Artwork showing in Podcast App but not iTunes Store

I updated my podcast art recently as I've had a site redesign, and typically now, the podcast artwork is not showing up in the iTunes Store. What's peculiar however is that if I subscribe to one of the podcasts in the iOS Podcast App, the artwork shows up no problem. This leads me to believe that the feeds are working fine, therefore I can't see the issue?
The affected feeds are http://dyhamb.com/rss_itunes.php, /rss_too.php, /rss_tcr.php and /rss_asf.php. Anybody have any ideas?

I checked the first URL - you have an image correctly referenced in the feed and present on the server. The Store can sometimes be quite slow to show images so I'm afraid it's just a question of waiting.

  • When i click on itunes on my ipad2 i get the error ..'cannot connect to itunes store'...i'm able to access podcasts and itunesU but not itunes store. This is very strange as i can access app's store

when i click on itunes on my ipad2 i get the error ..'cannot connect to itunes'...I'm able to access podcasts and itunes U but not itunes store..my apps store and safari are also working perfectly but don't know whats the issue with i tunes store...i use an airtel broadband connection through a wifi router..pls help

I was having this problem. The settings on my wireless router was set to hide my IP address so it wouldn't connect. When I changed that, I connected no problem. While this is annoying since I don't want my IP address to be out there, I just switch my router when I need to connect to the App/iTunes Store. Hope this helps. It worked for me.

  • How can I sync a podcast in iTunes to Podcasts app, but not Music app

When I first got the podcast app I had three podcasts set to sync to my iPhone. Two were podcasts I'm subscribed to via iTunes Music Store and one is a podcast downloaded from a website as individual files (I changed the type to Podcast). The first time I lauched the Podcasts app all of them were there and I was happy. Even though they were now in my Podcasts app I subscribed to them from the app (except for the one that I didn't get from iTunes) I then turned off podcast syncing in iTunes so it wouldn't sync podcasts to both my Music app and my Podcasts app. Maybe this wasn't necessary but I didn't want duplicates and I found nothing online telling me if syncing would result in two copies or not so I chose to turn it off.
Now I've listened to all of the episodes of the one I downloaded from a website and I want to put more, newer episodes of it on my iPhone. However, I can't figure out how to get them from iTunes to the Podcasts app. The only thing I can think of would be to turn on syncing again but as mentioned above, I'd like to leave syncing off.
    Any help appreciated.

Unfortunately since the Podcast App is not part of iTunes, you cannot sycn from iTunes.  You have to subscribe to the podcast from inside the Podcast App.
Do this by clicking on the gear in the top right hand corner. Then turn "Subscription" on.  While you're here decide with order you want to sort them, oldest or newest first.  Be aware that, to my knowledge, your IOS device must be awake to download the podcasts you subscribe to.
To delete podcasts you've listened to, simply swipe from right to left on the podcast and tap on the delete button when it appears.  This is done by individually, just like in Mail. Unfortunately, there doesn't appear to be a way to select multiple episodes to delete at once.

  • Ipod showes up on windows but not itunes

I am having trouble getting my ipod synced back up with itunes. I have tried everything as far as uninstalling itunes and bonjour and all the others.I also tried updating drivers and a few other suggestions from tech support. I brought my ipod to a friends house and it showed up on his computer. So we tried to see if his ipod would show up on my itunes and it did. Also windows recognizes the ipod but something is keeping the itunes software on my computer from connecting to my ipod touch. Does anyone know why this might be happening? I have tried several places and everyone seems to be stumped.

  • Albums showing up in phone but not itunes

Years ago when is till have my iphone 4 I purchased several albums from itunes which has been saved into icloud. When i got my 5S I was able to download the albums from icloud to the new phone.
Problem I am having now is that the albums arent showing up in itunes when i sync it with the computer, nor does it show in purchases (which everything was purchased the came account). I need to get these albums off my phone.
I hate itunes complicated ways to store music. Nothing ever works like it should. It should be EASY for me to drag and drop items to my phone and remove them but apple makes it so hard!!!

    Hello there, SilverStarWing.
The following Knowledge Base article offers up some great recommendations for downloading past iTunes Store purchases:

One important thing to keep in mind, if the content is not available in the iTunes Store any longer, it won't be available to download.

  • Purchase showing up in iStore, but not iTunes...

I've downloaded a song from iTunes on my computer; it's showing up as a purchase on the iStore, but not in purchases on iTunes, so I can't put it on my device. What the **** is wrong with it, and for the love of god, how do I fix it?
    Thanks!
(my iTunes is old, by the way... I haven't updated it since the iOS came in, because my iTouch is a senior citizen)

  • Podcast Image Shows Up In Feed But Not In Store

I just got my Podcast approved this morning. All excited, I checked it in the Itunes Store and the artowrk is not there.
For some reason, when you subscribe, the image does shows up. So the feed has the image, just the Itunes store does not.
    Here is the Feed:
    http://jeffreybuettner.com/feed/podcast/
    Itunes Store Link:
    https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/running-with-real-estate/id805017790
Link to the 1400x1400 Image: http://jeffreybuettner.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/Running-With-Real-Estate-1 .png
    Thoughts?

The image is correctly referenced in your feed. It's quite normal for the image to take some days to show up in the Store after a new podcast as first appeared.

  • I live in Zambia and there is no itune store here.I just upgraded my ios and now i want to install apple apps but unfortunately itunes store cannot recognize Zambia in my billing plan.Somebody help because i need most of these apps which i have lost.

How can i have a billing plan if my country cannot be listed in itunes store. Is there any other way i could download apple apps without a billing plan?

The living issue is complex in my case. Legally speaking, I have no personal residence globally. I just live wherever my father goes, which is everywhere. I'm an expat and it seems that these sites aren't really expat-friendly. They seem to be built for localization and assume everyone stays in the same place.
I don't know what I'd be considered. I'm a US passport holder and live in China, but I only speak some Chinese and I can't read it (it using non-latin characters is just too much for my mind's memory to handle). Besides that, I'm not interested in popular Chinese apps. They tend to just be annoying and kooky and generic and put together badly, often full adware and spyware (speaking for most Chinese software, in fact). In fact, a lot of apps I want are illegal in China (YouTube, Facebook, etc) and I use a VPN to use the services. I assume I wouldn't find these apps on the Chinese store. In fact, last I checked, there wasn't many English apps on the Chinese app store. This is probably due to their strict moderation or something.
I've been going to international schools since I got here and college would be in English too. I can speak some Chinese, but not read it.
Well, I guess the answer is that I can't use the App Store in English. So I guess I'll just sign out everything on my phone involving my Apple account and just start using third-party tools to do my business.

  • Ipod nano shows in my computer but not ITunes

I have a windows xp and I have some Ipod 4s that i want to reset them and sell them. Whenever I connect either of the 3 of them, they all go on a dim screen that says 'do not dissconnect' and I can't do anything on them. If i go to my computer and eject them then I can go through the ipod but it still won't show up in ITunes. It will charge fine, that is no problem, I just can't get it to show up on itunes... Help please!

Hello, friend. You may try these steps.
    1. Update iTunes to the latest version. Plug in your iPod. If iTunes still can't recognize it, then in iTunes in the top left corner click help> run diagnostics. On the box that comes up, check the last two things. Click next and it should identify your iPod.
    2. Click on your windows start menu. Type in "services". Click on it and when it pops up, on the bottom of it click on "standard". Now Scroll down to find "Apple Mobile Device" Right click it when you see it and click on "Start". When it has started, close iTunes and replug in your iPod and it should show up.
    3. Check the USB cable
    4. Verify that Apple Mobile Device Support is installed
    5. Restart the Apple Mobile Device Service and verify that the Apple Mobile Device USB Driver is installed.
    6. If you just want to add some photos, songs and movies from computer to your devices, you can use an iTunes alternative to do the job
    7. Check for third-party software conflicts.
