App Store Genius only on iPhone (not desktop) ???
Why is the genius feature for the app store not accessible from my laptop running itunes?
you would think that this would be the other way around... usually the mobile device is missing some features of the desktop.
all in all i like the new version of itunes on the phone & the mac. i especially like the new genius features for music and applications. i think it will help tremendously in sorting through all of the garbage on the app store. considering it was so hard to find good content unless it was on the top 25 or featured pages. and even at that, on the top of the list recently was complete crap like I AM TPAIN are you kidding me? camera genius? camera zoom? finger security? really? i know i'm taking this a little far and it's definitely an OT rant but it just illustrates my point that GENIUS needs to be available on the desktop itunes.
please help by submitting your feedback to apple & get the app store genius available on the desktop version of itunes as well!

Is there a limit that will display from the iPhone? How do I get all of the purchased history to display?
Your iPhone has to be signed in to the Apple ID you used on your iPad when you originally purchased these apps in order for them to appear under Purchased on your iPhone (i.d., Purchased will only show apps purchased under the Apple ID you are currently signed into). Find out which ID you used to purchase the apps (launch iTunes, highlight Apps on the left under Library, highlight each of the apps, go to File>Get Info and look for Account Name: This will be the Apple ID that you used to purchase the app).
Once you know the Apple ID, on your iPhone go to Settings>Store>Apple ID (at the bottom), Sign Out of the current ID, then sign into the new ID. Now go to Purchased and see if the missing apps are there.

For voice memos, I have include voice memos when syncing selected under the Music tab for my iPhone sync preferences with iTunes which transfers voice memos from my iPhone to my iTunes library when syncing. -

It sounds as if AT&T has already told you they can't do what you want. It doensn't sould like anything that's fixable on your end.

Why is my Apple ID not working in iTunes or App Store on my iPhone? When I try to buy apps or music it asks for Apple ID so I enter my info and nothing happens. When I go to settings/iTunes App Store my Apple ID is not there. When I enter my ID and password it does not save or link to account. I do not have this problem with iPad ID is stored and can be used in App Store and iTunes. I have just upgraded to 5c and it's still a problem.

When fist setting up your new iphone you will be asked to log in with an apple id and password. If this did not happen you can then do as you suggested going to settings to itunes and app store and add your apple id login. This apple id login must have already been created for the iphone to accept it. If this apple id is already created but is not being accepted by your iphone you then should shut down your iphone and restart the device.

My app store application on my IPhone 4S is not accepting my Apple ID and password. The ID comes up, but I don't think it is totally correct as it doesn't have the complete email address which is actually my ID. I know the password is correct because I just changed it even though I knew what my last one was, I changed to be extra sure. I am not sure how to change the ID in the App Store application.
To change the ID:
Settings > Store > Apple ID. Sign Out of the old and in with the new. -
How come there are no hidden objects games in the South African App Store and y does safari not allow you to get it downloaded from the net. There are only games for kids in the App Store. Can anyone help. Is the South African apple ipad only for children
Nobody here is responsible for what is or is not available in any country. I believe it is a software licensing thing.

App Store Genius in iOS 6 on iPad - does it still show iPad version of apps?
I've used the App Store Genius feature on an iPad that indicates when an iPad version of an installed app is available. The concept, in detail, is that if you have copied or downloaded an iPhone version of an app onto your iPad, this Genius feature lets you know if an iPad-specific version of the same app is available. This feature can obviously be quite handy for someone with both an iPhone and iPad who keeps largely the same apps on each.
I just updated to iOS 6, and I can no longer locate his feature within the App Store on an iPad. (I am using an iPad 2, specifically, though I don't see think should matter for this issue.) Top Paid and Top Free are often the big names or the cookie-mold free-to-play timesinks and they often stay there for a very long time. Please bring back the release date tab!

Running the latest version and most current update of snow leopard. Have 250 GB on computer. Have Intel core I7 2.66 Ghz processor. My computer is about 2 yrs. old. So processor and memory are not an issue. I want to upgrade to Lion, but cannot do this because I cannot access Mac App Store. I have backed up computer on external hard drive, and I have no music or pictures on my computer now. I have I-Life, Windows for Mac, I-tunes, Pandora, Plants vs. Zombies, and that is all for additional software on here. I have had problems with the app store since it was launched! Apple is suppose to be superior! At 2 plusk, I would expect it to be, but so far, it has been inferior! It is definately NOT user friendly. At least the computer end and software is not. It has been a pain dealing with the app store, trying to watch webcast on here, always having to download an extra plugin only to find that it isn't compatible! PLEASE MAC, for 2,000 dollars...REALLy?!

If you can't access the App Store from the Apple menu, Dock, or Applications folder installing the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo will reinstall the App Store for you.
It's ok to do this even you are already running v10.6.8.

FYI: Some third party software can cause issues with the App Store > Mac App Store: Sign in sheet does not appear, or does not accept typed text

I am using iPhone 4, and I had about 50 apps needed to be updated, which is stated in the App Store icon. I have not had time to update them until today. However, when I was ready to update all the apps, I found out that there was not any apps in the App Store icon needed to be update. Does anyone knows why? Please help. Thank you very much!
This morning I had the same issue - even though I have pending updates, the app store badge is gone and it says all apps are up to date. I, like many others I'm sure, selectively update apps based on reviews. I'm sure there is either an app store refresh/update on Apple's end or a run on the app store causing errors or issues.

I can not update/download an app from app store by using my iphone 4s. I try every method by re-setting date/time and reboot the phone etc.NO Help.

A return of "i am local" ensures there is no remote connection to your machine (through SSH).
In the future, to avoid remote entry, I would recommend not posting your IP address though. -
I purchased a program on Mac App store and the program does not act as it should, also was required to pay up front whereas had I went to the web site, ibank 4 I would have had 30 days free trial an would have found that the program does not work.?
Free trials are not available through the Mac App Store.

Can anyone recommend a duplicate file finder application for OS10.6 systems? All the apps I find on the App Store are only for 10.7 and later. I don't know how to filter a search on the App Store by operating system (if this is even possible). I currently have a MacBook running OS10.6.8. If you can recommend an app, please post the URL.
