movies, TV Shows. Still have all my home videos tagged as a "TV Show" with track numbers to keep them in order, disc number x of 12 to indicate the month, and season used to indicate the year. Has worked nicely for years but every new version of iTunes I hope (and have suggested) that they will separate this out.
A real way to maintain home movie metadata and organization would be much appreciated. Giving Home Videos as a tab within Movies is a start, but doesn't recognize the fact that these kinds of videos are completely different from "Movies." People scroll through or look for movies by name, home videos by date or event (more like iPhoto organizes things). Nobody wants to hunt for baby's first steps in a big alphabetical list somewhere between "The Avengers" and "Willy Wonka." -
Issues send email from my macbook Pro, it is a web based email, and I can send it by logging into the webmail site. The odd part is that sometimes it just works and most times it does not. I go through and make some random changes and and then go back and change it back and it wold work for that email, and then a few minutes later I try to send another and does not work, try doing the same and this time it does not work, getting a little frustrated, what else can I do, except chage back to a windows based laptop?
If you're having trouble sending, but not receiving, mail, it's likely due to your outgoing (SMPT) server settings.
Which webmail service are you using? Some provide some good guidelines on setting up your account, some not so good.

I cannot install iTunes. I get a Windows Error 126 and missing msvcr80.dll. I've tried uninstalling and re-installing based on all the suggestions, but still have an issue. I've removed all the services, tried moving the dll files as suggested, but I still have no success. Spent all day on this issue. I am running windows 7.
Sorry to hear this isn't going smoothly for you. Try Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates. You may have seen some of the suggestions here before but is has taken some users more than one attempt.

I just updated to the newest software and all my apps were deleted. I have tried syncing on itunes but it doesn't work. Help!
Try ReSynching to iTunes. If you set up sync to the cloud, turn that off, resync to your PC. That should bring them back. You can then turn on sync to cloud again.
You may, however, want to re-think that. There is a lot of chatter about the cloud being the source of some if not many of the battery issues. Personally, I decided to rurn the cloud off until the Battery-gate issue is resolved.

My Creative Cloud does not work anymore. When I try to reinstall it I receive the message "AAM cannot initialise". I have tried all the instructions but it still does not work. Robert
Try perform below steps.
Open task manager by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Esc keys. Click on more details if the option available.
Then end all Adobe related processes, including Creative Cloud and Coresync ( if running )
Then hold windows key on your keyboard and Press R key.
It will open Run window
In Run window, type Appdata and click on Ok
Open Local > Adobe folders
Delete AAMUpdater and OOBE folders
Then navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe
Delete Adobe Application Manager and OOBE folders
Go back to Program Files (x86) and Open Adobe folder
Try deleting Adobe Creative Cloud folder, if it is not allowing rename it to Adobe Creative Cloudold
Download and install Creative Cloud App from below link

I have tried all the fixes on the managing the Flash plugin website (uninstalled, reinstalled, updated plug in, etc) but I am still not able to access my subscription on my favorite digital magazine. I can view it in Internet Explorer and I can play Flash games on Facebook, etc. So I am at a lost as to where to try next. With it being on the old tower PC and not my new zippy laptop it is difficult to play with troubleshooting and with all the addons installed by my family I'm not sure what to delete or try again.
Did you post with the computer that gives problems or did you use another computer?
Try to uninstall and reinstall Flash.

Your above posted system details show multiple Java Console extensions.
You can uninstall (remove) the Java Console extensions and disable the Java Quick Starter extension as you do not need them to run Java applets.

I can not update my installed apps from the App Store Update page. I can individually update from the App Store Purchased page. I tried a soft reset but still unable. Any suggestions?
You are doing all that you cn do right now other than to update the apps in iTunes on your computer and sync them to the iPad.
There has been a problem with the App Store updates tab for a few days now and we are all waiting for Apple to fix it.

My Wifi has completely gone, the option on the slider is greyed out, and the slider won't slide. Tried all the fixes on the forums, (except the fridge/frezzer method), none work. Grrrrr! This has been an issue since installing new IOS! How long will it take apple to come up with a fix. My carrier offered me an early upgarde at a massively inflated monthly cost (how kind of them!).

My iphone 4s will not allow me to open applcations that I have downloaded. I have tried a few things but still will not allow me to open. Shows they are open once pushing the home button twice. Please help!
Pressing the Home button twice does not show you what apps are running. It shows you what apps were recently used.
Download a free app from the App Store. Once it downloads, your other apps should work properly again. -
my ipad 2 touchscreen doesn't work on most of the screen it got cracks all down the left side of my ipad and it has been working fine for a year after cracking but just woke up and touchscreen doesnt work i have tried to reboot it but still nothing
It might be time to contact Apple for an out of warranty repair (actually replacement)
