The Application Store requires that you answer 3 questions for future verification. The questions offered are questions that I at least have no clear answer to. What was the first film you saw? and the like. You can say Not now, but then nothong happens and you are back to where you started. Is there a way to proceed with downloading apps without answering these stupid questions?
I refuse to believe that Apple as an organisation designed these questions - must have been somebody else.
This is Apple's security feature, you answer the questions or you stop using the account and buy Mac apps elsewhere. Do a search on Secure Notes in the keychain and answer the questions with nonsense answers and store them in a Secure Note for future reference.

According to your description, you are using Enterprise Core edition and you are prompted that you can’t use remote data sources.
In your scenario, we neither ignore your point nor be doubt with what you say. But actually we have met the case before that even though the SQL Server engine is Enterprise but the reporting services is still standard. So I would recommend you to find the
actual edition of reporting services you are using. You can find Reporting Services starting SKU in the Reporting Service logs ( default location: C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\<instance name>\Reporting Services\LogFiles). For more information,

With SQL Express, Data source should be local SQL DB.
With SQL Enterprise, Standard, BI edition, you can create Data soruce which are hosted on other servers.

If you don't understand what he is saying, I will try to put it
in other words.
1. Login dialog. Once your applet starts, it will display nothing
essential, perhaps just a nice background and it will open a
dialog for userid-password. If authentication is ok, close the
userid-password dialog and display in your applet whetever you
have in mind.
2. Card layout. Your applet will start by asking for userid-password
in its area inside the page. When authentication ok, display whatever
the applet is supposed to display.
In both scenarios, there are no two applets, but a single applet that
changes from state 1 (authentication) to state 2 (display data).
The only difference between the two scenarios is aesthetic,
i.e. do you want a popup for userid-password or you want it inside the
page? I would go with the card layout. Both are relatively easy. -

Have an iphone 3G and wen to install the Facebook app from the app store. Wen I selected install app, it said that the iphone requires IOS 4.3.
I then plugged the phone into itunes and it said the phone was up to date (IOS 4.2.2 I think it said?). How can i install these apps, the same happened and other apps i tried to install. Any advice would be much apprecaitedUnfortunately there is nothing that you can do and you CAN'T install these apps becuse your phone is too old. A 3G cannot be updated beyond iOS 4.2, which is the most it can support and these apps need iOS 4.3 or above to be installed and there are no versions of these apps available.
Developers have to place a cut off somewhere and keep developing for the most recent software that does not now include the 3G.
If you want to install these apps on your phone, then you will have to upgrade to either an iPhone 3Gs, iPhone 4, 4s or 5. That is all you can do because you won't be able to download these apps on an iPhone 3G - just not possible any longer. -
TruBlueEnvironment requires that you type your password
On two different machines, we have one person who has received this error while working on Quark 4 in Classic mode:
"TruBlueEnvironment requires that you type your password"
The Mac OS X user is an administrator on that computer. This strikes me as odd why this authentication came up to ask for the user's password to use Classic on both computers, not just one of them. This makes me think that there is something that the user has done to prompt this, or there is something odd about the documents that were being worked on.
Machines: iMac G5 & PowerMac G5. Both are running Mac OS 10.4.2 and have Classic mode.Select the item named Working Drive in the Finder and choose Get Info from the File menu; you can use the Go to Folder command in the Go menu to navigate to this folder. If this item isn't listed as an alias, you can safely move it out of the Volumes folder.
If your issue isn't fixed by moving the item out of the Volumes folder or if it is an alias, create a new description in the authorization file like the one for com.apple.TestApp.benign, but with system.volume.unmount as the right.

Didn't the link to contact the iTunes Store staff in the 'Additional Information' section of that article work for you? If you don't already have a valid rescue email address, only Apple itself can reset the questions.

After a recent iTunes update my iTunes failed to start. I uninstalled it and then reinstalled it again, but during installation an error message pops up saying: 'Apple Mobile Device' failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start the system services. The three option buttons which can be clicked are 'Abort', 'Retry' and 'Ignore'. I tried pressing ignore, which allowed iTunes to install. However, it seemed that not all parts off the programme installed, as it wouldn't allow me to open iTunes again. Whenever I press retry it just makes the same message pop up again. How can I show that I have 'sufficient privileges'?
Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

Can someone please tell me a simple but effective method for burning a slideshow to DVD? Now that the connection between iPhoto and iDVD no longer exists, I can't figure out a way to get there with an acceptable quality result.
Export the slideshow out of iPhoto as a QT movie file via the Export button in the lower toolbar. Select Size = Medium or Large.
Open iDVD, select a theme and drag the exported QT movie file into the open iDVD window being careful to avoid any drop zones.
Follow this workflow to help assure the best qualty video DVD:
Once you have the project as you want it save it as a disk image via the File ➙ Save as Disk Image menu option. This will separate the encoding process from the burn process.
To check the encoding mount the disk image, launch DVD Player and play it. If it plays OK with DVD Player the encoding is good.
Then burn to disk with Disk Utility or Toast at the slowest speed available (2x-4x) to assure the best burn quality. Always use top quality media: Verbatim, Maxell or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R are the most recommended in these forums.
If iDVD was not preinstalled on your Mac you'll have to obtain it by purchasing a copy of the iLife 09 disk from a 3rd party retailier like Amazon.com: ilife 09: Software or eBay.com. Why, because iDVD (and iWeb) was discontinued by Apple over a year ago.
Why iLife 09 instead of 11?
If you have to purchase an iLife disc in order to obtain the iDVD application remember that the iLife 11 disc only provides themes from iDVD 5-7. The Software Update no longer installs the earlier themes when starting from the iLIfe 11 disk nor do any of the iDVD 7 updaters available from the Apple Downloads website contain them.
Currently the only sure fire way to get all themes is to start with the iLife 09 disc:

You then can upgrade from iDVD 7.0.3 to iDVD 7.1.2 via the updaters at the Apple Downloads webpage.

I spent hours building a photo album for my parents only to find out that because my mac is earlier than 2007, even though I have 10.6.8, I can no longer order?! What is with that? This makes no sense. I can go online to various "photo shop" place and regardless of the OS and computer I am working from I can order a photo album so why can I no longer do this through iPhoto on my MAC?
How do I order my album now? If somebody could please explain as I am going home in 1 month and really wanted to surprise my aging parents with this book.I found this:
