Apply different eases to sections of a tween? Please help.

Flash CS4 has a feature where a tween can have more than two keyframes. If a tween has three keyframes, then changing keyframe 2 will affect the motion from keyframes 1 to 2 as well as the motion from keyframes 2 to 3. This is a very cool feature.
But there's one problem: I can only figure out how to apply an ease to the entire tween, not to the motion between two keyframes. Do you know how I can apply one ease to the motion between keyframes 1 and 2, and a different ease (or the same one a second time) to the motion between keyframes 2 and 3?
I've had two ideas so far for getting the same result:
1) Make a custom ease that includes all the eases I want. I find this too cumbersome and imprecise, unless there's a way to copy an existing curve into the space between two keyframes of a second curve (without replacing the whole second curve).
2) Split the tween at each keyframe. But then every time I want to adjust keyframe 2 I have to do it twice, and sometimes the break ends up jerking slightly. I'd really rather keep keyframe 2 a shared keyframe.

Hey there,
If you're easing properties that are not X, Y, Z, the easiest way to do this is to just make the property keyframes smooth - the curve will ease the property into and out from that keyframe.
Spatial properties would need the custom ease. The snapping feature in the custom ease graph will hopefully make this a bit easier if you aren't using it already. We realize this is cumbersome for the spatial properties, and it's something we're working on for future revisions of new motion.

    I just created an Apple Id for my wife and a user account for her.  We are on the same computer (iMac). I cant for the love of God get my itunes library to show on her user account on computer.  My library shows up under shared library when i select it it just keeps loading and nothing.  When i try the hold down option while opening itunes on her user account and then choose library my library doesnt show up as option.  What in the world am i doing wrong, why is Apple making this so difficult. We are not going to buy separte computers just to share itunes content. Please help.

    You can sync devices with the same iCloud ID, not seperate ones.
    If she has a different login on your Mac, make sure she has her own ID defined in System Prefs > iCloud

  • Rating is being applied to EVERYTHING, not just the active image- please help.

    Seemingly out of nowhere a particular feature in LR stopped behaving the way it normally does for me.
    When I am in the Survey view (in the Library mode) and I have a number of images selected because I am trying to make my selections, it suddenly started applying my star rating to the entire set of say 10 images I have selected, and not just the one that is active. This is very strange- I have never seen it behave like this before. I can't remember hitting anything or changing any settings, but it just seemed to have started out of nowhere.
    It appears that if I go in and "manually" click on the star scale that appears below each of the images when you mouse over it, THEN it will apply the star rating to just that one image, but I can no longer just hit the "5" key and have just that one image that's active get the 5 star rating. It's doing it to everything.
    I've tried just restarting LR but that didn't change anything. Please please help, as this is really messing up my workflow.

  • Applying Same EQ Ajustiment to Another Sound Clip -- Please Help

    I have been working with the Gain and Channel EQ's on a sound clip to raise audio levels and adjust sound levels, etc. How can I apply the same adjustment I created on a clip to a different audio clip (that follows immediately after for the same sound, etc.) I know there is a simple way to do this...but I don't know how.
    Please let me know.

    If the different clip is in the same environment and same type of sound as the first, you could just create a preset with your settings and apply it, or if you're in a multi-track project, group these clips together on one track and put the EQ on the entire track.
    If the different clip is not in the same environment and you are trying to get them to match, you could try EQ matching in the processing menu. Take a snapshot of your EQ curve, apply to the 2nd clip. Haven't tried it myself, but give it a go.

  • Imovie 10.0 no longer can edit small section on music file. please help

    So this is very frustrating.  Spent hours trying to figure this out and am now turning to you guys for help.
    Previous version of imovie could do this and I can't figure it out on 10.0.
    So if I am creating a movie and I add a music clip from itunes.  Just for reference or better lack of description let's say I like a song that I'm adding to my video but there is a word or section in the song I don't like, I used to be able to grab that small piece of audio in the song itself and change the volume of it (just that section).  Now I can only reduce or increase the sound of the entire clip but not a small piece of it.
    Am I missing something?

    Yes.
    You need to add some keyframes.  Option click on the volume line in the audio will add a keyframe.  To change a range within the clip will take 4 keyframes.  Two pair.  Put two keyframes as close together as you can, and then gothe other end of the range and repeat.  Lower the volume bar between the two pairs.

    Jailbreaking devices is a bad idea (and for most people, it's really old school). Update the devices to iOS 7 and all of your problems should go away.

    About the new iTunes version, where and how do I choose to sync tv shows to my device, whereas on the older version, you could go to it however I can't seem to find it on this latest version, is this something that they forgot about when they created this latest version or is it an issue where they should really consider ease of use, because it was easy to do at first but now I am lost and it is frustrating to not be able to use my phone like I was used to, that's the reason I don't like downloading new updates

    Start over.  When you use Photoshop or any other graphics editor to generate your HTML code, you're asking for trouble. The code is too rigid and fragile for anything more than quick prototypes.
    Use graphics apps to create images only. Use DW to build your HTML and CSS code.

    As you are using a very wide page 2000+ , browser adds a scroll to view the page content.
    Please try to scale down the page width and height which will solve the issue.
    You can set width and height from page properties but if you add contents then page will stretch according to the page elements added.

    In Pages 5, how do I apply different margins to different section in the same document? there are is no layout break like in Pages 4.

    Use the Text Format Pane, Layout Tab, Indents.
    You could do the same thing by dragging the margin stops on the Ruler.

    Hopefully someone can help. I have the application "djay" and in two different menus there is the action "Eject". I was wondering if it's possible to apply different keyboard shortcuts to those actions with the same name? I can't see how to do it as it seems you can only write the action but as there are two it doesn't seem to work for me.
    For example:
    djay>Table-1>Eject - ⌘⇧1
    djay>Table-2>Eject - ⌘⇧0

    A NodeList doesn't only contain 1 element. In your example it contains ALL <Data> elements inside the document.

    Hi all,
    I have a website that I'm building that has multiple spry accordian features on it.
    I am trying to apply different styles to each accordian. A problem arises when I try to place an accordian within another accordian.
    I have styled two different background images for two of the accordians for the styles (AccordionPanelTab, AccordionPanelTabHover and AccordionPanelOpen AccordionPanelTabHover) which work fine.
    When I try and place an accordian within another accordian the background image for this accordian for the styles (AccordionPanelTab and AccordionPanelOpen AccordionPanelTabHover) has the different style applyed that I stated in the accordion.css file, however the style (AccordionPanelTabHover) has the same style as the accordian it is within even though in the accordion.css file I stated a different background image.
    I hope all this makes sence below is my source and CSS Code.
    I appriciate any help that can be given to help resolve this issue I am running in too.

    Firstly if you're wanting to seperatly style two or more Spry Accordions that are not within each other e.g.

    You don't have to do this, as long as you have seperate ID's for the divs (which dreamweaver automatically does anyway) you'll be fine.

  • Apply different styles to text within a Text field?

    I am working on an application that consumes a user-generated
    HTML file and displays it on part of a Flex screen. The main
    problem is HTML can look something like this (for example):
    Hello <span class="greeting">Mr. Smith</span>,
    how are you doing <span class="title>today</span>.
    Unfortunately, the Flex Text control only accepts a single
    style that is applied to all text within the control and the
    htmlText property only allows for very basic HTML markup and does
    not include support for applying styles to a part of the text.
    I've thought about creating a series of Text controls (each
    with its own style as needed) and putting them together in an HBox.
    However, this messes up word wrapping if the text exceeds the width
    of its container.
    Anyone have any ideas how to solve this problem?

    Could you please elaborate your requirement since you can have different instances of synchronized text have different formatting.
    So your original menu can consist of various text blocks (marked with different content tags) and then duplicate them and apply different formatting to the copied text. The text is still linked and an update to one will get synced to the other.
    If you are looking at applying different styling to chunks of text within one textframe (marked using a content tag), THAT is not possible, since the tagged content is supposed to maintain integrity of text and not the associated styling (which you should be able to apply independently).
