Arabic Language Pack in WebCenter Interaction

WebCenter Interaction comes with default translations pack, but Arabic is not among those languages, however other WebCenter suite products has Arabic out of the box.
This Thread is made to ask people who faces the same trouble and made some translation and made the Arabic Language Pack, to share their resources -if possible- and to point to main guidelines point into encoding or other troubles they may faced in the way...
Thanks

You'll have to take the phone into a Nokia Care Point. The software needed to install a language pack is not available to end users such as yourself, only to Nokia staff. In theory, even stores shouldn't be able to use it and I'm betting Arabic support will disappear from your brother's 5530 when he updates the firmware (read here to find out why).

  • Nokia 225 Arabic Language Pack

Is it possible to add the arabic language pack to the nokia 225? My mother just bought a new nokia but she loves arabic and it is necessary that she can read it on her phone. If not, could someone suggest a simple nokia (not smartphone) with the arabic preinstalled. The product code of the phone is 059V5W8. Thanks.

With a Nokia Series 30+ (MediaTek) based phone like yours, the set of languages depend on the firmware variant. The firmware variant is identified through the Nokia Product Code which is printed on the label on the phone (059…). You have a phone designated for Germany. If you had 059V5Z3 for example, you would get the Arabic language. However, you might loose other languages this way, like German. Which languages do you need?
Officially, only a Nokia Care Center is able to change the firmware variant, officially.

Both Apple iPhone and Windows Phone can be used as feature phones, when you disable the mobile data. Apple iPhone comes with all languages preinstalled and costs around 280 € new. With a Windows Phone, you need a Wi-Fi once to download additional languages – this can be done directly from its user-interface. I recommend to start with the Nokia Lumia 730, because of its compass sensor for pedestrian navigation – which starts at 180 € currently.

  • Arabic Language for Nokia 808 PureView US version

    Hi guys,
I got my new Nokia 808 PureView (US version) from amazon.com. I want to add Arabic language to it. Is there any way to do it?
    Thanks,

Yes there is. You will need to visit your local Nokia Care point and they will add the Arabic language pack to your phone. Be advised that the language pack will be removed in the event that you update the phone or perform a full factory reset.
Only Nokia Care can add the language packs because there is special software needed which only they legally possess.

  • Arabic Language gone after updating - 5610 Express...

    Hu guys ,
This is my first paricipation in this forum , and I hope you are helping me out
I have Xpress Music 5610 , and I've just updated through the update installer . However , I can not write in Arabic letters any more .
    The version of the update is V.10.00    /     06-03-09       /   RM-242
    PLEASE guys ,
If any one has any idea wher i can write in arabic again ...please share it with us

It seems that the Arabic Language was not pre-installed in your Phone but was added by the retailer..The phone is originally meant for other region but the retailer must have got it from Grey market to earn some extra money..
The only solution to this is to visit Nokia Care and tell them to install the Language pack.
Note that any future firmware update will again result the same and the Arabic language pack will require re-install at Nokia Care..

I bought nokia 5800 xpressmusic from kuwait and it doesn't support the arabic language in the menu & user interferance & it supports the arabic only in sms messages and contacts (phone book) can I download arabic language pack for it at home ,please reply soon.

Salams, if you bought it in Kuwait, you will need to go to the regional dealer there. I think they have a couple dealers in Sharq Mall and one in the Marina Mall. This is your best bet to get what you want.

  • Update N73 with Arabic Language

    Hi all,
This is the first time for me on this Nokia discussion board.
My asking about how to update my phone N73 languages with Arabic language which is not included into the original setting for the phone software, in other words how to add the Arabic language to N73 phone?
    Need a quick reply
    Thanks in advance
    Tamer

Normally, phones are provided with languages for the country or region where it was intended to be sold, but sometimes the retail trade moves phones about before they are sold to the public, so it is possible that you have a phone that was not intended for an Arabic country.
A Nokia service point may be able to add the arabic language pack.

  • Language Pack Question

I live in Egypt and I am currently in SIngapore. I am looking to pick up an x6. I was told that it is a European phone officially unlocked. The sales man said that I can install the Arabic language pack on it. Is this true? I am buying it for a friend who speaks very little English so it is important that I can install the Arabic Language. Pack for him. Can I download and install or does nokia have to do this for me?
I know nothing about this phone and don't want to buy it and for it not to be able to install the Arabic pack.
    Thanks.

if arabic is not on phone you would need to send it to a nokia care centre and they can install it
If  i have helped at all a click on the white star below would be nice thanks.

  • Arabic Language to 5800 Express Music !!!

My Phone is 5800 Express Music is not spported my native Language "Arabic" How can i add it to my phone?!
    Best Regards

You can't add it to the phone yourself. Language packs are not available to end-users.
You have to take your phone into your nearest Nokia Care Point and ask them to install an Arabic language pack.

  • I am unable to type in Arabic in Word, how do i install a "language pack"?, I am unable to type in Arabic in Word, how do i install a "language pack"?

I need to be able to type in Arabic on my macbook. I figured out how to change my typing language into Arabic but as soon as I type a word into a word document, I hit the space bar and it moves all the letters around. I was told by the help desk at my university it is because I do not have a "language pack" installed - whatever that means.
    Help!
    passiondropp.

No version of MS Word for OS X has ever supported Arabic, Hebrew, or any Indic script.  You must use another app.  Mellel is the best.  Also TextEdit, OpenOffice, Nisus Writer.
