App Store Error Message

Some time ago I have downloaded an App called Cool Hunting.
Since then, when I download other Apps or updates a popup appears saying that "is impossible to download Cool Hunting" also if it's still installed.
The message does not appear every time i download something but randomly.
I have just erased the App from all my devices but sometimes the error message still appears.
What else can I do?

Okay, then the following boiler plate summarizes most of the things you can try in this situation:
Your Users Guide has a whole chapter (at the end) devoted to what you do when things aren't going well, generally following the sequence of
Restart - red slider, then boot up again
Force Quit apps - either via Sleep/Wake followed by Home, or via Recents Tray
Reset - hold Home & Sleep/Wake to force reboot
Reset iPad Settings - Settings > General >Reset
Erase All Content -   same as above
Restore iPad Software - iTunes or iOS 5 equivalent
You start at #1 and work your way through until the issue you're seeing goes away. If you get through all of the steps and it still doesn't work, you're pretty much out of gas and have to start talking to Apple.
It sounds like you've covered everything up to and including #3 above. So, start at #4 and work on from there. If you have further questions about any of these steps you'll find them discussed in your Users Guide.

I cannot download nor update apps through Apps Store, error message states that app cannot be downloaded, to try again later, this has been happening for the  last five days. Help!
It started when tryung to update Twitter. Now the problem is with every app I try to update or download.

I have this issue as well. The App Store icon indicates there are updates available but when I open the app a popup says it can't connect to the store and the screen remains white. I have tried a hard reset (power & home button) and several other suggestions I have found throughout the forums here without success.

  • App store error message "could not sign in" "an unknown error has occurred"

has anyone else gotten this message when trying to sign into the app store:
"could not sign in" "an unknown error has occurred"
i know my password is correct, i signed in on my macbook and on my imac and no issue there.
i called apple and they coulnd't figure out what it is, i reset my network settings and same thing. of course i can't do a restore because i'm at work and we don't have the new lighting cords here for me to hook up to my imac

I experienced this problem, too -- and with the help of an Apple support rep, figured out a way out.
Go into Settings and turn off automatic date and time, and set your phone back a year. Then go back and turn automating date and time back on, to get back to the present. Now go to Settings > iTunes & App Stores, click on your AppleID, and re-enter it and your password. Finally, go back to the App Store (or iTunes Store) and try to download what you had been trying before -- and if you're like me, it will now pop up with a new set of Terms and Conditions for you to approve. After you approve, you'll be able to download whatever you had been trying to.
It appeared, in my case, that Apple needed to present me with a new Terms & Conditions to approve, but for some reason, iOS 6 and the Apple mother ship weren't communicating correctly about how to do that, and I was stuck with the "Could Not Sign In" message. Changing the iPhone's time and/or re-signing in via Settings > iTunes & App Stores resolved the roadblock for some reason. Hope this works for others as well!

  • Upgrading 10.6.8 to Mavericks App Store error message

I have tried back over the last day or two with the same result. Anyone got any suggestions or an actual answer, please?

  • Mac App Store error message

Hello. I've successfully purchased a number of apps through the App Store and app updates are installing just fine... but... when I click on the UPDATE buton for OS X Lion (I purchased it), one of two things happens:
    1. I get an error message saying "An error has occurred" and it doesn't update.
    2. I get back a message indicating that it was purchased under a different Apple ID, but I know for a FACT that I have used one and only one Apple ID for all Mac App Store and iTunes Store purchases.
It's odd that OS X Lion successfully updated from 10.7.0 to 10.7.1, but the installer won't update.
    Suggestions? Ideas?

I've had numerous issues with the app store myself.  Purchased a new macbook air three days ago and set it up with a brand new app id, I don't buy stuff from the app store but you pretty much must have an id.  It tells me that I should update iPhoto and iMovie, so I click on there to update them and get the same error message as you, telling me that the apps are under a different account.
Bam out of luck, been round and round with email support.  They indicated in the last email that Apple is aware of the issue at least.

  • Mac app store error message failed download.

When I try to download an app from the Mac App Store  I get an error message  "failed to download use the purchases page to try again".
How do I fix this problem on OS Mavericks 10.9.4?

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a Fusion Drive or a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

  • App Store error message - Thai Store?!?

When attempting to use the App Store I receive a message that the App I am attempting to download is not available from the Thai store - that I must switch to the US store. I have never switched to a Thai store. I first started getting this message while in Italy a week ago and it persists now that I've returned to the US.  I cannot locate settings options that might help me switch back to the US store (even though I didn't switch out to begin with). Help?

    Back up all data.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
    /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/NetworkInterfaces.plist
Right-click or control-click the line and select
Services ▹ Reveal in Finder (or just Reveal)
from the contextual menu.* A folder should open with an item selected. Move the selected item to the Trash. You may be prompted for your administrator login password. Reboot and test.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination  command-C. In the Finder, select
    Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar, paste into the box that opens (command-V). You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.

  • New iPhone Family Sharing App Store Error Message

    All,
Not sure if this is the right community to ask this question.  If not please move it.
I just got a new iPhone 6 Plus.  I set it up as new rather than restore from backup of my old iPhone.  I signed into my own iCloud account for iTunes/Apps, Family Sharing and etc. I am a parent/guardian and NOT the organizer.
The issue is when I go to the App Store>Purchased on the 6 Plus, I notice the following message:
"This iTunes account is setup to use Family Sharing with a different iCloud account than [email protected] Learn More"
I do see my other family members and their purchases.  I am also able to download their purchases as well.  So Family Sharing on the App Store appears to be functioning properly with the exception of the message.  iTunes and iBooks do not show the message.
My old iPhone and my iPad also do not display this message when I go to the App Store.
    Any ideas?

I'm getting the same error here when trying to purchase from app store this morning (error 100). I have done the whole restart mac, log out as suggested by apple.support and other forums etc... Perhaps it's a server problem? 2013 Retina 15 mbp 10.8.4.

  • App store error message downloading BBM to iPod touch

    Has anybody seen this message?
It's my daughters iPod. Trying to get her BBM so she and I can chat when I'm away (I have BB...not always carryin my iPad around with me). I did have BBM on my previous iPhone 5S, but it doesn't appear in my purchased apps (at least as far as I can see...a search function or ability to re-order the list would be wonderful, Apple).
    Any insight appreciated.

(To fill in the obvious blank in the original post....)
    we have family sharing.
(Taking that info and add it to what was already there...)
so....cannot find BBM in my list of previously downloaded apps (it's a big list, which cannot be searched, thanks Apple) from my daughters iPod through family sharing.  Trying instead to re-download it (usually not an issue in anyway whatsoever), but get the message shown.
I assume this clarify's the situation?
