AS91 error message

Recently few companies went live for my client in asset accounting module  for local curreny INR.
New company currency = INR
Global currency = USD.
Using AS91 we loaded legacy assets and found that asset bought is 2013 was showing some differnet USD grp currency book value (area 30) as we had disabled this field user was not able to modify usd value.
It was working fine other than USd value issue.
But now we modified setting in OABC
(Rules for value takeover) and unchecked the last checkbox which was preving USD value entry.
after doing this now when i try to enter a asset system is throwing below error message
Message no. AC496
Company code **** manages parallel currencies in Asset Accounting. For each area that posts automatically online to FI, you have to define one dependent depreciation area that adopts both identical values and depreciation terms from depreciation area 01, and which is assigned to currency type 30 and currency USD. There is no depreciation area of this type defined for depreciation area 01.
Check your Customizing settings.
Any pointer on this will be helpful.

Hi Jose,
In your LSMW you have define a field that is not there when you run your BDC.
The problem can be that not al asset classes are using the same depreciation area's
In case 1 you have 5 depr area' and in case 2 4. Now the field (5) is not available.
When you run the BDC in background or error only it is not working. You have to run in the option proces foreground enter all the time or put some think on your enter key.
You have to know what area's have to fill in and that you don't mis data in your upload You can play with  the transaction OAYE you can give the sequence of the depreciation are for the update.
An other option is to create an LSMW by possible combination with the depreciation areas.

    Hi,
    I think U check your BDC. System is not getting the correct data, may be due to wrong/missing field in BDC or wrong/missing file created for uploading thru BDC. I will suggest you to check the fileds in BDC and run it in manual mode may be in development/quality so that u will have test run log.

    I am trying to upload certain assets through AS91 in the Production system.  But when I try to do it, system is giving the following error message :
    "Depreciation area 01 in company code XXXX does not have default values
    Message no. AC691
    Depreciation area 01 in company code 1200 does not have any default values.

    Procedure
    Enter default values for the depreciation area in Customizing, or change the entries in your depreciation key, so that default values are not required for this depreciation area."
    I have configured a default depreciation key for the asset class I am trying to upload the assets.
    I did not get this message in the Quality system where I uploaded the assets successfully.  The settings in Qulity & productions are same.  Why I am getting this message in Production ?  Did I miss any change transport to Production ?

    The error may be the Record type B is invalid ,  the last field is record type , chk whether B exists or not

  • ABST2 error messages MQ 555 and MQ 557

    Hi,
    I receive the error messages MQ 555 and MQ 557 in ABST2 transaction.
    We´ve done the ECC 6.0 upgrade (no new G/L activation), subsequent data conversion (migration - change transfer date) and
    EA-FIN activation.
    Is there any support note or package to fix the G/L - FA subledger reconciliation or it will be automatically solved in a new year?

    Loaded all the Assets using AS91.
    Did the manual entry to GL using OASV.
    When i run the ABST2 Report , iam getting the below error message.
    "Differences between assets and G/L accts in the balance carried forward
    Message no. MQ555"
    "Differences between assets and G/L accts at the key date Message no. MQ557"
    When i checked with GL balance FAGLB03 and Asset Balance report the values match but for some reason getting this error and
    Client want to see the 0.00 in Difference coloumn in ABST2. I did not run the depriciation yet. Do you think after running the depriciation it will show 0.00 in that coloumn ..

  • Getting an Error Message: AA 698  ANLB and ANLC for asset not in Sync

    Hi all Experts
    I know there were previous thread on the similar issue. I read those and tried to follow the procedure mentioned but didn't work. First of all We are working on ECC 6.0 verion. We have couple of assets Which is giving a problem even when we display the asset. The error message AA 698 ANLB and ANLC for asset not in Sync.
    We added a new depreciation area which was added to all the assets. the depreciation calculation for the new depreciation area is not updated in table ANLB. The asset were capitalized in 2009. I think the asset transfer was done using AS91. I initially thought it was fiscal year change problem but now as i open fiscal year 2009 and try to calculate the depreciation it keeps giving me the same error AA 698. There were various OSS notes mentioned which are all implementd in our system.
    One more thing I see is that on the depreciation area which has issue which is not populated in ANLB table doesnot have ordinary depreciation  start date. Which I tried to maintain using AS92 and reran the depreciation caluclation (AFAR) this also didn't work as its giving me the same error. Also this depreciation area doesn't have Operational rediness date, I think this date should populate from the value date of the asset.
    Please let me know if you have suggestion

    thanks for your reply. Below are my observation
    1) Have ANLB-LGJAN and ANLC-GJAHR the same depreciaiton areas:
              I had checked this earlier....ANLC doesnot have an entry for that specific deprectiation area. ANLB has an entry. This is where all the issue started.
    2) Is the field T082AVIEWB-AUTHORITY on 2 (note 900767).
             This note has been applied and the view is on 2
    3)Are the following fields synchrone: ANLC-GJAHR = T093C-LGJAHR
                  These field are not synchrone: ANLC doesn't have an entry for depreciation area 82 other depreciation area are at 2009 in ANLC and in T093C-LGJAHR is in 2010. How can we sysnc these tables? Also how can I get depreciation area into ANLC table?

    Define the depreciation area using the Customizing menu.
    i was suspicious of the asset records have some mistake ,so i reset company code in fixed
    asset , and i reload the asset records ,when rerun AFAB ,it show the same mistake message
    AA833 again.
    then ,i copy the client 800 to client 500, and reload the asset records in client 500 ,run AFAB ,the also
    show the same message !!
    by the way ,i upload records use LSMW ,
    I don't know the reason ,
    what shall i do ?

    u have to assign depre area to ur company code..
    Please check.. you have to done step as following
    1. Copy Reference Chart of Depreciation/Depreciation Areas (Asset accounting -> organization structures -> Copy Reference Chart of Depreciation/Depreciation Areas)
    2. Assign Chart of Depreciation to Company Code(OAOB)     
    3. Define Depreciation Areas for Foreign Currencies(OAYH)     
    4. How depreciation areas post to the general ledger(Customizing FI-AA > Integration with the General Ledger > Define How Depreciation Areas Post to General Ledger)
    5. Specify Financial Statement Version for Asset Reports(OAYN)

  • AS91 error fiscal year

    Hello,
    When in AS91 for importing Assets and defining the field 'Capitalized On' I receive error message 'SYST: Period 012 is not valid in financial year variant
    The point is that this message only occurs before year 2007.
    Anyone?

    The legacy date is just fine. I found the error and it was due to inconsistency of  population of the field T093C-XRUMPF. Note 123026 seem to solve this

  • Windows Vista: Ipod Error Message, no longer read by PCs

    Hello,
    I have a 5th generation black ipod video with 30GB of memory.
    The other day I hooked it up to my laptop (Toshiba, 4 months old) that it's been functioning on with no problems whatsoever. This weird error message flashed twice about it not being able to sync because of some software problem.
    Eversince then, the only thing I can charge my ipod on is the family treadmill in the basement (~_~) as no other computer in the house recognizes it. I can't even charge it through the wall sockets, either.
    I have changed the ipod cord, still no luck. I've also reset the device about 3 or 4 times and uninstalled, restarted the laptop then reinstalled itunes. I would like to reset it back to factory settings but that's impossible as computers/laptops don't pick it up. I live very far from a Mac store...
    What's a girl to do? I can't live without my Busta Rhymes and Wu-Tang Clan!

    Dear users,
    I have a rather usual (unusual from the weekend beers for me though!!) query which I can't figure out a proper way to implement.
    My requirement is like this:
    I have a message class in which I want to define a text 'Employee number & not found'.
    I want to use this in the program, but not to raise this error. Instead, I want to move this error message with the Employee number into a Character(200) variable.
    So instead of using MESSAGE e0xx(messageclass) USING employee number, I would like to move the error text into a variable which looks like:
    lv_text = e0xx(messageclass) USING '1234'   which stores the text 'Employee number 1234 not found' in lv_text.
    How would I acheive it??

  • IPod seen by windows, not by iTunes+ weird error message

    I have a first generation 2GB iPod nano and i use windows xp. I can't load any music because iTunes doesn't see my iPod and an error message pops up that reads like this: "iTunes: iTunes.exe corrupt file. The file or directory \iPod_Control\iTunes is corrupt and unredable. Please run the checkdisk utility." I've tried everything, reinstalling iTunes, different versions, reinstalling OS, resetting iPod, even on another computer, same problem. Other than that, the iPod works normally, it's just lacking music..
    and why is there no email adress from apple for service qustions? 10x

    I still don't get it, how can I put it in disk mode if I CANNOT see the iPod in iTunes..?

  • Error message iPod cannot update b/c all of the playlists no longer exist

    Hello. I have been getting this error message. "Songs on the iPod "MAR(the name of my iPod)" cannot update because all of the playlists selecting for updating no longer exist." And my playlists are still on the left side in my iTunes. They do exist. I have a feeling ths might have to do with the fact that on vacation the person I was visiting gave me a gift of putting all of his music that would fit into the external hard drive part of my iPod, and for the past week or so I have been putting that music onto my 40 GB portable hard drive at home. I suspect I took a vital folder out of my iPod by accident. Right now I have the folder iPod_control if I open my iPod up in My Computer. Am I missing something? Right now my iPod is empty because iTunes made a composite playlist last week and I deleted it thinking I could get my real playlists back. Can you help me, or reccomend a site/someone who can? Thank you.

    And my playlists are still on the left side in my iTunes. They do exist.
    let's just doublecheck this. folks get this message if they have "automatically update selected playlists only" selected in their itunes "ipod" preferences tab. so bring up that tab ("edit > preferences", click "ipod" while the ipod is showing up in the source list), and do a playlist by playlist crosscheck of the playlists selected in that tab, and the playlists showing up in the itunes sourcelist.
    is there any playlist selected in the preferences tab that isn't showing up in the sourcelist?

  • Windows Blue Screen Error Message Appears As Soon As IPod Connected

    Everytime I connect my IPod to my computer, I get the Windows Blue Screen error message. Thought it was the cable, so plugged cable in by itself. No problem. Uninstalled IPod and ITunes software and then plugged in IPod, still got the Blue Screen. The Blue Screen says something about "recent plugged in device problem". It is not the cable, it must be the IPod. Did not have this problem when I bought it. Tried it on labtop and get the same error message. I can't do updater or anything that requires me to plug the IPod into a computer because the Blue Screen appears immediately. When I unplug, the Blue Screen remains and locks up the computer so I have to restart each time. I have tried everything I can think of. Please help.

    I am not able to start the computer in safe mode, safe mode with networking, last good known configuration etc, Each time it quickly blue screens and restarts about two secs into the process.
    I was unable to try a clean OS install from the disk as it gave the blue screen error shown in the original post. The same thing happened when I tried to use the repair option on the XP home disc. So i can't get into the computer at all to start diagnosing the fault, the only clue I have is the error message, and after searching the internet I haven't found much enlightenment from that yet.
    If you can help me out or suggest where to search it would be much appreciated.

  • IPod Error Message: "The disk could not be read from or written to."

    Hello!
    I was syncing my sister's video iPod (30GB) and this error message pops up "Attempting to copy to the disk. "SARAH'S IPO" failed. The disk could not be read from or written to."
    I have restored it three times already, but once it starts putting the music and files back onto the iPod it pops up with that error message. I have updated to the latest version of iTunes and iPod software available. My OS is Windows XP.
    Is this something serious? Will I be able to fix it myself or will I need to send it in to be fixed by Apple? Will that be expensive? We didn’t get the Apple replacement plan. D=

    PowerBook G4   Mac OS X (10.4.3)   15" PowerBook 1.5 GHz PowerPC G4, 1.5GB RAM - Windows XP with iPod 5 Generation

    Okay I went thru that entire list and here's what I got...
    (1) My OS is XP and is running fine.
    (2) I've updated my windows
    (3) I don't know of any software that might be interfering.
    (4) There are no damaged files.
    (5) My Windows hard-drive is not damaged and I've tried restoring my iPod's disk thru iTunes but it still doesn't work.
    (6) I don't have an iPod photo and I can't find the folder to delete the cache if if I did.
    (7) The USB cord is firmly connected into my USB port and my iPod
    (8) My music is on my external hard-drive so I need to keep 3rd-party hardware connected
    (9) I will try another USB cord to see if that works.
    Is there anything else that I can do? Can Apple fix this?
    Please let me know.

    For some reason my older iPod Touch without a camera on it will not sync any more and I am getting an error message saying this iPod cannot be synced. Now I had it set up to sync over Wi-Fi and I would occasionally hook up to the computer with the cable and got error messages on both. Now I read something about removing the SC Info Folder.
