Is the address on your iTunes account exactly the same (format and spacing etc) as on your credit card bill ? If it's not then that might be the reason that you are getting the security code error : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646 ? If it is then you could try what it says at the bottom of that page :
If the issue persists, contact your credit card company and verify that they and any company they use to process credit card authorizations have the correct information on file.
And/or try contacting iTunes support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Express Lane, then iTunes > iTunes Store

Since updateing from iOS5.1.1 to 6.0 the button for downloading an app (either 'FREE' or '$xx.xx') remains greyed out.
Please help.If you have iOS 4.2.1 or later on the iPod and there was version compatible with that version, then you should be able to get a compatible version by:
App Store: Downloading Older Versions of Apps on iOS - Apple Club
App Store: Install the latest compatible version of an app
You first have to download the non-compatible version on your computer. Then when you try to purchase the version on your iPod you will be offered a compatible version if one exists. -

Are you putting in the address where the bank sends the monthly statement?
Apple's servers are very picky about the format of the address. If you live in the USA, then the server is expecting the style that the US Postal Service uses. One way to do this is to use the USPS ZIP Code lookup service;

Enter the address to look up the ZIP code and then copy the exact USPS output into your iTunes account information. -

What does "new actualization" mean?
Do you have Restrictions set that world prevent installing those apps? Settings>General>Restrictions -

Ok, so I tried purchasing a item in a game I have (not knowing how much I have in my bank account). App Store denied it so I'm like ok whatever I don't care. Well now whenever I try to download free apps or eve. Update apps I already have the store makes me sign in, and wants me to update my billing information because there was an error with my last purchase because it didn't go through. Ok why is it doing this? It didn't go through I don't care I just wanna update my apps and be able to download free Apps without having to update my information then apple charging for something I don't want anymore.... Can anyone tell me how to fix this? I already tried removing the card! I don't have a "none" option when I try to remove it so... Yeah
You must have a valid form of payment on your account even for updates and free apps.

okay so i used a visa gift card i had gotten as a payment method to use to download music on itunes and then finally it ran out of money. then later when i tried to download an app it said "sign in required" so i signed in then it said my payment method isnt working but i have no other meathod and i cant cancel the one i have so i tried again and it keeps saying the same thing.. it wont let me download anything.. what do i do?
You probably have a past due balance in the iTunes store. If so, you'll have to enter a new payment type, or use an iTunes gift card to resolve the outstanding balance before you can proceed to download free apps, or install app updates.

I searched 'computer' in the app store, and it shows apps so that you can connect to your computer. But when I tap on one, it starts to show the description, then it closes the app store. I've tried other apps of that kind, same thing. I tried seeing the description to a game app and it showed me. But when I searched it, it closed. Ive had problems since iOs 6 with an app closing unexpectedly. Such as a game or safari. I kind the liked ios 5 game center better. Nothing to do about that though. Any solutions?
It closes the app store if I want to see the description of anything i searched.

Create a NEW account using these instructions. Make sure you follow the instructions. Many do not and if you do not you will not get the None option. You must use an email address that you have not used with Apple before.

Make sure your date, time, and time zone are correct in Settings > General > Date & Time.
