Aren't I supposed to be able to view albums covers?

I've loaded up my Nano, but iTunes didn't load the album cover images to go with them. Anyone have a clue why? Is it because the songs were loaded from CD? That shouldn't matter should it???

Here are a couple of methods.
First off, make sure you have "show album art" enabled in iPod options.  Go to Google Image Search and type in the artist/album name and click on search images.   Double click on a picture you like, then at the top of that page click on "see full size image".   When you get that image, simply copy/paste it into the space for album artwork in iTunes.   Make sure you select the album in the browser of iTunes before you copy/paste.   You'd be surprised what Google Images can bring up. There are literally millions, and even obscure album artwork can be found.
In the unlikely event that Google can’t find an image, you can also get artwork from Amazon.
If you’re happy using images from Amazon, and don’t want to copy/paste, then iTunes Art Importer is a nice free program to do it for you.

When playing music on my ipad the screen freezes and i am not able to view album covers or make any changes i am only able to hear what i selected.
This is the third time it has happened since i updated to the new IOS 5.1. It never happened before.
If i go to Summary and restore the ipad to the factory settings then i'm able to run it as normal.
Is this a glitch in the new software,or a problem with my ipad?

I'm finding Multicam, combined with Compound Clips to be extrememly efficient.
I started with 2 different video clips, along with 2 different audio clips.
Layed out both clips side by side (visually, they are on top of each other on the timeline),and made that a single compound clip.
Then I laid out both audio clips on top of each other on the timeline and made those a compound clip.
So now I have
2 original individual Video shots
1 compound video shot of the 2 above side by side.
2 original audio tracks
1 compound audio track
Next I made a multicam track, and added to it all 3 video shots (2 original + 1 compound) And I added the compound audio track. I set that audio track to be "the" track.
It's just a little bit of setup, but really not that bad, and the ability to use the multicam feature to switch between shots, while keeping everything in sync is fantastic!

Has anyone checked out the latest iTunes update where you are supposed to be able to view your wish list from your music library?

I updated my iMac yesterday to check out this new feature, but I can't seem to figure out how it works. Can anyone tell me how to view my wishlist from my music library. I restarted my computer, but that didn't work either. I'm obviously missing something. Otherwise, accessing my wishlist just works like it always did. I would appreciate some input on this.

This new iTunes update *****! I know you are featuring the iCloud ****, but My God. You Have taken over the local browsers. I can't even add art work independently to my songs. Not being able to view album art in the side bar is a huge programing gaff.

hi i had the same problem today when i updated my itunes to latest version. however, i have just found my songs in the 'itunes media' folder. this was accessed through 'my music' then keep clicking through until you find itunes media and all my library songs were in there and i then just added these files to my library and all were restored however, i have lost all my playlists but at least my 700 songs are back. very dissapointed with apple that they have let this happen with their latest update, the previous version was miles better than this one . hope you find them. stevo

Tom is right. Codecs are shared software system-wide ("Core Video"). If you cannot find the option with any software (such as MPEG Streamclip), you won't find it in Compressor or FCPX either. The Quicktime ProRes codecs is part of the FCP menu > "Download Additional Content" you need to make after install FCPX (or Compressor.) These "pro video" codecs are part of all "ProApp" licenses for video related software from Apple (QT7Pro, Motion, Compressor, Final Cut, etc....) [you can also download them here: http://support.apple.com/kb/dl1396]
Most articles/tutorials you read by "long time" users are apt to assume the reader has been working with pro-video on Macs since the days of disk installs (like they have). In those days, the installation of those codecs wasn't even really an option (well, it was if you did a custom install - but who *didn't* install all available codecs??), it was automatically installed with the main software. Since the "App Store" venue... things have changed somewhat.

Just "ctrl" and mouseclick the desired icon and select "Remove from Sidebar" from the little pop up window.. That should do the trick (in your vertical "PLACES" column)
NB: if you want to get rid of icons on the top (horizontal) bar of your finder window, then you need to go to the item with the mouse, press "cmd" ("apple" key) and drag the icon off the finder window onto your desktop and let go (if you want the "Pouf!" effect

I'm a bit confused... I'm reading the April edition of Mac Life, and on page 84 under the ASK section somone has asked if they can use Time Machine to backup their files wirelessly over their network to a hard disk plugged into their Airport Extreme Base Station. According to the reply from the magazine the answer is no. The machine can backup to another volume on the network, but not to a USB hard drive connected to the router says the reply.
I'm doing that exact thing with no problem. I have a MacBook connecting wirelessly to my Airport Extreme Base station. I have a USB hub connected to the base station, to which I have connected TWO USB hard drives and a printer. I am able to backup with Time Machine with no problem.
Am I suppose to be able to do this, or was the magazine incorrect?

Well interestingly enough, apparently you can. I have been waiting for this new revision to come out in order to see if that would be possible. It would make my MacBook Pro truly wireless. Although it seems the feature is a secret at the moment, MacWorld published an article about it:

In the evaluation mode im nt able to view my ocr result for more than 2 seconds

im doing my final year project on image processing using labview 2010(evaluation). im using a microsoft webcam(VX-700). my objective is character recognition using vision. im able to capture an image and store the same. the software also recognizes the characters after training the characters in vision assistance. but im not able to view the result string for more than 5 seconds. i really want to have some support regarding this issue. i've attached the program what i've used with this message. plz do help me with this issue asap.

Our network is very stable and we aren't seeing any problems with anything else and besides, these worked fine until we did the update.
The wifi access point is in the same room about 6-8 ft. away and it's kind of hard to connect an appletv by ethernet to an iPad.
The appletv runs fine using it's built in applications, like Netflix, Disney, Radio, etc.
All of this makes me think it's not a wireless problem, but it's something in the appletv software after doing the update that won't hold the iPad connection.
I appreciate your suggestions and will pass your information along to our network person.
Any other ideas?

Not Able To View Data in Web Service Model

   I m trying to view a table using web service model.
   When i write the same code for binding it to context , i m able to view its data.
   But not so while using Web Service Model(not adaptive web service model).
   The code is:

Is there a way in Pages to show and print all the added "comments?" (those you add by highlighting text) I am a teacher, and I would like students to be able to view my comments on printed versions of their papers. I know word displays the comments off to the side of the document, and those comments can be viewed all at once and printed alongside the document.

There doesn't appear to be a way to print conmments in either Pages or Numbers in the Mavericks versions.

In IPhoto '08, Photos under Library, I'm no longer able to view a screen of thumbnails. I'm only able to view a single photo at one time. This was not true in the past.

Not able to view photos in my online albums

The pictures in my albums that I have uploaded using iweb have not been clickable for almost two weeks now. I have re-uploaded as well and no luck. Anyone else having this issue and what is the hold up here?
I run a photography business, so clients not being able to view my pictures is a huge problem.

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. Try making some minor change to each page, move a text box a couple of pixels or something like that, and republish. That has fixed the problem for many of us.
Also, are you aware that using MobileMe for commercial purposes is against the Terms of Use for MobileMe. Not that Apple has pulled any sites that we know of. You might look at using a commercial site hosting service since they will have undoubtedly faster load times and be more reliable. MobileMe has so much overhead in the form of server side software for all the bells and whistles provided with an account that is is much slower. Just a thought.

Not able to view CrystalReportViewer in Azure Application.

Hi All,
We have an application which was developed in VS 2005 with .Net framework 2.0 and crystal report version 10.
We have migrated this application to azure using VS 2013 with .Net framework 4.5 and crystal report version 13.2.
We have included the Crystal report msi in the package for deploying it on azure.
We have used the CrystalReportViewer on one of the page in our application to view the reports but we are not able to view it.
