App Disappears after modifying price

I've just lowered the price on one of my apps for the first time.
Now the app is not able to be found in the store! What gives? Is
there an update period where the app is not visible?

Well answering my own question. It took all day and then it
finally showed up this evening. There's a days sales lost. Ah
well...

All newly installed apps disappear after the installation is done?

My problem started a few days ago. I install a new app from the app store and it shows up as loading on the home screen. As soon as the installation is done the icon simply disappears. Finder cannot locate it and the store shows the OPEN button, but it does nothing when pressed.I tried settings/general/usage/storage and the missing apps are there but the name of the missing apps does not show. I only see the icon and the size. I can delete the apps from there but reinstalling them does not help.

Unfortunately that did not help. It seems that there is a limit on the number of apps that can be shown on the home screen. I have close to 200 apps installed, and they are organized in folders on the home screen (3 pages). I must have hit the limit for apps in the home screen. I can install new apps, but they will not show up. If i delete one of the old apps then install a new one it will show on the home screen. I believe when the count gets to 189 then the next one (#190) will disappear after installation.

Easiest thing is to load your backup
Beyond that a lot more information is needed and it may be difficult and/or expensive - which is of cousre why you always have a backup and especially before doing any upgrades or updates - if you do not you are 100% guarenteed to lose your photos and other files sooner or later

Espn radio app disappeared after restore

I had to restore my iphone because it had nearly 5GB of "other" files. All my purchased apps disappeared, including espn radio. When I try to sync apps, itunes tells me this computer is not authorized for this app, even after I go to Store and Authorize this computer. Huh??? I'd rather not buy the app again if I don't have to.

Delete the app then restore it from iCloud it worked fine for me.

over 90% of my apps has disappeared after a routine sync. I lost over 50+ apps.
Is there any way to restore them? (other redownloading all of them, i can't remember the names on all of them)

after updating to 4.3.3 iPhone4, all my apps disappeared on my phone...nd it turns white when i tried to sync (can't click sync apps, but music, pics or vids are working)
i searched some discussion ab't same problem but all of them don't work for my situation.
my friend also updated to 4.3.3 iPhone4 but everything was okay...

Check the Mac's startup disk just in case. Launch Disk Utility (Applications/Utilities) Select MacintoshHD in the panel on the left then select the First Aid tab.
Click: Verify Disk (not Verify Disk Permissions). If the startup disk needs repairing, follow the instructions for Using Disk Utility to Verify or Repair Disks

YouTube icon and app disappeared after recent upgrade

I recently did an upgrade and afterward my YouTube icon and app disappeared. I just want it back! I went to the App Store and can't even find just plain ol' YouTube. How can I get it back?

The YouTube app is not included in iOS 6. You will either need to try one of the YouTube apps from the store (there is an iPhone optimised app from google, and other people have said that they are working on an iPad version), or try accessing the mobile version via Safari : http://m.youtube.com (you can create a home screen shortcut for the site)

Music app disappeared after 7 upgrade

When upgrading to 7, once the install was completed, my music app disappeared. Any ideas or suggestions on how to get it back? I see the Music app in the settings and when I search for it in spotlight, nothing appears exept some Brad Paisley songs and if I click on one of the songs I get the following error message.

Have you tried restarting the phone? Restoring it? If neither of those work I'd contact Apple.

Apps Disappear after upgrading IOS

I use my iphone for work and upgraded my IOS. This then erased not only my weather and Clock applications, but erased my Security "Soft Token" application. I then went to the App Store and tried to get the Security App reloaded, but it says it is "installed" so I am stuck

FIRST, reboot your phone and try the apps again. The symptom you are seeing means that the app is there but is crashing when you launch it.
Second, you do not have the same problem. The OP reports built-in apps disappearing. You are having a problem with purchased apps.
And lastly, if the apps are gone you can redownload them without paying for them again. This works for apps, but not for music.

I was thinking of sending a formal complaint and claim my money to Apple but thought I would give this Forum a try first.

I tried your link but none of the options apply (e.g. my App Store doesn't show the 'Purchased' thing on my iphone4).
I know data and settings are part of the backup but, mate, these apps have not been backed up! Plus, my wife updated her phone last night and the same happened to her!!!!
So annoying.

Apps disappear after sync

For some reason, when I sync my iPhone 4S to my Mac Pro, apps disappear from the iPhone. I know I can download them again, but everytime it deletes them I have to set them up again and all my data is lost. How can I prevent this from happening? I tried to tell iTunes to stop syncing the apps, but when I do it says it will delete ALL of my apps from the phone! ***?!

it happen when u download the app from your mobile directly and then you connect with the tunes it conflict because itunes don't have these app then its delete u can do this when u connect your iPhone with itunes u see the sync start click as quick as u can on the cross button on the middle of the itunes where he sync start this action stop the sync

Apps disappear after upgrade from iTunes 8 to 9.2.1

I had to replace my old iPhone 3G, upgraded to an iPhone 4, and iTunes told me it couldn't sync with my new iPhone until I upgraded to iTunes 9.2. So, I did, and in the process all of my apps disappeared. I can't get them off my old 3G because it's completely dead (went through the washing machine), and I don't particularly feel like having to buy the apps I've already purchased again.
I'm not too concerned with the free apps, but how can I get the apps that I paid money for back?

In order to prevent it - when you connect the iPad to the Mac - Transfer Purchases first before syncing - but turn auto sync off so that this will work without issue.
iTunes >Preferences>Devices> check the box at the bottom that says "Prevent iPods, iPhones .....from automatically syncing" click OK, and quit iTunes.
Connect the iPad to the Mac, launch iTunes, right click on the iPad name on the left side under "Devices" and select - Transfer Purchases. All purchased content will transfer into iTunes on the Mac. Now you can go into the Apps tab, make sure that those apps show up and have been selected to sync. Check all content of you liken all tabs. Sync when you are ready. If you make changes, click on Apply in the lower right corner to apply the changes.
You can download the apps again for free if you use the same ID that you bought them with. Use the purchased Tab in the App Store to find the apps.
