Apps are small on iphone when I open them
I recently got a new iphone because my old one was messing up and my insurance plan gave me a new one. On this one, whenever I click on certain apps (The Weather Channel, Polyvore, Twitter) it shows up on the screen tiny. I doesn't take up the whole screen, just the middle of it. And it only shows half of what would normally show up if it was using the whole screen. I can't do anything on these apps. Does anyone have/had the same problem and knows how to fix it?
Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

Like I said, I downloaded some Apps onto this Imac. When I try to use them it says that they were purchased on another computer. That said, I don't have another computer. It will then ask for my to sign in with my apple id and password. When I put those in, it says that the computer can not be verified. Contact apple support. I don't have apple care and can't exactly afford to buy it at this time. Anyone know how to resolve this issue??
Ok, I had a glitch, forced to restart, and lost my train of thought.
Reinstalling iTunes should fix the major issue that might have gone wrong, perhaps your explaination points will disappear and everything will be peachy again.
But if they don't, you can open the XML file in iTunes Folder using a Text edit program to see what the common pathname is to the iTunes Music folder or where your content is located.
If you moved the itunes folder, it needs to go back.
I can't download iTunes to my Vista virtual machine to test it out right now because iTunes is down, so I can't verify the pathname, perhaps your issue and the iTunes being down are related somehow?
You don't want to import all your music again, but it's a option, but you lose all your playlists, that's what I'm trying to recover.
If oyu don't have a whole lot of playlists, then simply select all the explaimation point music and delete, select File from the menu and import your itunes folder again. -
Some apps are closing as soon as I open them.
A couple of my apps are closing when almost as soon as I open them. I tried holding both buttons until the apple logo appears but this did not resolve the issue. Also tried deleting and reinstalling but this did not seem to help either. Can anyone please help?
Have you synchronized to your computer lately? If you did, did you enable app synchronization too? That can be overlooked and cause this sort of conflict.

Got an iPhone 4 yesterday and cannot add events in calendar. There is no + button and have searched in settings but cannot see how to do it.
Also downloaded game apps open with a whining noise that lasts for about 30 seconds plus. Had to turn volume off as its very annoying. Any help pleaseDid you try updating the firmware or resetting all settings

It will not remove any data, just settings and things like ring tones etc -
Hi, I have the iphone 4 and I manually deleted all the voice memos on my iphone but they still appear on my iphone when I open Itunes on my computer and they still take up space. I am soon running out of space. Any ideas to permanantly get rid of some of the voice memos?
Am I the only one that really dislike the fact I cannot customize my iphone and cannot delete whatever files I want?
The only options i seem to have is to delete all my files WITHOUT a system restor because I tried doing a system restore and it puts back all my old files on my iphones.
I'm pretty desperate and any tips would help me a lotIf I understand you correctly, you purchased two albums directly from your iPhone and have successfully transferred the purchases to your iTunes library, but now you want to remove these two albums from your iPhone but having trouble, correct?
If so, you can manually delete the albums (song-by-song) by sliding your finger across each song's name, from left to right, then select the Delete button.
Or, while your iPhone is connected to iTunes click on the Music tab that you see in iTunes (where you specify what items to sync to your iPhone). At the bottom of that window (below Playlists, Genre, etc.) you'll see songs that are "manually" added to your iPhone, just un-check those and re-sync. -
i own a ipod touch and a ipad2g but i lost my ipod touch and downloaded the find iphone app on my ipad and when i opened the app my ipod touch wasnt even listed on it as one of my products but i use the same apple id for all of my products??!! Please Help
Ive never used that but I think there is a find ipod app. But im not sure. The ipod might have had to have it on?

Why are the apps on my IPad scattered across the whole thing and when I open them they turn to little rectangles in the corner of the screen and I can't even use them or tap on anything. Also when I turn my iPad it doesn't flip the screen over.
Hi The next thing to do is to Restore back to Factory Settings this will get rid of any bugs . After Restore use same Apple ID /Password then you should get all your Apps & data back If you still have this problem make an Appointment at Apple Store . Cheers Brian

I upgraded the iphone software to 4.2.8 and none of the purchased apps would open. I then restored the software and now all those apps are GONE. How do I get them back?

When I updated my iPhone to iOS 6.1.3, somehow the iTunes App did not make it back to my iPhone. So, I now have an iPhone without the iTunes App. All other apps are on my iPhone. How do I get back my iTunes App, so I can continue buying music and flix?
Check the General -> Restrictions settings and see if perhaps the iTunes app is turned off there. If not, the app may have been inadvertently moved to another home screen or dropped into a folder. Do a search for the app or try resetting the Home screen layout: Choose General > Reset, then tap Reset Home Screen Layout.

I took some videos using my iPhone 5c and uploaded them to my computer. I can play the videos in iPhoto, but when I open them in QuickTime, they are dark and silent. Why can't I see them in QuickTime?
Make a temporary, backup copy (if you don't already have a backup copy) of the library and apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Select the options identified in the screenshot.
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
Download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
Click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option
In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments but not books, calendars or slideshows. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

Since last update of Pages, my Pages app in iPad anda iPhone doesn't open, it closes suddenly. I already deleted it and reinstalled, but still not works.

ThanksThis is my problem that has to originate from the update. So glad that I did not purchase a MacBook! Apple products/apps are appearing to be not different from Windows products.
I have deleted and reinstalled from the device and desktop, resets, etc. When I uninstalled and reinstalled while connected to my desktop, the older version of pages was installed. I was able to see all of my files that were saved to the cloud. I was forced to update again to access any of the saved files. Once updated again, I could no longer open pages. It began, to open and abruptly shut down. -

If you have failed to make sure that any apps purchased on the iphone were transferred to your computer before updating, then you will have to redownload.

These question marks are on your dock? And you can't open applications from your dock?
If so, try this: Open a new finder window and navigate to the Applications folder in your hard disk. The applications in question should still be in there (the Applications folder). So drag each of the application icons that you want to be available on your dock from the Applications folder onto your dock, one by one. Take each of your question mark icons that are on the dock and drag them off the dock to get rid of them. See if that fixes you up.
Now, if your hard disk no longer has an Applications folder in it, or the Applications folder is empty, you are going to have to reinstall OS 10.6 then do a software update to bring you back up to OS 10.6.8. You may be able to just go to the "optional installs" folder on the installer DVD and maybe all the stock applications are there -- I don't remember and I don't have an installer DVD handy to look. That would be way easier than doing a full blown OS reinstall. Also, as I recall, if OS 10.6 was on the computer when you bought it from the store, I think there should be an "extras" DVD that has a handful of applications that could be reinstalled from it, too.
