App manager failing in trial version download

I get a message that my Adobe app manager is corrupt and must be reinstalled while attempting to download a trial version of InDesign CS6. If I delete the app manager and attempt the download again, will it then install the proper version?

You may want to cancel out the download and start the process again.  Where did you choose to download the install files too?
Alternately you can follow the steps listed at http://forums.adobe.com/thread/981369 to initiate a direct download.

    whenever i try to install cc trial version of illustrator i get the following error message  "adobe application manager failed to install".  any ideas of why this is happening?

    NKerner then you may want to look at your wireless access point settings.  Some devices allow you to increase the signal strength or adjust the quality of service levels.
    You may also want to look at a temporary wired connection using a long Ethernet cable to see if it does resolve your download difficulties.

  • I am now using a different MacBook Pro, and want to install my CC, I have done that and downloaded the Photoshop App but its a trial version. How do I get the full version of the apps?

    I had a new MacBook Pro that was damaged and I am now using a different MacBook pro as my primary computer (running yosemite 10.10.1).
    I did uninstall the Creative Cloud off the old MacBook before I stopped using it.
    I have downloaded the Creative Cloud and signed in using my adobe username and password, but when I went to download the Photoshop App it is only giving me the TRIAL VERSION.
    How do I make sure that the apps are the full version that I have already paid for? (I do know that my subscription is still current)

  • App manager crashes! How to download Muse?

    Hi there,
    Adobe application manager cannot be convinced to survive more than two seconds on my computer. I am running Cs6 Design and Web Premium. All programs but app manager are running as they should.

    No help from Microsoft - who would expect that?

    Solved by downloading the trial. but not from within the cs-cloud because the app manager again appears and crashes. instead I got the trial from the adobe.com muse product site. There zou can download without app manager...

  • RoboHelp 10 Trial Version Download Link Not Working

    I have tried on multiple browers to download the trial version of RoboHelp 10.  Each time, it shows an error message after I select the language and click "Download."
    I called Adobe support and they said they couldn't help me: all I can do is post the problem on this forum.  How stupid is that? I am potentially going to buy this product and I cannot even download it!  Talk about bad sales on their part. (I wonder how the MadCap Flare folks would respond if I had the same problem? I'm just sayin'...)
    But I digress...
    Does anyone have a link that actually works?

    Thanks for the quick response. 
    I have tried I/E 9 and Firefox 17.   In I/E, I get the standard "Page not found" message; in Firefox I get "File not found."
    I don't have the Akami Downloader, and the option was never given to download it before I tried to download the trial.  I searched for it and all the places I found in my Google search require a purchase.

  • CS6 was working fine until App Manager failed

    I got a message to run updates on April 18; I obeyed meekly, but the process hung for some unknown reason.  Since then, I have been playing ring-around-rosy with Adobe Support and they seem not to be able to read my chats nor understand on the phone. At first, the entire suite was completely unusable.  I  have since uninstalled; used the clean up tool; uninstalled all prior versions of the Suite (CS4 and CS5, which I still used), and completely reinstalled.  I have deactivated and reactivated; uninstalled, cleaned and reinstalled repeatedly - as demanded by several calls and chats with Adobe Support.  Now, App Manager and Support Advisor both fail - the former with an initialization problem and the latter because it insists on Adobe Air that I have also installed repeatedly but which it does not seem to find.
    Finally discovered that to make MOST of the suite work, I had to manually change all of the various folder and file permissions to force admin execution (even tho I am an admin) AND add security for Trusted Users.  Now, of course, I have to confirm that I want to execute as an admin each time, but that isn't my biggest headache.
    Current HUGE headache is the problem with Acrobat ProX that requires that in order to save as PDF from Word or Excel (which I must do about 10 times an hour), I must
    start Acrobat
    start task manager
    kill both acrobat.exe and acrotray.exe. 
    THIS IS FOR EACH SAVE! [Thanks to the person who suggested this solution on another discussion!]
    I have now updated 2 chats with this problem, but each response refers me (in exactly the same language) to a page that tells one how to solve a different problem for Word 2003 and Acrobat 3 and 7! 
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Judycbarlow the fact that you are having to adjust file permissions could indicate that the permissions for your current User account may have become compromised.  As a test can you please try creating a new local administrator account and see if you face the same difficulties.  Also what version of Windows are you using?

The creative cloud is not letting me install it again, is there anyway I could sort this issue and download the premier pro again as I have not yet completed the 30 day trial period.

  • After installing LR CC  my apps are now the trial versions, including PS 2014 even though I have the Photographers subscription. Thoughts anyone?

    I had to sign out and then in again on the CC App to get LR CC to run but then everything has gone to trial version. I've signed in and out, deactivated and reinstalled the apps but nothing's worked. I even checked my account and it has the CC free membership listed against my account even though I'm a paid subscriber to the photographers CC plan. Not exactly the upgrade I was looking for! Any ideas?
    I'm running 64 bit windows 8.1

    I decided to uninstall Adobe Desktop Manager and reinstall, and seems to have remedied all of the CC apps issue...
    However still getting randomly logged out of my account and my password is not being accepted...
    Only way I got access again was to open three instances of the log in page and try again - third window opened, other two declared my password was wrong >_<
    This new online / cloud system is terrible. Might just reinstall CS5 anyway and be done with this crap. Meh!

  • Update to inspirations browser fails in trial version of PSE 10

    Downloaded trial version of PSE 10.  The second time I opened the program the Welcome Screen had instructions on updating the Inspirations Browser, which I had been using to access tutorials.  I deleted the browser from my hard drive as instructed then clicked on download.  An error was returned "A download error occured. Try to down load again?". Appears to be downloading Adobe Air, but I can't be sure.  I tried deleting Air and then tried Inspiration update again with same result.
    No help from support, naturally, since it is trial version.
    Windows Vista, sp2.

    Set IE as your default browser.

  • TRIAL VERSION DOWNLOAD

    Synching 1/2 hour of audio to 100 powerpoint slides was a
    disaster in the trial version I downloaded. Audio went on its own
    to the rear of the Audacity file and the ppt would lose a slide
    from time to time. We bought 2 licenses and those were being used
    by developers on 2 laptops - but to get more production out we put
    2 people on trial versions. We now think trial versions are
    corrupted. Has anyone else found this to be true? Was it the sheer
    size of the project too large for the trial version - or for
    Captivate for that matter? Is there a size limitation to Captivate
    that we whould know about? Any clues are
    appreciated!!!!!!!!!

    Many software products are issued updates after initial
    release. However, in the case of Captivate, the trial is fully
    functional and you aren't hindered whatsoever other than the time
    you have to use it before you are expected to buy a license.
    I think your use of the term "valid end product" is a bit
    subjective here. Here's why I say that. Anything you create with
    the trial version isn't really a "valid end product". It should
    function without issue, but it should not be distributed and used.
    I believe there is a time limit where even if you never purchased
    the license, you wouldn't be able to view the output as the date
    would be expired.
    But other than that it should be functional.

    I thought I could download trial before I buy. As I download this trial version and it launched, it gives me this alert "An eligible iMovie application was not found in the location/applications". I have iMovie 3.0.3 already in my application folder that came with OS. Since I want to try before I buy. Why is it doing this and how do I bypass this?

    I assume you have downloaded the free download of iMHD6.0.4 .. which indeed works only if iLife08 is installed.

    You could still run out of disk space on your temp folders... Do a little housekeeping - delete extranauous files in teh temp folder, defragment your drive.
