is there any other way to get Adobe Captivate specific help? I've posted a question twice with no help, it's very specific, so no one here might actually know the solution. I'm wondering though, since the chat is obviously not for Captivate users with product or service questions.
Is there a tech team I can somehow contact? We really need an answer to the problem.

We publish mp4 training videos as HTML5 content and have the problem that we need to restrict the player to only play/pause.
Adobe Captivate 7 works fantastic for us on almost all devices, many Androids, many browsers, and even on iPad. Captivate, after adding the video as a multi-slide video to one slide and publishing it as HTML5 content, only lets the student play and pause the video - just what we need.
But then we test it on iPhone and the iPhone's internal quicktime player recognizes the mp4 video and kicks in, gives the student all the functions they want, totally overrides the HTML5 published Captivate restricted playback options.
Is there ANY way we can get around that? Any function or box we haven't checked before publishing the HTML5 content?
We would even be happy, if the video wouldn't play on iPhone - just as long as they can't use it to fast forward to the end of the video.
Does anyone here know how to bypass the internal iPhone 5 player?

my new iphone was stolen today. I'm trying to track it via icloud but it shows the average ratio that the phone is disconnected. Are there any other way to track the phone. Thanks for your help.
If the phone is turned off, doesn't have an internet connection, or has been restored preventing "Find my iPhone" from being able to work, there is no other way to track it.

You are making no sense at all, are you using Lion or Snow Leopard,? did you try BobTheFishermans sugegstion for booting into OSX, please answer the questions rather than your current approach. -

Due to poor broadband speed -less than 1/2 meg- updates for my IPod touch are scheduled to take up to 9 hours!. The system usually time out. Is there some other way to recieve update?

I am away from home on holiday and all my contacts on my iPad have disappeared. I have tried a hard reset but they have gone. Is there anything else that can be done other than waiting until I get home to my main pc?
Upon purchase of my iPad 2 I began saving contacts to my IPad Contacts application that is already set up upon purchase of iPad 2. I then learnt about synching ( push ) my Gmail contacts to the Ipad 2 contacts 'exchange'. I did this happily and was very pleased with the results however when synching the first time I chose not to delete my iPad 2 contacts I had began saving upon purchase. This meant upon opening 'contacts' I had three choices 'iPad contacts', 'Exchange contacts' or 'All contacts'. There is no way to save ipad contacts directly to the 'Exchange contacts' it has to be saved into a file or vcard and then imported in using e-mail or a PC.
A few days in to using push/exchange I also added calendar and notes to the push/exchange as I was happy with the contacts and e-mail. I did notice some glitches since doing using push/exchange although I think it began when initially I began pushing contacts/mail there may be a slight chance that it began when I turned on calendar and notes facility to the push/exchange. The glitches that began meant sudden blinking during or after saving in calendar, contacts and notes. Sometimes this would mean the item added was there but also sometimes it would mean that it was not. Also double entries began arriving on both m iPad and in my Gmail Contacts online. These were a mix of contacts that I had and had not not created or edited since acquiring my iPad 2 so the was no pattern or obvious reason. They were all also a mix of contacts from different groups saved in my Gmail contacts.
Today suddenly whilst adding a contact the contacts blinked shut again. I re-opened to see what had happened wondering if my contact had been saved or not however not only did what I add not get saved but all approx 500 contacts from both my iPad contacts and my Exchange Contacts vanished from my iPad 2. I opened and closed the contacts to see if they would return but there was nothing. I also hibernated and then later shut down and restarted the iPad many times to no avail. I checked my Gmail Contacts account and thankfully all my contacts were still there. However, it was still extremely frustrating to have everything vanish from my iPad and then not just come back from there especially as he e-mails and calendar seemed to be still working fine with Exhange/push. Also, why had the contacts saved to the IPad contacts directly vanished also ?!! For a £800 gadget not including accessories it really is unacceptable !!!
Finally what worked for me was going to 'Settings', then going to 'mail,contacts,calendars' and then selecting the 'exchange' account and then switching 'contacts' to 'off', then I selected 'delete' iPad contacts i.e delete the contacts saved in the iPad contacts group however with nothing there to lose this time and having a feeling that perhaps that may have contributed to the issues/glitches and this contacts vanishing I clicked on the 'delete'. I really do have a feeling that perhaps the issues may have been due to having two sets of contacts even though there were only a few there in the iPad before they vanished along with the Exchange contacts. I clicked 'done' and then I didn't hibernate the iPad 2 instead I shut it completely down.
Upon restarting my iPad 2 I went to see if the contacts had returned but unfortunately once again they had not. I returned to 'settings', then 'mail,contacts,calendars' and then selected 'exchange' from accounts and switched 'contacts' back on i.e enabled this once again and clicked done. I then once again switched off ( shut down ) my iPad 2 and waited a while. Upon restarting I again went back to contacts and found some of my contacts finally arrive but not all. My 'push/'fetch' for exchange is set to every 15 minutes and every push/fetch showed me more and more contacts until finally I had all but one which has still not showed up ! However, I am once again happy and this time I only have one contacts group I.e for exchange and no separate iPad contacts to confuse me or iPad. I don't know if this will mean all will be okay now as I do feel like perhaps I cannot now trust iPad contacts and maybe need to print out everything and keep this on me also just in case. I'll keep you posted ! -

Hi, I came across my old N95 8GB and realised it has old sms messages from someone very close who passed away recently. I want to sell the phone but don't want to lose my messages.
The problem I have is that I have tried every method to do this but all fail.
I have tried Nokia PC suite - just keeps showing 0 messages even though there are hundreds on the phone itself. Same with conatcs just won't show up so I cant back them up but there on the phone itself. Tried all the reinstalling stuff and updates and so on but have had no luck
Nokia Lifeblog - Same thing, shows no contacts or sms
Nokia Suite - This throws an error when trying to read contatcs "Reading the phone failed - "Reading contacts from Nokia n95 8gb failed. Reconnect USB cable to your phone or connect via bluetooth. Error code:80700004"
When viewing messages it just shows 0. I was able to view pics but nothing else.
I tried using xplore to manually find them but not sure where they are, I found private folders but they all seem confusing. I 've done a soft reset, restarts, everything.
Can anyone give me any ideas how I can save these old sms messages even if its just on my pc, I just don't want to lose them. Any help would be appreciated.peterman50,

First, sorry to hear about your loss. Is the N95 8GB updated to the latest version? Maybe you can try removing the existing Nokia Suite and installing an older version which is version 7.1.180.94. Make sure you run the software "as administrator" on Windows 7 and 8 and when the phone prompt, choose Nokia PC suite mode.
If that does not help, try to back it up using bluetooth - dongle via pc or connection through a bluetooth enabled laptop.

So some tool stole my phone right out of the locker room today. This dude turned the phone off as soon as he could, so all I have is "offline" displaying next to the phone in "Find my iPhone". Is there anything else I can do to track it? It's 2014 and we're dealing with the most advanced smartphone on the market right now.

JohnathanThe good news is that with Find My iPhone and iOS 7, the device will be protected by Activation Lock. Go ahead and enable Lost Mode via icloud.com and Find My iPhone, and you can enter a custom message as well. Even if he restores the device 'as new' via iTunes, he won't be able to bypass iOS 7's Activation Lock.

My account was charged for buying app that I actually didn't buy. I was trying to sort out these mistake by calling the support number given (Russia). There was no other options like sending an email or calling some other number. I was on hold for one hour and a half! Is that normal for Apple support??? So apart from being charged for the app I haven't given my permission to buy, I also got a phone bill for calling the only support number available. Where can I submit my complain and what could be done about it?

Is there any other way to get the downloads from the support section?
Because the download speed is very slow. For example in need the new version from the Value Added Package, and its 116 MB big. A normal download time would be about 5 - 10 minutes. But when i download it from Toshiba I need 2 - 6 hours. Not good for a company that makes high performance computers and notebooks.
And the worst thing is that the connection is reseted after some hours...so I'll never get the update.
Does anyone know help?

I can understand you very well because few days ago i have installed Vista Ultimate on my brand new Satellite A200. Unfortunately I am afraid there is no much to do. You know very well that since Vista OS is on the market, thousands of people want to downgrade OS to WXP or update to Vista ultimate.
I am really not wondering that download is so slow. I have noticed that download speed is much better early morning and maybe you should download all stuff you need at this time. Save all this stuff for further handling.

My iPhone's touch screen recently quit working, so I have a new one on the way so I tried to back-up my phone on my laptop and it will not connect. I've tried restarting the Apple Mobile Device services and that didn't work. So I completely unistalled iTunes using Apple's instructions and re-installed it and it still will not connect, and I don't use iCloud because the iPhone is my only Apple device. Is there any other way to get things off of my iPhone or is it all pretty much gone?
You need to get iTunes to recognize it. If your iPhone is working, which it is not, then a new screen would help. But you iPhone is broken beyond just a new screen. Now you can see why iCloud or even an iTunes Back Up is so important. iCloud back up is ideal for you, a one Apple device person, it automatically backs up your iPhone so there is a current back up ready to use anytime, especially in emergency like this. When you get your new iPhone, iPad anything use iCloudl it is free and simple.
