Application - NACE

Hi all,
I understand that idoc generation is automated thru NACE. In this transaction, the procedure, condition records , output type are being specified after selecting the application. The specific application that i need to automate is not listed in the set of application types. what exactly is to be done now.

Automatic IDOC generation is enabled only for certain applications is SAP. This is done via the 'Messgae Control' functionality. Typical applications are SD and MM. For the other applications the IDOCs are generated by sheduling a batch job with IDOC generation program periodicaly.

What I can do to mitigate this error?

•1.     Verify that UAC (User Account Control) is enabled.
•2.     Verify that Internet Explorer is running in Administrator mode.
•3.     Verify if some active X fucnction fails and try to reset all the IE and active X permissions to default.
•4.     Verify if any other Anti Virus (AV) software prevents IE from launching its executable from its temporary directory.

ALE Customer master SD: Transaction NACE application DB

Hi,
What I want to do: Sending a IDOC with a ALE transactional, and this for all creation or modification of customer in SD (transaction VD01, VD02).
I have already create a full ALE for ORDERS (V1).
My problem is in transaction NACE (condition for output control), in the displayed list in field APPLICATION I don't see DB. If I put the cursor on application field and with F4 I obtain a list from table T681A and in this list I can see DB.
I am vorking in vesrion 5.0.
So my question is: Can I for customer use Transactional ALE with DB application?
If yes what I have to do to set "DB" in NACE's list?
IF no, I will use change pointer ! Or other new method if exist and you tell me.

Try transaction V/46. here you can determine the cust output procedure and assign the required condition types.
Further, assign the procedure to the required account groups in transaction OVT0.

NAC Agent scan running application

Dear colleagues,
My customer is being on ISE PoC. They want to test the Posture feature for running application.
I would like to ask: what is the scan interval of NAC agent. If I want to use NAC Agent to scan an illegal application on PC, but at first, when logging in, the application is not running. After NAC agent notify that the client is compliant, user start that application. So the question is, can NAC Agent detect that?
Please kindly share your experience on it. Thank you for your support.

The feature you are asking for is passive reassessment and is done on intervals configured by the administrator.

Extending field catalog of application ME using transaction NACE

Hello,
I extended the field catalog of application ME using Transaction NACE. I inserted material field as ZZMATNR but I couldn't find this field at IMG->Materials Management->Inventory Management and Physical Inventory->Output Determination->Maintain Condition Tables->Output: Create Conditions Table ->FieldCatalog.
How can I use ZZMATNR?

In the message determination for purchasing, the field catalog in Transaction M/60 should be enhanced, for example, with a field for the user ID.

The communication structure to be maintained can be taken from table T681Z. Table T681Z can be displayed with Transaction SE16.Use 'B' for message determination and application EF for purchase order.
Thus the structure for purchase orders to be maintained is KOMKBEA.
The following section describes how to include field 'User ID' in the structure.If other applications or fields are used, the following example can be used in a modified form.
Solution
1. You must include field ZZUSNAM in communication structure KOMKBEA.In this structure there is an include that is provided for additional fields.In this Include KOMKBZ you must include the field with the name ZZUSNAM. ERNAM can be used as the domain in this case.
2. The same field must also be included in structure KOMB in Include KOMBZ (the same procedure as under point 1).
3. In table T681F use Transaction SM31 with key B, EF to add the same field. You can do this by overwriting an existing field.
As of Release 4. 0 you can use view V_T681F in Transaction SM30 for that purpose. Enter usage 'B', your application and field group '001'.
4. In the message determination, the system runs perform USEREXIT_KOMKBEA_FILL. This perform is in program RVCOMFZZ.
The source code should be changed as follows:
FORM_USEREXIT_KOMKBEA_FILL.
COM_KBEA-ZZUSNAM = SY-UNAME.

NAC Cisco Clean Access Agent - launch self signed application, remediation

Hi,
we are trying to run custom executable in remediation process with non-admin rights. As I understand it there are following requirements in order to be able to do that:
1) CAA Stub have to be installed
2) Application have to be signed with trusted certificate
3) Certificate and Application details have to be written in registry structure to be trusted by agent stub.
We've followed every step in documentation but still receiving the same error in event log:
"jada_jada.exe" is not a qualified file to be executed.
Can't figure out why is it refusing to execute it, we tried every combination.
Any idea what may be preventing it?

thank you for reply ... yes I have root cert installed on client machine, when I look at file properties, it says certificate is OK. One thing that comes to my mind though is that I am member of domain, so maybe certificate have to be installed as root at domain controller?
When I have the opportunity I will try it.

This is for reversal of goods issue.
If in some case you have picked a material and done PGI then you decide that there was an error is Ship to Party or delivery date or rates etc. and we want to revert back then you dont cancel the delivery instead in the first place you reverse the goods so that the material and accounting documents that have been posted during PGI are reversed.

ISE: UI not visible for application launched by NAC agent during rememdiation #CSCun60071

Hi guys,
Someone facing this behavior/problem? When I start the remediation process (AV) with a administrator user, the process works fine.
But when I start the process with a normal user, the AV UI update start running in the Windows Session 0 and the user can't see the window.

Back up all data on the drive immediately if you don't already have a current backup. There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional—ask if you need guidance.

Hi Santhosh,
Nace is for message control settings. Say if u want to trigger a Smartform or an Idoc or any other customized program u can do the message control settings.
Say at the time of Sales Order creation or updation u want to trigger a Smartform, then u have to follow the following steps:
Goto NACE
Select application V1 and then click Output Type.
create a new Output type or copy the existing one abd save it with new name
then in Processing Routine Mention the driver program name and in Form routine mention the main subroutine name.
In Smartform mention your SMartform name and also the layout if u have ceated.
Again go to NACE and Select application V1 and press Procedures.
here out of the many procedures u have to select the right one and attach your Output Type to it.
You can also create a condition record..Say if u want to trigger this Smartforms for Sales Order of particular type.

i've developed a smartform for purchase order i've configured in nace .instead of MEDRUCK i have given the Smartform name as ZPURC im getting the error as 'ERROR IN OPEN_FORM'.

Please check ur logic.
Assigning form in NACE.
Goto NACE Transaction.
select EF application and then click on Output types Push button.
Now select output types NEU or NEUS and double click on Processing routines folder on the left side on the screen.
Now in Medium Print output remove the form in PDF/Smartform Form field and assign ur own form name which u have created.

Try downloading the jar file itself and opening it with winzip or checking its contents with jar tf <jarfile name>
if it is indeed corrupt (as the exception stacktrace seems to indicate) try mailing the person who wrote the demo so that he can check whether the jarfile is there or not, and whether it is corrupt or not.
Other than that, nac.
