AppBuilder: Onboarding on SMP 2.3 failed

Hi all,
is there someone who has successfully used Appbuilder with SMP2.3? I have an application created on SMP2.3 and I can create a new connection for this application manually (using RestClient). But Appbuilder fails to onboard when I try to retrieve service information from a corresponding SMP server profile (401 - unauthorized).
Is there a change in user onboarding from 2.3 to 3.0 or should this work?
Best regards
Meinrad

In a workshop material I read while configuring "SMP settings" in appbuilder that ,
"Security Config name will not be used in SMP3, it is only for SMP2.3 version." that made me to think of a possibility of on boarding with 2.3.
Also help me understand how appbulider on boarding happens with SMP cloud now (AppBuilder - Connect to SAP Mobile Platform Cloud Version).

  • Request User State Store Fails with error code 0x00004005

I am trying to get a machine refresh working in SCCM and am running into a road block with the user state migration. The Task sequence hits Request user state store and then fails. In the logs on the machine it shows it downloads the cert from the SMP but it fails to verify the cert. The thing is that this was working and then stopped for no apparent reason. I have added a second SMP and it has the same issue so its got to be something environmental causing this. I have found no references to the errors I am recieving that relate to the issue so I am stumped. We have a SCCM 2007 site in mixed mode. The error log is:

    Hi
I am getting the same issue.
    More info:
The same task works ok for one client - an xp machine that was upgraded to vista sp1 using sccm but without usmt.
If I send this machine a task which includes usmt and os deploy it works.
On 2 other machines ( so far) , the request store fails with the same error  - 0x80090006. (one of them existing vista and the other xp)
I have tried removing and adding the client from the domain but it did not help.
    Any idea?

  • N8 Store downloads fail

    Hi,
I gifted my Mom a N8, primarily due to the camera and her familiarity with Symbian. I have had a hell of a time setting it up thus far. If anyone could assist, I would be grateful...
Main issue is that all attempts at downloading games/apps via the onboard "Store" app end up failing. Click on download, shows "downloading" briefly but almost immediately shows an error that download has failed. This happens with ALL apps in the Store.
Has anyone experienced this and been able to resolve?
    Much appreciated...

    Brevon wrote:
I was able to sign out eventually. Signed back in, but same issues as detailed in original post. Every attempt at downloading an app fails.
Very frustrating - all this lady wants/needs is a few games and Skype!
Have you tried clearing the browsers cache? Open the default browser tap Menu > Settings > Privacy > Clear privacy data > All.
Also, you can uninstall the Store client from the application manager and re-install the Store QML client rather than installing it over the top of the existing Store client.

  • Erratic K8N Neo Platinum

I have a MSI K8N Neo Platinum configured with an AMD Athlon 2800+ 64 bit processor accompanied with 2*80GB SATA drives and 512MB DDR400 RAM module.
The problem with my mobo is that it has become highly unstable and behaves rather erratically 9 out of 10 times I try to use it. Some of its most troublesome operations are
    * It fails to go beyond POST or DEL option ( i.e. it hangs at that option )
    * Even if it manages to go beyond that, then it fails to boot ( HDD, RAM & Processor are recognised in the BIOS properly )
    * If it finally boots in to Windows XP, it is liable to hang the PC after sometime, the primary reason being the Processor usage is shown at 100% even if nothing is going on at the OS interface and only 16 -18 background processes are running.
I have checked the AGP card and its working fine, I have checked the RAM modules by replacing them and also checked the slots onboard.
SMPS is a 400watts power supply, providing enough power to all the peripherials and is working fine.
These are the problems I have being facing for the last 3 months or so and they have increased manifolds in the last month or so. My PC is refusing to start up at all costs and it takes more than an effort to start it up. Please help me guy in this regards.

Nopes Mate I am not overclocking my Processor. Its running at stock at 1.8GHz only.
As far as the Dynamic overclocking part goes I'll have to check it out as I am not using my PC presently.
The AGP card I am using is a Asus 128MB card with a Nvidia FX 5200 GPU on it.
No mate I am not using RAID anymore. I used it initially with 2 SATA drives in RAID 0+1 mode. My Primary IDE port is connected with a Sony CD RW and a Sony DVD ROM. The other IDE port is empty.
I am using 2 SATA HDD's. Both are identical pieces from Seagate having the following specs
7200RPM, 8MB Buffer and each has a capacity of 80GB.
Coming to system memory, I have 512MB of RAM in all. It is manufactured by Hynix Semiconductors and I have 2 modules of 256MB running at a frequency of 400Mhz. ( i.e. 256MB*2 = 512MB )
I have an SMPS from Intex and carries a tag of providing a supply of 400watts. Though I am not sure of its claim, but Intex is a respectable organisation in our country ( India ) and its brand carries a certain name and value. So whether it fits the bill or not is open to speculation. But one thing is for sure that in the initial phase, my PC was running fine with the same SMPS. So we can safely assume that the SMPS makes the cut and delivers a respectable performance even though it comes nowhere near to giants like Antec.
Hope I have answered most of your questions. If you do have some query or confusion bout my PC, do post it, I'll try and make it more clearer & easier for you so that you can help me out of the mess I have landed myself into.

Ive tried to restart it by unplugging and holding down the power button, getting a new cable,I listen in for any beeps from the cpu but nothin the fans are working good. I need to get alot of personnal files, family pictures, and Web Projects out of it. I've checked for anything inside to be loose, everything seems to be in place and finely put. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!

It could be that the video card has failed or if it is using onboard graphics and they have failed.  If you do not wish to  spend any funds to solve the problem, one can remove the hard drive and connect it to another computer to retrieve the files needed.

  • Error while working in Kapsel plugin Logon  for Cordova android project (app builder)

    Hi Experts,
I am working on new appbuilder with SMP 3.0 sp02  and i am successfully able to create cordova project with kapsel plugin for android. but when i deploy the app on android simulator i am getting this error.
    I foolowed this link by
    Midhun VP
Developing SMP 3 Mobile App using Appbuilder, Kapsel and SMP 3 Trial - Part 1
even when i try to install kapsel plugin manually through command line i get error (attached scrrenshots).
Kindly help me to resolve the issue.
    BR,
    Saurabh

Since you are using SP02, I don't imagine this is the problem but I believe I have seen something similar so thought I would mention it here.
In SP04 of the Kapsel SDK, a new parameter was introduced that specifies where the Kapsel plugins are located.
    For example
    cordova -d create C:\Kapsel_Projects\LogonDemo com.mycompany.logon LogonDemo "{\"plugin_search_path\":\"C:/SAP/MobileSDK3/KapselSDK/plugins/\"}"
I believe this creates a folder named
    LogonDemo\.cordova that contains a file named config.json.
If AppBuilder creates the project, it may not include this details and could lead to problems similar to what you are seeing.
Specifically Kapsel uses a modified version of the org.apache.cordova.inappbrowser plugin and if this setting is not provided, the unmodified version of it is added to your project.
For additional details on the plugin_search_path see
    http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-49592#cordova

  • Solaris x86 with card on-board

    Hi all,
I got a problem when installing Solaris9 x86 on ibm NetVista Machine.
I have installed 2 other machines with separated network card sucessfully. I can configure to connecto to my LAN network.
But when install on 2 ibm NetVista machines (which include onboard network card ), It is fail to be configured to connect to the network in both following cases:
Case 1: I choose proper driver as Sun suggest for Intel VE Pro(R) 10/100 : iprb. And the Solaris detect successfully. I checked by "ifconfig -a" and saw the network card active on "iprb0".
Next, I following correct instructions to configure the network card to connect to the LAN. But when i ping IP (9.187.186.18) to other computer in our same subnet LAN,
The system display eg: "No anwer from 9.187.186.18"
I run the "snoop" command to view broadcasr ARP in an other terminal. The snoop terminal displays ARP signal boradcasting from the Solaris. However, it can nerver get ARPs from other computer in LAN.
Case 2: I add 3COM network driver to the solaris ( onboard card is no loger used ). The system can auto-detected this card and i can configure to connect to the network. The problem remain unchange.
Is there any special in IBM Netvista machine need to be configure under Solaris x86 or any particular configuarion for on-board network card. ???
Can any boy help me to solve this problem ??
    Best regards,
    Thang,
    Vietsoftware Developer

However, it can nerver get ARPs from other computer in LAN.Are you perhaps running "snoop" on a box different from the one that you're trying to ping, and are you using
a switched ethernet? In that case it would be OK if you only see the ARP broadcast, because the ping target
box will send the ARP reply directly to the MAC of the requesting station (i.e. there's no ARP broadcast reply),
and an ethernet switch will send the ARP reply directly to the port where the station with the given destination
MAC is connected - no other port should see the reply.
If you're trying to ping 9.187.186.18 from the new Solaris x86 box, try to run snoop on the 9.187.186.18
system. 9.187.186.18 should see the ARP broadcast from the LAN, and the 9.187.186.18 box should list the
ARP response it sends back to the LAN.
Is there any special in IBM Netvista machine need to be configure under Solaris x86 or any particular
configuarion for on-board network card. ???I guess the interrupt handler for the NIC is not working, so the Solaris x86 sees no incomming packets.

  • Recharging battery via USB - N95-2 8GB

Does somebody know why isn't possible to recharge the batteries via USB cable in the N95-2 8GB? Hope is not just my phone.
So far I remember connecting a Nokia N73 and a SE M600i to my laptop at work and both recharged the battery while connected.
Why they took that option away?

I always wondered about this, charging from the USB - when I got my N95 initally I assumed it did charge from the USB - much like other handsets do.
I'm not aware of any Nokia phone that charges via the USB connector. (not being aware is not the same as there isnt one!) The maximum current of a USB jack is only 500mA when connected directly to the Host port. Even then the controller is not supposed to supply all that power, unless a routine in the device requests it.
There are moves to try and standardise the connector:
    http://www.theregister.co.uk/2007/09/21/omtp_data_standard/
To a mini USB across all the manufacturers but I doubt this will be soon.
I don't think the firmware will allow for adding this function, as the 5v power will need to be routed in the hardware to the phone's charging circuit. If the software were a problem then I see no reason or way that it would be disabled, (would need some kind of switching device to disable it extra hardware in the charging circuit etc)
I'm not sure if there is something more than just connecting the power in the CA-100 - I have one of them and it gets a bit warm, so perhaps there is a resistor or regulator in it for some reason.
The phone will (in the firmware) will also need to request the system to provide the full 500mA to it (should the phone need it)
I have many Nokia Chargers, some are 5.7v some are 5.0v some are 300mA some are 800mA. Perhaps if there is also a "One size fits all" then somekind of control/conversion from the 5v to a different voltage will also be required in the phone.
I recall the Nokia 2110 would have a problem with an onboard transistor that used to fail, and subsequently the phone wouldn't charge the battery, even though the meter was showing full. Perhaps this is the lesson that Nokia learnt all those years ago
    Shunts...
I will mostly be communicating with a Nokia E72 Zodium Black
Nokia E72-1 with Vr 051.018.207.04 Software
If this post helped... Add some kudos!!

  • Gdm-20e20 monitor on sparcstation 20 and ultra2

    Hi.
    I'm using a Sun (sony) gdm-20e20 on a sparcstation 20 and ultra2.
On both the monitor and server turns on, the orange led on the monitor flashes for a bit and then the green led turns on but nothing comes up on the screen.
Does the same thing on my normal pc monitor that ive been using on some E450's and E250's except for when the led goes green i get picture up (openboot screen appears)
Not quite sure why its doing this, theres probably and obvious answer just don't know it :)
    can anyone help?
    thanks

... having a bit of difficulty trying to understand the issue.
The PC monitor does work on the SS20 and U2, while the Sun monitor does not ?
If "Yes" then what have you set for resolutions on those two older computers?
Did they EVER work with that Sun monitor ?
Are you direct-connecting the monitor to the DB13W3 ports?
The GDM-202E20 has a very limited range of resolutions (only three).
960x680 (though why anyone would use that one is questionable)
1152x900 (Sun's historic standard default output)
    1280x1024
See that monitor at a 3rd party web site in Australia
OBP and POST should be at the customary 1152-mode, so this is truly perplexing.
Next, the onboard video of the SS20 fails if the Vsimms go bad.
It could also be configured to run with a SBUS video card.
The Ultra-2 requires a SBUS framebuffer or a UPA framebuffer.
Do the computers boot up enough for you to telnet in from another system?
You could log into them and investigate using that procedure.
Otherwise you will need to TIP in and figure it out that way.
Perhaps there are some custom settings in OBP that need to be cleared out ...

  • 8800 GTS 512 OC - Runs in 3D for few minutes then freezes

    Hi there.
I just got an 8800 GTS 512 OC, upgrading from a Radeon 1950 XT. The card works fine in 2D (it's in the machine as I type this). But when I try to play any game, it works fantastically for a few minutes (or seconds depending on how intensive the game is), and then freezes completely, with sound looping endlessly. I have to reboot to get out of it.
I got the latest WHQL driver from Nvidia, 169.25, but that didn't help things. Oh, and don't worry, I removed the old ATI drivers and ran DriverClean Pro to remove any hidden remnants before I installed the card and drivers.
I cannot use MSI Live Update, because as soon as I install it, I get a BSOD after rebooting:
    flashsys.sys,
    page fault in non-page area
    0x00000050 (0xBAB78000, 0x00000000, 0xBADF71B0, 0x00000000)
Thinking it might be an OS issue, I then reformatted the system and ran a clean install of windows, but the same thing happened again. Makes me suspect that this is a hardware issue, since it seems the new WHQL driver is working jsut fine for other people.
My system has worked fine until this card was installed, but here are my system specs for reference:
    System specs:
E6600 at stock speed cooled by Zalman 9500 mod with Noctua 120mm fan
Asus P5K-Deluxe, with P-ATA, Firewire, LAN og WLAN controllers disabled.
    2GB Corsair Dominator 8500 @ 1066 v/ 5-5-5-18, 2.2V
Corsair HX-620W PSU (should be more than enough juice)
D-Link DWL G510 PCI Wifi kontroller
NEC Optiarc 7170 Sata II DVD burner
    Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 500MB Sata II (houses C: partition + E: storage)
    Old Maxtor 320GB Sata I (storage, D:)
Gigabyte 3d Aurora case fans: 1x120mm front, 2x120mm back
    and of course:
MSI 8800 GTS 512 OC, ved 730core 1944 mem, with Forceware 169.21 WHQL
Running legit Windows XP Professional SP2, fully updated.
    other processes:
    ESET Smart Security
    Logitech SetPoint
    Soundmax panel for onboard sound
The card also fails while testing with ATITool artifacts scanner. A worrying thing I have noticed is that the fan speed does not adjust as temperature increases. Instabilities while running ATITool start when the card hits around 75C, and gets worse and worse as it passes 80C. Fan still runs at same speed. Might be a fan controller issue, but this card should not be having problems at 75C-85C.
I should specify, that it does not actually fail the artifact test...it just starts freezing, then going again, then freezing, then going again, until it freezes completely.
I really do not know what to do next. I think my card is just plain faulty, so thinking of RMA. If anyone has any ideas or advice, please please help me out.
    Best regards,
    Mikkel.

Setup VGA mem. freq. to 1872Mhz and re-test.
OK, I just tried out your suggestion, but sadly, the same thing happens. I should add that it does exactly the same thing when just running the 3D view
Also that the card emits a high-pitch modulating whining noise (it is not bearing noise from the fan, it sounds more like a high-pitch capacitor buzz), is that supposed to be there?

  • SMS_EXECUTIVE service missing, will not reinstall -

Update: The answer points to a forum post that indicates that the system environment variables tmp and temp need to point to C:\Windows\Temp. In our environment these variables pointed to a folder called 'temp' in the root of whatever drive was being
used at the time. Ultimately the issue I had was resolved by creating the 'temp' folder on the installation drive. So in my experience, they don't necessarily need to be pointing to the standard temp folder.
Recently I noticed a handful of our DPs/SMPs were all having an issue. Component Monitor said that the SMS_EXECUTIVE service wasn't running. I checked, and none of the affected servers had that service installed. I removed all the site systems from SCCM
entirely, then started to try to reinstall the systems  one at a time.
I noticed that the Distribution Point role would install just fine, but the SMP role would fail. It's not clear to me what the failure is, as sitecomp.log basically just says that the installation failed and will be restarted. I know that the SMS_SERVER_BOOTSTRAP
service is being installed and I can see it running when it's performing operations.
I'm at a loss as to what is causing the issue. I'm an SCCM noob, so any guidance at all would be appreciated.

I did a find/replace on our server FQDN and apparently misspelled 'local'. The actual FQDN being used is correct, though.
That link is interesting, as the system %tmp% and %temp% variables on our servers point to '\TEMP'. While I'm not entirely discounting that theory, it doesn't explain why some servers are unaffected, while others are. These are all 2008 R2 servers, and are
all configured the same. Due to network restrictions we currently have a DP/SMP at nearly every single physical location that we have across the state, as of right now there are 70 of them in total, and end state will be 76. Only 11 of those 70 are exhibiting
    this issue.
I did notice that on the drive that we're installing the role compnonents to that there is no 'temp' folder, I've added that folder and will attempt a reinstall on one of the servers to see how it goes.

  • 6330 J17...MSI u need to help us

    jumper 17 on k7T turbo2 (6330)
I got the same miotherboard bro. There's nut'n wrong w/ your board. It is good..but for some reason..the manual forgot to tell us how to solve this jumper 17 thing. I have the same problem like u. I've tried everything and it won't run at 133mhz. I have 256pc133 mem sticks, AMD Athlon 1333, updated board drivers, BIOS, tried runnning at a slower cpu clock..u name it i've tried it. Only boots when the jumper is on J17 and thus, the cpu clock is fixed at 100mhz. Then i get a total speed of 1 ghz (clock ratio is 10 i figure; that's the default). My tower pushes 350 watts..that s/d be good enough. MSI..I LOVE YOUR BOARDS MAN, BUT U NEED TO TELL ME AND EVERYBODY ELSE W/ THIS BOARD HOW TO RUN AT 133 MHZ. I'm TIRED OF THIS.  , is there sum'n in the BIOS u forget to state in your manual. Also Suamarez the LED lights tell u what's wrong. Look at the manual. Based on the color combination..u'll know the problem. If it's video card...just take it out and plug it back in. Happened to me..very funny board..very sensitive to hardware changes. HELP..we need answers on this J17 thing  :

Can I conclude that the board DOES NOT WORK when ONLY AND ONLY with J17 set to 133Mhz AND onboard sound DISALBED?
    Thanks.
    Hi Maesus,
    1) I have tried it with BIOS 3.6 and 3.5
    2) J17 short (FSB 100), sound DISABLED = PASS
J17 short (FSB 100), sound ENABLED = PASS
J17 open (FSB 133), sound DISABLED = FAIL
J17 open (FSB 133), sound ENABLED = PASS
sound ENABLED (Auto) is the default BIOS option, so when the system is "damaged" with SOUND DISABLED setting, CMOS resetting will heal it.
Path to the sound setting is Advanced Chipset Features/OnChip Sound (Auto/Disabled)
    3) AMD Athlon XP 1600+ and XP 1700+ (both Palomino), Radeon 7200 64MB DDR, 512MB IBM ECC, Seagate BIV 40GB, Fortron 300W.
    4) Sorry I don't have D-LED - bulk version of motherboard.
    YES, your conclusion is right.
I don't know if the problem is general or only in my system.
    Thanks for Your interest.

  • Need confirmation on Windows Mobile Device compatibility for Fiori

    Hello Experts,
Can you please confirm if SAP Fiori application is compatible in Windows Mobile OS 7.X/8/X devices? In  http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1935915 , I am not seeing any mention about Windows Mobile Devices. We need to know if SAP Fiori application can be run in any browser in windows mobile devices and if there SAP Fiori client in available in Windows App Store. Please help us in getting this information.
    Thanks,

    Hello Krishna,
Thanks for the prompt response. So, after seeing the comments, should I come to a conclusion, as of now Fiori is not supported on Windows Mobile Devices and if my understanding is correct, are you aware of any tentative timeframe when we can expect Windows Mobile device compatibility for Fiori? The reason is we are looking for a customized Fiori application for Windows Mobile Device, and was looking to check Fiori compatibility for the same.
    Regards!

Right now, the SAP Fiori Client appliction doesn't work with SMP. With SMP 3 SP03 which was released last week (Ramp-up customers only, sorry), there is an updated proxy that supports Fiori access from a Kapsel application (the application would need to onboard with SMP and that's not supported with the Fiori Client today).
The next release of the Fiori Client will have support for SMP and more. Next on my todo list is a blog post that talks about SMP and Fiori. You should find all of your questions answered there. Expect it next week.
Yes, we plan on supporting Windows 8.1. Right now, Cordova on Windows 8.1 doesn't support some of the things Fiori Client does. We're working with the Fiori team, the Cordova dev team and Microsoft to work through all of those issues. No definitive timeline, but it is something we want to support

    Hi All,
I want to develop an application using RESTfull service. I have already developed REST service,I want to use that service in Appbuilder Application for SMP3.0. How can I call the REST services into our SMP 3.0 Appbuilder application? If i directly call the services(GET method) from Appbuilder, It is working but ODataQuery is not working for filter.
1.How to access the POST method in Appbuilder?
2.where should I provide the username and password for the login URL in our appbuilder for POST method URL?
3.How can I convert those REST service to ODATA services?

In this discussion i found the solution for this issue. But Appbuilder supports the REST services i to used the REST service with GET method, I don't know how to use the POST method directly in Appbuilder?
    Can any one suggest me
1.How do i querying the GET method of REST services?
2.Is there any other procedure to call the REST Service with POST method in Appbuilder?
