Regarding AS2 sender adapter:
We will provide the details

1. Can anyone please clarify what is this message subject ??
Its the incoming file name we need to provide?
According to few blogs,
2. We will be providing the below URl to the partner system to send there messages.
HTTP://<your-xi-server>:50000/SeeburgerAS2/AS2Server
Consider im having partner systems A,B,C .
and we will be creating 3 communication channels(CC1 ,CC2 ,CC3) to three partner systems.
If i provide same URL to all the three partner systems.
Then how it will differentiate like which file is belongs to which interface (from which partner it is coming)?
And im not providing anything specific in all the AS2 sender comunication channels to differentiate these files.
What is this AS2ID which we will provide in Party Configuration.
WIll it makes any difference to above problem?
Kindly suggest me if anyone has idea about this asap.

I guess yes . you need to provide this URI.

yes it is possible to determine the receiver depending upon ur condition. Please provide the context object at design time and at the time of Configuration , using XPATH you can determine conditional receiver.

Hi Seeburger Experts,
Im new to seeburger and i just to know regarding AS2 adapter.
Im a bit clear about the AS2 receiver adapter there we have an option of giving partner Server,URL and Port to send the messages from XI.
In the same way, I couldn't find the fields for AS2 Sender adapter to provide Server,Port and URL.
So im just wondering how we will be receiving the messages from Partner system thorugh AS2 adapter.?
as we are not providing any information like URl,port,path or Directory.. etc

HI Deepthi,
We need to give the AS2ID in the party identifier tab,AS2ID that is entered here will be used for identifying the sender and receiver of the document.
1)The value of the Agency field must be Seeburger.
2)The value of the Schema field must be AS2ID.
Every partner is assigned the WAN no which is provided by the WAN service provider. That WAn no we need to configure in the party identifier tab.

No. The contacts are "owned" by the Exchange server.
The Exchange server is owned by the company.
Everything on the Exchange server is owned by the company.
If you quit or were terminated, and your access to the system has been revoked, then there is nothing you and do at this point. Once you deleted the account from your phone, all of the associated data was deleted.
NEVER store personal information on company systems.

AS2 Sender adapter.. How we can receive 2 messages from same partner??

Hi all,
I have to receive 2 AS2 messages from my partner like ORDERS and REMADV information.
I kept Message Subject as * for both my AS2 Sender adapters.
I configured both the scenarios and i ask my partner to send the messages and he got the error as
"403 : FORBIDDEN" .
But these two scenarios are working when i delete one scenario and run the other by keeping message subject as *
I felt like the messages can be diffferentiated only with Message subject when we are dealing with AS2 adapters.
Questions :
Is there any option in AS2 sender adapter where we can differentiate the messages apart from Message subject because my partners are sending the messages without any message subject.
Kindly let me know.. its urgent.

Thanks for the reply.
I think you totally misunderstood my question.
Here i will explain clearly..
Sender Party : PartyA
Sender AS2ID : A-AS2
Recevier party: PartyB
Receiver AS2ID : B-AS2
PartyB will be receiving messages from PartyA.
Say it is receving ORDERS and REMADV messages.Both are XML files.
So PartyB will be configured with two complete new scenarios and 2 AS2 sender adapters to receive the messages.I kept Message subject as * in both the sender adapters.
The messages are not coming in and clearly there is a confilct in selecting the correct communication channel.
Actually i read in one of the thread that the messages which are coming to XI will be picked up based on two things:
1) AS2 ID of the partner which is dicussed above and the second one is
2) Message subject
But from my partners we are receving the messages without any Message subject.
So in this situation how we can differentiate each messages and how the messages will go to correct communication channel.??

Adapter type missing - very urgent

We have installed PI 7.0, SP12. when we click on the adapter type in the integration directory - the window is empty. we have a central SLD which is solution manager. we have imported the sap basis content 7.0 and 7.1.. is there any other configuration that has to be checked

When i check in the RWB, the adapter monitor shows an error in
---> Adapter Engine MXD (mbixidev)

    JPR - this shows an error in it and says -
SLD access SLD host:port = 10.10.40.197:50000
Error getting JPR configuration from SLD. Exception: No entity of class SAP_BusinessSystem for MXD.SystemHome.mbixidev found

Seeburger AS2 Sender Adapter : http: 403 error

Hi All,
We have a scenario where the external party is sending xml message to xi.
While sending they are getting the below error.
u2022 Error(Error(com.cyclonecommerce.tradingengine.transport.TransportException: Retryable response: 403 Forbidden), ExchangePointId(Id(147995587),
Has anyone encountered this error before?
Any idea what might be the problem?

Hi,
This error may have different reasons:
1) You or your partner has entered an incorrect AS2 ID for one of the involved parties.
2) A valid sender agreement is missing.
3) There are more then one AS2 sender agreements with the same sender AND receiver party.
4) The corresponding inbound channel is set to inactive.

I have a scenerio, where I have to send 3 Master Data Files from our BW systerm to other BW System. Can any one let me know how can we send these in nw04s.Is there any new technologies available for this . Iam planning on Info Spoke to send these files.Is that the correct way in 04s.? Do I need to involve in the set up of Link between our BW system to Other BW system / Does BASIS guys will take care of that ?
1) In this Master Data files one of the file is Company Master File. But in the Functional Spec they have given me a separate spread sheet (with csv data). which contains the Operating Code for the Company Codes. How can I combine this in the file that I want to send it to other BW system, I mean this Flat file data and Master Data ( 0COMP_CODE) data in one file ?
2)Another File is Material Group Master File. We need to send out Local Material Group Descriptions Including Material group (Material Group Master) to Other BW System as a CSV file. For that Iam planning to use 0MATERIAL_ATTR & TEXT. (Are these data Sources are the exact data sources ?)But when I look at the ECC Data Sources I have found different data sources for Material Groups like 0MATL_GRP_TEXT1,0MATL_GRP_TEXT2...etc...TILL 5. How can I include thise in the Material Group Master File that iam sending in to other BW system.
3) Third one is Vendor Master Attributes and Texts, where I found every thing except Geo Graphic Location, Height , Longitude, Latitude Data Source Id of Geo Location. ( Which Table /Data Source will provide these details ?) I checked in LFA1, LFM1, LFB1 etc....

If you are sending data from one BW to another BW system, you can try datamart datasources. Create export DS on top of your master data infoobject in the source system, connect the source BW system as a source system to the target and do a normal ETL config for these datasources on the target. Basis can setup the source system connection.
1 - You can load this file into a Z table (create it), and in the infospoke (if you are using one) you can explore if the BADI allows you to fill the extra fields by reading from this Z table. This is assuming you are not using datamart. If you are, you can write the same code on the source system extractor user-exit.
3 - This data is stored on BW (do not think it comes from ECC so you can't find it there). I can check and post the table to find this info later; you can go to the infoobject definition and go to Bex Tab (2nd one) and check the lower part of the screen - geographic master data is managed there. I am not sure whether you need to check it for customer no (probably not) infoobject or for some field like Zipcode etc.

i am getting above error for only two users in Production envroment. but we dont have access in production, i am unable to replicate same problem in DEV. can u give any suggetion for this problem.

did you check for the roles assigned to the 2 users?Without any application access, it is rather difficult, and this is the reason why I suggested to contact somebody who is allowed to connect onto prod env.

Both for reports and Screens we create PF status and design the Application tool bar, menu Bar and Function Codes as per our requirement.
We can create the Status using the Tcode SE41.
there will be 3 status types
Normal Screen
Dialog Box
Context Menu
We use NORMAL Screen

Howto configure Seeburger AS2 Sender Adapter without using subject

Hello Experts,
we're going to implement AS2 Communication with a partner who isn't able to send the XML message with a subject in AS2 HTTTP headerfield but a different dtAS2FileName per message.
We have configured the scenario and it works as long as the partner only sends one message type (e.g. ORDER-XML). But of course there will be more than ORDERS and I don't know how to configure the scenario because I have to use only one Sender agreement with the same PARTNER-IDs (as mentioned in Seeburger AS2 Adapter Configuration Guide)
Can you please provide me the required configuration to deal with different Message-Interfaces from the same Partner.
We are an NW 7.0, Seeburger is on 1.8.1

You dont need to create another file channel to poll the files from a folder. This will be a additinal overhead to the system.
You can directly route the file on the fly based on dtAS2FileName to different receivers as well as interfaces.
You need to use condition in receiver/interface detyermination.
Your condition type shound be context object(not XPATH).
Then search for context object dtAS2FileName.

I have configured the scenario as following:

AS2 sender adapter 403 forbidden error

Hi Experts,
I have a scenario which is connecting with third party using sender AS2 adapter.
while third party sending message to PI they are getting 403 forbidden error.
sender agreements are created one for MDN reports and another particular interface for the same sender party and receiver party.
certificates are installed properly and message subjects & AS2 ID also maintained correctly.
i am using pi7.11 version and seeburger AS2 adapter.
Please suggest any configuration or setting if missed which causes this issue.

JDBC sender Adapter consistency and Transaction level - URGENT

Hi,
We are using the JDBC adapter to read data from an Oracle view. The view joins two tables on their keys where flag = 0. The JDBC adapter carries out the select and then updates the selected rows with flag = 1. The transaction level used is the default, which according to XI help is TRANSACTION_SERIALIZABLE.
Our question is what happens if the oracle application that feeds the underlying tables inserts a new record in the time interval between the select statement and the update statement with flag = 0.
WILL THE UPDATE STATEMENT UPDATE EVERYTHING, EVEN THE NEWLY INSERTED RECORD??
As we are in a live environment and we have reason to believe that some records updated to FLAG = 1 are NOT sent to XI we would appreciate the expert's help on this issue!

I was looking at the FAQ :JDBC Driver Snote and found this information which seems to answer ur question.
Q: If I have the following configured in a JDBC Sender:
Select Query:
SELECT column FROM TABLENAME WHERE FLAG = "TRUE"
Update Query:
UPDATE TABLENAME SET FLAG = "FALSE" WHERE FLAG = "TRUE"
How do I know that the JDBC adapter will not update newly added rows (rows that were added between the time that the SELECT and UPDATE queries were executed) that were not read in the initial SELECT query?
A: The SELECT and the UPDATE are run in the same DB transaction, i.e. both statements have the same view on the database.
Make sure that both statements use the same WHERE clause. An additional requirement for the correct operation of this scenario is the configuration of an appropriate transaction isolation level on the database (i.e., repeatable_read or serializable). You might also consider using a "SELECT FOR UPDATE" statement instead of a plain SELECT statement to ensure proper locking on the database.

AS2 Sender adapter

Hi,
The scenario I'm working on is AS2 -> PI -> File. I am receving the AS2 messages perfectly and the file is being generated without any problems. Also, the MDN response message is sent without any problems (however it is not signed or encrypted).
I need to sign and encrypt the response MDN message however I'm unsure how to do this. Does anyone have a step-by-step link or document that can guide me on how to set this up?

CC_AS1   for partner A ,
CC_AS2   for partner B,
CC_AS3   for partner C.
all the messages (ediorders,ediinvoice .. etc) will be sending to the AS2 url

from there the messages has to point to each communication channel (either to CC_AS1 or CC_AS2 or CC_AS3) depending on the
Partner(A,B,C) -- which we will provide in party configuration and
message(orders,invoice.. etc).
My question is
1. How it will point to each communication channel?
2. How it will transfer the correct message to correct CC.?
3. What are the details we need to provide in AS2 sender communication channel to differentiate each communication channel.?

Note : Make sure that we are not using any WAN or Mail box .. to give mail subject line in Message subject.

Normally :
The messages will flow from partner system thorough WAN to Mail box and we will put that mail subject (ex: orders_918902)to the Message subject of AS2 sender adapter.
So it will pick the files according to the subject of mail box.
Now to reduce the cost, they are completely replacing this WAN or mail box.
The messages now will flow to AS2 server through internet.
HTTP://<your-xi-server>:50000/SeeburgerAS2/AS2Server
So all the messages from all the partners will be pointing to that url.
Now my problem is how the messages will differentiate to which communication channel it has to go??
EX: Orders will be coming from three partners(A,B,C)
then how the AS2 adapter of party A will receive the correct msg which belongs to them.
We need to differentiate that by giving some information in AS2 adpater.. either Message subject or someother information..
I need that exact information.
