Appointments received showing one hour forward and Reykjavik time zone

My appointments received are showing one hour forward and Reykjavik as the time zone. When I check them on my outlook desktop they are the correct time. I've checked my time zone ans settings on my z10 and they are correct. I can correct them using edit on the phone but don't want to have to do this each time. Am I missing something?
I saw a post from another time zone which said it was a bug that the developers were working on and a work around was to alter the time zone on the phone by an hour but surely this would alter the time on the phone?

I have tried the same BES installation with an Exchange 2010 Server. No problem with the time zone there.
I have testet an 10.1. Smartphone with Exchange 2003. No problem. All of our 10.2 devices have this problems. On two of these devices the sync of the caleneder has stoped completely. Im now searching for a was back to 10.1 on the affected blackberry devices.
Any hints are welcome

  • Events moved one hour forward in the Iphone calendar

    Hi,
    I have Iphone 3gs, 3.1.3.
    Windows 7 and Office 2007.

For example event that starts at 9 in the outlook will start at 10 at the Iphone.
    2. All the events for full day in the iphone are one day backward.
For example event that is in all munday in the outlook, is in all sunday.
I tried to delete the event are sync.
I tried to force rewrite all the calendar information in the next sync
I tried to unmark the V in the automatecly clock change.
    Can someone helps me?
    Thanks

Under the setting app in on the iPhone, go to the mail, contacts and calendar heading. At the very bottom of the calendar settings, do you have time zone support turned on?

  • Client sometimes shows 'In a Meeting' and other times just 'Busy'

Client sometimes shows 'In a Meeting' and other times just 'Busy'.
Any ideas what might be causing this?

Lync user can get calendar data from Microsoft Exchange Server.
If you schedule a meeting or accept the meeting, the presence can change to “In a meeting” when the meeting starts.
The busy presence can be displayed when you use keyboard or mouse frequently.
For the details, you can check the document Chapter_06_Enhanced_Presence.doc at

  • Worldclock and Calender time zone woes

World clock gives me all the wrong times.
I am in Eastern time (Miami USA), have my time setting to automatically update (from the network) and have time zone support off (because that horribly upsets my calender which I synchronize with iCAL)
If I put in London (england) the time shows one hour ahead of Miami Florida.
Guess there is no solution for this yet.... any way to work this out in the next version of the firmware?

    Hey there!
It sounds like the times for your events are changing depending on the time zone you are in. You can disable this in the settings for Time Zone Support with this article:
To disable Time Zone Support for calendars
Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
    Scroll down to Calendars.
    Tap Time Zone Support.
Slide the slider for Time Zone Support to OFF.

  • Entourage- Event And Computer time zones do not match. Please Help

Event and computer time zones do not match. In calendar views, the event time is adjusted to display correctly.
Whenever I set up a appointment I put it in at one time and it show up as another.
    PleaseHelp

I am in Ohio (eastern time) and I am also having this problem. It is not annoying but my problem is I am not able to schedule any meeting on Entourage. (It will not show if the person I am inviting is busy or not). They use the Exchange server in my company, and I read on the microsoft site that public folders and hence the calendar items are not synced. But seems like this page is for Office X and not 2004. Any clues? Is the time error related to me not able to schedule meetings? I am using latest 10.4 and Entourage 2004.

  • Entourage: "Event and computer time zones do not match."

Since installing the latest update to the Mac OS (10.4.6) I have a glitch with Entourage (Office 2004 for Mac v. 11.2.3) and I believe it has something to do with the Mac OS. See below for explanation:
When adding a new calendar event to the calendar, I get an error which reads:
"Event and computer time zones do not match. In Calendar views, the event time is adjusted to display correctly." This is not true. I've checked the time zones in both my OS and Entourage and that is not the problem.
It must have to do with how it interacts with the latest update of the Mac OS. I had not updated software on my laptop for a while, and it did not exhibit this error, so as a test, I downloaded and installed the latest version of Office and tested Entourage: no error message. To be sure, I restarted the computer and tried again: no error. Then I downloaded and installed all of the latest updates to the Mac OS using Software Update: I got the error. So, I think the problem is the interaction between the latest update of Office 2004 for Mac and the latest Mac OS or maybe even just something in the Mac OS.
There are plenty of people complaining about this on the newsgroups at Mactopia. I'm not sure who needs to repair this problem - Apple or Microsoft, but does anyone know if there will be a patch issued by Microsoft to fix the problem? Or maybe my assessment is wrong and you have another solution?
Thanks very much for your help with this problem.

  • Process order and user time zone

Our system server time zone is CET but we are using EST for user time zone and plant. When we create process orders, the creation date/time is using the server time zone CET.
I understand that in the database, the CET time is used but Is there a way to show the timestamp in the user time zone EST?
    Thanks,
    Ghislain

    Hi Lisa:
We usually let USers maintain their own time zone even though its different from System Time Zone.
When it comes to SAP systems, BASIS usually maintains this and it will most proabably the time in their zone.
And users have their own time zone.
It effects only for support Deelopers who migh tlook at failed jobs in SAP/BW and try to decode them. In this case, they will have to know the differences in TIme Zones, but its not a bog problem.

  • Can't open and lock time zone table error on every open

080416 14:22:43 [Warning] Can't open and lock time zone table: Table 'mysql.time_zone_leap_second' doesn't exist trying to live without them
I get that error message in the log every time I open 8. What gives with this program?

This error is usually caused by a corrupt ppt file or an incompatible font.
A quick work around is to recreate the presentation in Keynote from scratch using the images copied from the original.

  • Some calender appointments show one hour too early after sync

when I sync my calendar from ical to my iphone, some appointments (that are repeated weekly) are shown on time and some one hours to early. This occurs with all apointments dated after november 1st (switch from summerclock to winterclock in Europe). I supposed it has something to do with timezone. I had this problem on my mac as well, so I turned timezone support on, and the problem was resolved. But the problem remains on my iPhone. And strange enough, some appointments are shown correctly on the same time before november 1st, but some of them are shown too early. I use my calender and iCal MobileMe sync all the time and need it for all my apointments. But now it's not reliable.
    Can someone offer help?
    thank you.

I found this solution on another discussion (http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=8399991&#8399991) It worked for me!
On my iPhone I went to Settings, Mail/Contacts/Calendars, All the way at the bottom is a selection for Time Zone Support, it was still listed as GMT-4 which would be correct for DST. I turned Time Zone Support off and then back on again and it changed to Washington, DC (GMT-5). All of the items on my Calendar were then correct.

  • Events from my subscribed to Yahoo calendar are showing up in iCal one hour off and all calendars and computers have been reset to Central Time.

I Use Yahoo calendar as my main calendar so my dh can access it from work, so I subscribe to it for iCal. I recently moved from Eastern Time zone to Central. I didn't re-set all my calendars and apps right away. I have all my calendars and computers on Central Time now but events from my Yahoo calendar are showing up in Eastern Time in iCal. I cant edit them on my Mac or iPad because they're events from a subscribed to calendar.
So, how do I get these events to show up at the right time?

  • NEED HELP - Text Messages showing up hours later and no more notifications

Up until about 3 weeks ago, I was very in love with my S3 as it worked perfectly.  Then about 3 weeks ago (March 12 or so) I started receiving my text messages hours or days after they were sent.  We then went to Canada for a week and I had no mobile data.  The issue with my messaging continued, except now I rarely get a notification when I get them.  I have been back a week and it has gotten worse.  The messages seem to come all at one time once or twice a day, there is no notification when they come, and I am occasionally missing messages.  It does not matter who the messages are from.  I have rebooted the phone multiple times.  I have tried using Handcent SMS instead of the default messaging application to no avail.
Is there something going on with Verizon Text messages?
Is there another place to go besides the following to set notifications?
    Messaging
    Menu
    Settings
    Notifications
Check everything, Default Ringtone, and Alert Once
Since this started before we went to Canada, I do not think that was the cause.  Although, there were several times that I got the message Updating Sim Card information when we were there and I had the wrong time a lot of the time.
    Please Help!!

So today I go to send a text and get one from last night.  Don't get the sound but it did show up on my notification bar.  I sent the text and realized my clock was off by an hour.  I went into settings, Date/Time and both are set to Automatic, but for some reason it is showing Central Time Zone.  I uncheck Automatic Time Zone and set it to Mountain Time Zone, exit Settings, and perform a Shut-Down.  Pull the battery, Sim Card, and SD Card and reboot the phone.  Go back into Date/Time and reset it Automatic.  This time it stays in the Mountain Time Zone.
Could I possibly need a new Sim Card?
Please Help.  I really do not have time to go wait in line for an hour at the Verizon store for them to tell me that they will have to look into it and then not get back to me for a few weeks, if at all.
    Thank you.

  • It says iCal will default events with no end time to one hour..and mine used to..but since I upgraded to Lion it doesn't.  Any suggestions as to how I can get it to default events to one hour?

My iCal used to default to one hour when I posted an event with a start time and no end time.  The user guide says it will default to one hour.  Since I started using OS Lion, my calendar doesn't do that.  Can anyone suggest a way for me to get the calendar to default to one hour again?  Thanks.

    Dana,
Here are some iCal data entry tips from iCal Help:
Enter a name, date, and time duration for the event, and then press Return.
For example, you can enter “Super Bowl Party Feb 5,” “Movie with Rebecca on Friday at 7pm,” “Soccer Game on Saturday from 11am-1pm,” or “Breakfast with Jon,” and then press Return.
If you don’t enter a time duration for the event, iCal sets the event’s duration to 1 hour.
If you don’t enter any time information for the event, iCal makes the event an all-day event.
If you enter “breakfast” or “morning,” iCal sets the event to start at 9 a.m.
If you enter “lunch “ or “noon,” iCal sets the event to start at 12 p.m.
If you enter “dinner” or “night,” iCal sets the event to start at 8 p.m.

  • IPhoto automatically resets photo timestamp one hour forward

Since the reversion to Standard Time last night I notice now that my iPhoto exhibits peculiar behavior when I attempt to set the "time" field for a photo. No matter what time I enter, iPhoto changes my entry and displays that time plus one hour. For example, if I set the "time" field to "10:47:03", iPhoto displays "11:47:03".
Is iPhoto storing the time I entered or the "corrected" time? If as a workaround I enter the correct time minus one hour and thereby see the correct time displayed, will the time displayed be shifted back one hour upon reversion to Daylight Time next spring?
Is this a known bug or can I take action to fix iPhoto?
    Thanks.
    iPhoto version: 8.1.2 (424)
    OS X version: 10.6.4 (10F569)
I have my system clock set to synch with time.apple.com, and it was properly set back one hour last night. I have also rebooted my computer since the switch to Standard Time from Daylight Time.

Try deleting the Delete iPhoto Pref File
iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your User/Library/Preferences folder.
NOTE: If you're moved your library from its default location in your Home/Pictures folder you will have to point iPhoto to its new location when you next open iPhoto by holding the the Option key. You'll also have to reset the iPhoto's various preferences.
