App-v 5.0 Sequence package that requires reboot?

Hi,
I'm sequecing a package that requires a reboot. When I do the reboot, I cannot continue packaging (it does not give me the option to continue).
Please advise.

I had the same problem. I bet the following will resolve your issue:
Fire up your sequencer and open the group policy management console (start, run, gpedit.msc). Expand the following nodes:
Computer >
Administrative Templates >
Windows Components >
Remote Desktop Services >
Remote Desktop Session Host >
Temporary Folders
Look for a policy called Do not delete temp folder upon exit. Configure this policy to
Enabled.
When you package an application with the sequencer, it stores everything in a temporary folder. To keep things clean, RDS will dump the temp files every time you log out. When you restart your machine, you're losing all of your temporary files
so the sequencer doesn't start, and it doesn't know that you've previously sequenced an application.
If this is your problem, setting this policy in your "clean sequencer" image should resolve the problem for you.

The 2nd generation iPod Touch can not be upgraded beyond 4.2.1. If an App requires a version of iOS higher than that, you can not install it.

Best practice for dependencies that require manual download?

what is the right thing to do when creating a package, that requires the user to manually download something? Specifically, I am creating a package, that installs the LeapMotion software (a .deb file). As it requires a developer account to download it, it has to be downloaded by the user and put somewhere. I've seen in the ttf-ms-win8 package, that it just puts the file names into the source array and expects the user to put the files in place. But when I do the same, I get an error about the missing deb file, when running `makepkg --source`.

As this is my first attempt in creating a package for Arch, any other comments on my PKGBUILD are very welcome as well.

Just a couple of tips for you. First, you don't need this anymore:
cd "${srcdir}"
All the package, build and prepare functions begin in ${srcdir}. Second, I'd recommend that you move to sha2 sums instead of md5. Third, it's really good practice to quote all your variables, including ${srcdir} and ${pkgdir}. Fourth, ${pkgname} should be lowercase. And finally, use `install` instead of `mv` for the package function.
Your way of defining the source variable is perfectly fine, so other than the changes I would make above, it looks great.

Since I upgraded to ios 7.1.1 I'm not getting notification alerts that require an action before proceeding?

For example in the notification center it says you can set an app up to trigger an alert that requires an action before proceeding and I'll get them if the screen is locked but if I'm using the phone then the only way I will know about a text msg etc is if I happen to see the badge icon with the red numbers. Any help would be much appreciated. And yes everything is set up to trigger those in the notification center. Thx!

Having issues with patches that require multiple reboots in a task sequence?

Are you guys having issues doing a build and capture or deployment, while including the recent patches ?
It looks like another patch is requiring multiple reboots which breaks the task sequence...
Long story short... the last time I created a .Wim file was in June (with ZTIWindowsUpdate) - it included all the patches as of June 2014. This image has been deployed since then with no problem. All the other monthly patches (07/08/09/10/11/12/01) can be
installed successfully through the deployment task sequence with no problem.
Then last week, I decided to create a new .Wim file to include all the patches as of January 2015. In my build and capture step, it exits because one of the updates requires multiple reboot. I checked on the following website and it has not been updated

Do any of you experiences issues with a WSUS that requires multiple reboot recently ?

As mentioned, the MDT offline updates task will do it. Add it to your build and capture and it will do the work for you using the updates in an update package that you've previously created. Alternatively, use a stand-alone instance of MDT to create your
image (using a build and capture TS of course) -- this can then use a stand-alone instance of WSUS to install the updates into your image which you then import into ConfigMgr.

I am getting DCOM Subsystem Detected while Sequencing the Adobe illustraterthrough APP-V 5.0 Sequencer .
I have attached the error .is any impact will be to run this .appv package on app-v , and if there is some issue whar are the solution for this?

Are you sure you have a 4g/3g iPod? If you don't have a camera, it's definitely not 4G. If it has no camera and is 8 or 16 Gb it is a 2G and can't go beyond 4.2.1.

Connect your iPhone to iTunes, and find Software Update in the main interface pane. It should prompt you to install iOS 5.1.1.

If you open the Maps app where does that say you are located?
For location the iPod uses the location of nearby routers that are in Apple's database of routers and their location. Thus it appears that Apple's database is incorrect. You do not have to be connected to the router, just within range.
Apple periodically updates their database based on information they obtain from iPhones, The iPhone has to have turned on the option to send info to Apple. no one has found another way to get the location of a router added/corrected.
You can confirm that by going to well-know place with wifi like Starbucks or McDonalds

Well, no. It's because that the iPod 4th Gen has iOS 6 and the apps need iOS 7. I suggest that you get the new iPod 5 because it has iOS 7. Also the iPod 4 does not have enough CPU or RAM. The new iPod 5 has enough CPU and RAM to store iOS 7 apps.

When I go into any app that requires me to use the key board I instantly go back to the home page and can't access anything (not even settings)

APEX app using Oracle Text to index pages that require authorzation

Hi Gurus and APEX Dev team
My team need to develop an APEX App that will index all our documents spread across various servers. Some of the documents require Single sign on access (e.g. KIX.oraclecorp.com) and some require other authorization methods (e.g. Metalink) . The Question is , Is it possible to index the pages that require authorization using Oracle text. If yes How? I have implemented the demo app which can index pages that do not require authorization.

Hello,
Unless I misunderstand you, the fact that the pages require authentication doesn't really matter, it is the underlying data you want to index correct? If so then you would index them in exactly the same way that you would index any table data using Oracle Text/interMedia.
