Article preview not working in iPhone App
I have free articles available for preview before you hit a paywall and have to pay for the app. This works fine in my universal app on ipad, but on iphone the preview button does not appear. Please help
Thanks for the reply Bob. But that is crazy! Our app relies on the user being able to see some of the content for free! In the case of this guide we've produced, the iPhone audience is potentially bigger than the iPad one. Please consider stronger iPhone support (including standalone iPhone apps)

Appletv remote app and airplay not working with iphone 4S
I have the latest appleTV. I have the remote app loaded onto my ipad3 and iphone 4S. The app is not working with iphone 4S, nor do I get the airplay icon, hence I can't mirrior my phone on appleTV. It used to work. I have deleted and reloaded the app, and still nothing. It worked fined until a month ago or so. I have enabled home sharing.
The app and airlplay are working just fine with the ipad3. I have the ipad and appleTV hooked up to my router using 5Ghz, and the iphone only connects to the 2Ghz network on the same router. I don't think this is the issue, because it worked before.
Also, when I click on the remote app on the iphone, to add an itunes library, a code pops up on the phone, which I enter into itunes on my Win7 PC. Nothing seems happed on the computer when I enter the code. Could this have anything to do with recent appleTV or itunes updates? Any possible solutions?It seems like I am having the same problem.
I have the latest AppleTV 1080, imac 27", ipad, ipad2, 2 iphone 4, all with the latest iOS. After I have the AppleTV connected, a few problems showed up:
(1) ipad plus iphones cannot airplay photo to AppleTV. After the play button and the grey screen displayed "the playing msg on AppleTV", nothing happened. it is the same for ipad/iphone.
(2) iMac not Airplay to AppleTV
(3) Airplay Mirroring not working
The following are done:
- Home sharing enabled
- To test the devices are connected. I set a passowrd for Airplay and the ipad/iphone both requested for it so they are network and devices are ok -

Double tap Home button and delete Camera app from multitask-list.

Check Settings > General > Restrictions, and check out Contacts toward the bottom under the privacy restrictions.
That sounds like the probable cause you cannot add contacts.
Regarding the iCloud behavior, that sounds like it got huge (35,000) because of incorporating other contacts (from social media, perhaps). Also contacts sync has nothing to do with iCloud behavior. The whole idea of keeping your contacts in the cloud is that once you change them on one device, they change everywhere. Specific syncs are not relevant. -

Try deleting the cache associated with the App Store..
Quit the App Store if it's open.
Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type this exactly as you see it here:
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.appstore/Cache.db
Click Go
Move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Relaunch the App Store. See if that made a difference. -

I had the same problem and after a lot of research here and on Verizon I finally discovered that it was an app named Onavo Extend that was preventing my voicemail from working. Other people have had success resetting their phone or network settings, disabling and reenabling SIRI, or deleting the Neilsen app (which I didn't have) but those options didn't work for me. A lot of mods have claimed that this is not an Apple problem but if it is caused by an app that Apple allows to be sold in their app store, then it is an Apple problem, not a carrier problem. Of course, sometimes its just an ID 10 T problem.

My first thought is to make sure that you are actually logged in using the same AppleID on both devices. Many folks share one AppleID for their family's iTunes Store account yet use another personal AppleID to log into iMessage settings and iCloud settings.
To confirm that the AppleID and password you are using is correct I would suggest visiting http://icloud.com and attempting to login there. If you get in, then you know for sure that that is a valid AppleID/password pair.
If that still doesn't reveal the issue then I would try opening Notes app on both iPhones, and then typing your password out where it can be seen clearly. This may reveal if your are typing it differently due to iOS 8 changes in the shift key indicator, or possibly that a screen protector or case is causing your touches to not register the same on both devices.
I hope these suggestions help. -
What to do when you get "iTunes library app not installed on iPhone; app could not be found". None of the Apple suggestions fix the problem. For example, with Animoto, one of the problem apps, I have removed it, reinstalled it, and still get the eoor message.

First of all, this started when an external drive i was using died on me. I have no doubt that these apps indeed are off my system. I figure between the apps I've bought for myself and my kid, I have about 150 apps.
Now. The issue.
When I sync my iPad with iTunes on my desktop, it goes through normally until it gets to the apps. When that happens, it get an error box that reads "Some of the apps in your iTunes library were not installed on the iPad because one or more errors occurred. For a list of appps that could not be installed, click on the triangle below."
Then I get a list of apps.
(Added note to any iTunes developers out there: The titles of the apps in this list do not always match the titles of the apps in the App Store. For example, one was called "MuseumGame" on my iPad. It's called "Museum of Thieves" on the App Store. I started out with a list of 60 apps. It was a major pain to track them all down. It would be nice to have everything the same so I can use the App Store search more effectively.)
Anyway, moving on....
The error message stops my sync until I dismiss it. That, honestly, is what makes this whole thing annoying enough to seek out an answer. I can't let my iPad start syncing and walk out of the room. Yeah. I know. First World problems.
Once I dismiss the error, the sync continues and all is well.
I did the following to try to fix the problem. Mostly, I did a lot of searches:
My list of purchased apps on my iPad both using the search box and by going to every page
Searched the main App Store on my iPad using the search field. When that didn't work, I used wider searches and just scanned the page(s) for the little cloud icon that showed I had purchased the app.
I got on my desktop iTunes and searched the apps from there (without a lot of hope, but trying to be complete)
At that point, I came to the conclusion that a small number of the apps are no longer available on the App Store.
Fine. I didn't want them anyway.
I got into iTunes and went to the Apps page. None of the errant apps showed up there. I searched the iTunes help files. Nothing. I crossed my fingers, said a little prayer to the search engine gods, and tried Google. I found some things that sort of matched but they basically boiled down to "re-download the app from the App Store" or "Restore your iPad".
So I spent a couple of hours restoring my iPad. I got the error message again. I hit Google again and came up with this thread. It was as close to my problem as I found.
I think that brings us up to date.
My fundamental problem is that I seem to have found a scenario where if you have to restore apps (because, perhaps, your external drive died) and some of the apps are no longer available for download, there is an error generated that can not be permanently dismissed.
