Hi Ramesh,
According to me that is the correct, please check the below article (this is for 850)
https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/10b17369-9522-2c10-84a6-d75d8a8ace22
Check with BASIS people because it is related to the server and the developer may not access. before that check the connectivity b/w PI and the third party system.
Check this link
get "500 internal error" at creating Jco destination.
And Have a look into SAP Notes u2013 804124, 807000

** Seeburger AS2 Configuration in the Sender Side
Hi friends,
We are trying to receive Purchase Order from the Customer using Seeburger AS2 adapter. The customer is sending the PO to Inovis a solution provider and we need to receive this documents from Inovis. We need to configure AS2 adapter to receive the PO from Inovis.
How to configure AS2 adapter ?
Kindly reply friends.
Thanking youhi
I will give you the normal flow how the things works.
You need to deployee the seeburger conversion module on XI. Now in the AS2 adapter this module wil be called and which will does the conversion of EDI to XML.
In the AS2 module parameter tab you need to write the below entry.
Process Sequence :
localejbs/callBicXIRaBean bic
Module Configuration :
bic mappingName See_E2X_ORDERS_UN_D96A
AS2 adapter is used for B2B scenario so for this case you need to use the party concept and you need to maintain the identifier information of Partner which will going to send the EDI file to XI.
please look in to this links u will come to know about seeburger adapter.

Sender AS2 Configuration...
Hi All,
I am doing configuration on AS2 (AS2 -> File)..
We are getting the EDI Messages. Thru Sender AS2 CC, how to pick the messages into XI...
Please help me out ...
Thanks in advance..
Regards,
VasuHi,
I will tell you something about Seeburger Adapters in detail, Just see if it helps...
Seeburger EDI Adapter provides an EDI solution on internet via HTTP or AS2 to replace the expensive VAN. It provides some pre-built mappings for IDOC to ANSI X12(810,850,855,856 etc.,) and Idoc to EDIFACT(ORDERS,DESADV,INVOIC etc.,) and has the ability to build your own. These pre-defined mappings transform the IDOC-XML to EDI-XML format.
These transformed EDI-XML messages are then converted to EDI specific format using the Seeburger's BIC(Business Integration Converter)adapter. In addition, Seeburger provides adapters like AS2,FTP(EDI specific) and so on to route these EDI messages to external EDI Partners.
Seeburger EDI Adapter leverages SAP XI's Adapter Framework. This Adapter is used to perform conversion between EDI and XML format. It also provides some canned EDI layouts and the ability to build your own. It is used to transfer the EDI message via HTTP or AS2 protocols.
The most direct way of using the Seeburger adapters is to configure the BIC as a module. There is a software component from seeburger called bicmapper which will allow you to do the following:
1. define or import the inbound message metadefinition in various formats ( edifact, xml,...)
2. using a mapping create an xml variant as the output metadefinition or edifact in the other direction.
3. create a one to one mapping between input en output.
4. export the metadata in xsd or sda format for import in XI
5. generate an SDA which can be deployed in XI and used as a module.
Please go through the following links which clearly explains what you want and it also helps you in understanding the same in depth:

Idoc to Different Trading partners using AS2 Adapter
Hello experts,
I have a requirement where we have to send an Idoc to different trading partners using van.
On the receiver side AS2 adapters will be used. There are many trading partners here. Can someone guide me through? ..
The entire scenario will be done in SAP PO 7.4
Breaking the entire scenario in the following parts---
1)IDoc on sender side--What will be partner profile type? Will it LS or any other (BP, GP or KU??)
2)AS2 configuration details---AS2 adapter is available in the dropdown of adapter list. What are the config details for AS2?
3)Trading partner mechanism-How this can be achieved?..what this essentially achieves ? any step by step guide available? Does it take care of sending the Idoc only to VAN or sending Idoc to different trading partners directly bypassing VAN?
4)Is using NWDS suggestible?--Is it convenient?
Any help/step by step blog will be of great help.
If I miss anything in the entire scenario, please let me know
Thanks
Ayan ChaudhuriHi Ajay,
1)IDoc on sender side--What will be partner profile type? Will it LS or any other (BP, GP or KU??)
-->>The partner type is depend on your scenario. AS2 adapter is used for B2B communication and usually to vendor and customers.
This purchase Order should go to the particular vendor as a sales order. Then we use partner type as LI -- Vendor.
Similarly when we sell some materials to our customers, we create the Sales order to our customer. Then we use Partner type as KU - Customer
Partner Type GP---Business Partner
Partner Type KU---Customer
Partner Type LI---Vendor
Partner Type LS---Logical system
Partner Type US--User
2)AS2 configuration details---AS2 adapter is available in the dropdown of adapter list. What are the config details for AS2?
-->> to configure as2 connection you need following details from trading partner
AS2 ID
server address with URL extension
TP certificate
MDN address and type (Sync, asyn and signed or not signed)
Message communication encryption algorithm
Compression is required or not and if req. which algorithm to use
3)Trading partner mechanism-How this can be achieved?..what this essentially achieves ? any step by step guide available? Does it take care of sending the Idoc only to VAN or sending Idoc to different trading partners directly bypassing VAN?
-->> If you are communicating through VAN then you need to send the message to VAN and VAN will route the message to respective TP.
4)Is using NWDS suggestible?--Is it convenient?
-->> NWDS is another option to create scenario, it is depend on developer which one he want to use.

Hello!
Could anyone please help me with a AS2 configuration over HTTPs? We would like to send data to our partner.
When I am activating HTTPs I am getting the following screen:
Can anyone tell me which certificate is expected in the field "server certificate (keystore)"? Where should this certificate be stored?
Does anyone know where to find a documentation for AS2 over HTTPs?
Thank you!

ChristianHi Christian
If you want to be able to see the actual filenames in the audit log, you can use this neat trick Unknown use case of DynamicConfigurationBean: Store file name to JMS header without mapping by Stefan Grube
For this, you need to use a two step DynamicConfigurationBean instead of one, and use the write/read operations instead of the insert operation.
Your processing sequence would be like this:
1) Module name - AF_Modules/DynamicConfigurationBean, Module key - getFilename
2) Module name - AF_Modules/DynamicConfigurationBean, Module key - setAS2Filename
And the configuration parameters:
1) getFilename parameters:
key.0 write http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/File FileName
value.0 module.filename
2) setAS2Filename parameters:
key.0 read http://seeburger.com/xi/AS2 dtAS2FileName
value.0 module.filename
This will write and read the filenames from the DynamicConfiguration fields and store them into the adapter framework module variable. Note that the value in "value.0" can be any arbitrary value but needs to have the prefix "module.", example "module.var1"
Using this approach, you would be able to see that actual value from the dynamic configuration header being stored into the module variable. An example below (note again that my scenario is in the reverse order, i.e. AS2 File Name --> FTP File Name)

Hi,
I am facing an issue with connecting through AS2 server to PI server. Below is the scenario:
We receive different types of files from customer (EDI and Non EDI). We have maintained one configuration scenario (CS) for EDI and another one for non EDI. But there is only one Party. Two communication channels, one for EDI transactions and one for non EDI transactions.
I have configured the AS2 setup for EDI transaction and tested. It worked fine. Then I set up the AS2 configuration for Non EDI transaction. (basically two communication channels polling the same AS2 server). When I tested the setup using the stand alone tool i am getting the error as HTTP protocol error. 403 Forbidden.
It works fine if I set up the configuration for only one communication channel. Not working with both the configuration at the same time.
Is it because of two different configuration scenarios (two communincation channels) and same Party? Is there any configuration I need to set up for this scenario?
Please help.
Regards,
VasThe only option seems to be saving the file at some location and then pick them from there for differnt scenarios. If you go with this approach, you can use single communication channel towards AS2 sender partner. You may agree upon a message subject or AS2 Filename with your EDI partner and then based on Subject or Filename value, place the file in different directories or with different names. For this you may use Dynamic Configuration as I have explained here:
http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/XI/AttribMapper-AssignAS2Filename+Dynamically

AS2 setup -- AS2Receive Pipeline
Hi,
We have AS2 set up for communicating with some parties. For receiving the AS2 messages a HTTP receive location is configured, it uses AS2Receive and AS2Send pipeline.
I want to know how does AS2Receive pipeline decrypts the incoming message? How certificates are used to decrypt it? How can I find out which certificate is used for decryption, and where can I get that certificate?
Thanks, Girish R. Patil.Hi Girish,

Seeburger AS2 Certificates updates
Dear Experts,
We're having a problem to add in new certificates from our partner. For your info we're using Seeburger AS2 connect and no one knows how to update the certificates including our vendors. Please let me know how to update the certificates. Thank youHi,
if you are on PI 7.1x go to Netweaver Administrator (http://server:port/nwa)
Then go to Configuration Management --> Security --> Certificates and Keys
There you shold find several Key Stores ("Key Storage Views")
Select the Keystore which holds the AS2 certificates.
If you are not sure which one is the correct one, check your Sender/Receiver Agreements in the Integration Directory.
The certificates that you specified as TRUSTED\<keystore>\certificate-name in your AS2 configuration are the ones you have to change.
In the "Key Storage View Details" you can add, modify, delete,... the certificates.

We are getting the expected Structure when we AS2 Receiver has the xml format. But while doing module development with the strctxml2Plain, we are getting the below error in RWB CC Monitoring.

Any ideas, why this error we are getting.....

VasuHi Vasu,
Not in the Mapping of IR.
In BIC Mapping Designer you have to test with the standard Mappings by providing the sample file whether the Conversion is happening correctly or not.
You have to take the same input file that what ever you are having now.
So that it will say clearly what is the problem in converting the XMLto the required EDI Format...
Check whether you have any Date Format Values are comming from the input file.

XML message without encoding type
Hi,
Is there any possibility to generate the XML file without encoding?
Should convert <?xml version="1.0"; encoding="UTF-8"?> to <?xml version="1.0";?>. I have checked the blog and the answer was either Java mapping or XSLT mapping. Is it possible to handle in graphical mapping?
I am using the AS2 adapter to send the file to customer and External defination for the target message. Below are few information on the AS2 configuration:
Signing Algorithm: SHA-1
Encryption: 3DES
Your suggestion is highly appreciated.
Regards,
VasanthaHI Vasantha,
It is not possible with Graphical Mapping you need to go either with JAVA or XSLT mapping.

Internal delivery chnl, file doesn't get picked up, no trace log file gener
I have defined an internal File delivery channel as part of a trading agreement between host and remote partner (Custom doc over Internet - AS2), configuration including agreement has been deployed, but the file doesn't get picked up. I have made sure that the directory specified in the delivery channel does exist and all permissions are set up (Windows 2003 server).
A have specified directory for oracle.tip.adapter.b2b.transportTrace property in ip.properties, however no log file gets generated (restarted b2b).
I am sure it must be something basic I have overlooked, any ideas, folks? Thanks again,
There is an exception in the log file, I guess that explains why the file doesn't get picked up. Not very informative, though :

AS2 Adapter Configuration to Customer / no signature certificate
Dear all,
we start a project with an external Customer incl. Certificates.
If we now start message processing we get follow error back:
Message processing goes fail. Reason: javax.resource.ResourceException: Fatal exception: javax.resource.ResourceException: SEEBURGER AS2: AS2 Adapter failure # java.lang.Exception: AS2 message composition failed: com.seeburger.ediint.edi.EDIMessageException: EDI message composing failed: no signature certificate, SEEBURGER AS2: AS2 Adapter failure # java.lang.Exception: AS2 message composition failed:
com.seeburger.ediint.edi.EDIMessageException: EDI message composing failed: no signature certificate
Any idea ?
What is the meaning of "no signature certificate" ?
Because we import the certificate info the Trustcenter form the partner and customized in
AS2 Receiver Configuration -> Encryption Certificate
Thanks
Kind regards
S. KohlerHello,
The error states "EDI message composing failed: no signature certificate"
...and for the signature, you are always using your own key and not the certificate that you receive from the partner.
(since you wrote " ... we import the certificate info the Trustcenter form the partner")
So the error message is correct in the way that the referenced entry cannot be used to create the signature.

The setting i have made during configation are :
1> Reciver Party with Agency,Schema and Name entered.
2>Identifiers for both Sender and reciver channel fileld with values seeburger and AS2ID.
3>Used Sender uses Virtual reciver in sender aggremnet.
4> Reciever CC have modules localejbs/Seeburger/solution/as2 and localejbs/ModuleProcessorExitBean in sequence.
Please provide solutions to overcome the issue.
As this is prototyping, i have downloaded Free As2 client and trying to send files to that client from PI.Hi Dinesh,
make sure to also configure a report channel (refer to the sample chapter in the SEEBURGER AS2 documentation) in order to receive AS2 MDNs for your sent message. Additionally report channels are needed if the SEEBURGER specific TransmissionReports are requested.
Hope that helps

AS2 adpater-- Configuration details for both SND and RCV.
Hi All,
I need some details for both AS2 sender and receiver adapter.
Sender AS2 adapter :
1. Use Proxy
Use Authentication
Which one we need to use?
2. what is this Proxy Realm or Authentication Realm??
3. Whether we need to enable Hostname check & HTTP keep alive? what is the purpose of these settings?
4. what is this Message subject ?? the content of this comes from the file name or file data?
5. Server certificate and private key authentication?? do we need to get these from partner system??
Receiver AS2 adapter :
1. Here also the same question when we need to use Proxy settings and when we need to use Authentication settings.
2. Dynamic attributes??
Use dynamic attributes
Use non-empty attributes.
What are the information we need to ask partner system to get the connection??
Please reply if anyone worked on these AS2 settings.
Thank You.

Krupakar.hi..
Sender Adapter..
1.You can use both use proxy and use authentication.depends upon the requirement.
when you use proxy you have to give proxy server name and all parameters. That means proxy server acts like your actual server. To pass this data through the AS2 apdapter U hv to specify th following parameters.
Proxy Server : Your proxy server.
Proxy Port :The port of the proxy server.
Proxy User: User for optional authentication.
Proxy Password: Password for optional authentication.
Proxy Realm: Realm for optional authentication.
2. REALM
A realm is a part of Yanel which has its own configuration and repository. This allows you to run several subsites (which are independent of one another) in a single Yanel instance. For example, each department in your company can have its own realm. This allows one department to use its database as a content repository and another to use the filesystem to provide the content to Yanel
So proxy realm means u r authorized to use the proxy server
You use Use Authentication for -
>Used to enable/disable basic authentication.
Use Authentication Used to enable/disable basic authentication.
User: User for basic authentication.
Password: Password for basic authentication.
Realm: Realm for basic authentication.
3. if u check these options for the following purpose.
SSL Hostname Check: Validate common name with server name.
HTTP Timeout:Timeout in seconds for waiting for server
response.
4.Message Subject: This subject will be compared with the subject in the received message. This is used to find the
correct channel for the inbound message. Wildcards are allowed. Its the file data.
5. Your partne rwill provide u these details.
Receiver Adapter:
1.If u use the same in sender side then u hv to verify it again in the receiver system. Then only the communication is established.
3.u must have the AS2ID and the certificates.
