ASA hangs up after some time
Able to ssh the firewall from remote location but after some time when command is excuted.the firewall hangs.

9iAS R2 - Windows XP - IE hangs after some time
Hi,
We are using Oracle 9iAS on Windows XP client PCs. Application runs fine, however after some time, application hangs and IE session does not respond and we cannot do anything else but to end the ie task from task manager.
It looks like Application loses connection with the database server and stops responding.

I am also experiencing the same problem while using Oracle Application Server 10gR2 on Windows 2000 Adv. Server and the clients are using IE on Windows XP.

2). which version of Mozilla is perfect with Windows XP 2002 SP 2.
3). Either I have to install Mozilla or FireFox.

OAS4081 on RH6.2 hangs after some time
I installed OAS4081 on Redhat6.2. It seems to work fine... for a couple of hours. After some time (ranging from several hours to one day, depending on the activity I think) the listener does not respond anymore. Even a 'telnet <host> 80 - GET /' does not return anything. There are no processes taking up cpu-time. Memory usage (using top) seems ok (150Mb total). The only way to solve, it to 'owsctl stop -s website40', but still some processes remain and need to be killed -9. Then restarting the website makes it ok again.
Also using 'vmstat 1' I have the impression that free memory is decreasing slowly (max 1Mb/5min). But when the website hangs, there is still enoug free memory (+200Mb).
If anyone has the same experience, or any tips, please let me know. We would like to use this website in a production environment.
I use only PL/SQL on an 8.1.5 database on a remote machine.

P.S. I applied the /pfoo/stat patch as described in the forum elsewhere.We haven’t managed to repro this problem yet – we’ve run it on a couple of different machines using 2.5 and tested it repeatedly and can’t get it to fail. So, we have some more questions:
* What mode are you running in? GPU,CPU or Flash?
* If GPU, do you only see this hang in GPU mode, or can you reproduce it in CPU or Flash mode?
* If GPU, what is the date and version number of the NVIDIA GPU driver you is using? (and is it up to date – new drivers can be downloaded here http://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us)
* When you hit "Build and Run" are you changing anything? (e.g. editing the filter code, changing modes, changing images etc.)
* Can you make the images you’re using available to us?

WL 10.3 - Quartz's jobs stops after some time of correct executing
Hi,
I have a webapp (backend only) that is deployed on WebLogic 10.3 AS. In this webapp 5 quartz's job are executed (cron trigger). Two of them run 3 times a day, the next two of them execute every 5 seconds and the last one starts every 20 seconds.
The problem is that after some time of correct execution (about 20 min.) one on the jobs hangs on, then after some time (about 10 min.) the second one hangs on and finally only one of job (it's always the "20" second job) executes correct for a long time, then also stops. Above, concerns the only the "5" and "20" seconds jobs. All of the jobs are stateful and Oracle DB is used for synchronisation.
In DB I see that "TRIGGER_STATE" in "TRIGGERS" tables has value of "BLOCKED" for the jobs that hang on. Whenever the job crashes I see the following entry in the WL's log:

I use my own implementation of scheduler to start the jobs at the deploy time. Jobs are also always unscheduled when the app is undeployed. After undeploying all entries from quartz's tables are erased excepting the one in "SCHEDULER_STATE" table.
The webapp is tested standalone but it will be in the production environment it will be clustered (two nodes).
What can cause the problem? And how to solve it?

I have a entry, in web.xml, because of this this working at startup time. (connecting the quarts scheduler)
When server and application started every thing it's working but after some time(mostly after 30 minutes), without any change in server/application we are getting the above error.

BC4j/JSP Application not responding after some time - when deployed on 9ias BC4j/JSP

We are using BC4j/jsp application on 9ias. The application is not responding
after some time. We have installed 9ias on PIII(384MB RAM). We tried to accesses
with 10 users, and server is not responding to BC4J/JSP application.
However the server could able to publish the JSP pages with standerad JDBC code even after that.

There is currently no mechanism for reducing the connection pool size after a period of high activity. Recently this has been frequently requested and as such will be implemented in the next production release.

If the user start times and think times are staggered in order to reduce the incidence of synchronous persistence requests does the ratio of connections to web sessions stabilize at some lower number (i.e. 1.5:1) -

I created a web application and configured rbs storage ,
I uploaded documents (for ex: 18 number)
after uploaded documents , and observed the RBS storage folder, number of files are increasing (39 number) , its working fine
and also I run the querys to check the rows increasing or not , (when I upload new doc rows are increased its fine also)

but when I delete some docs from document library ,
1)the doc itself deleted from document library
2)when I check the rbs storage there is no number of files are decreased(its still 39 files ), its same as before doc deleted from doc library
after some time I found the number of files are decreasing from RBS storage folder in sql server,
here I want to know the how the files are decreasing from RBS storage after some time, where shld I check the settings for this? and how I control on it
here how I know the settings for cleaning up orphan BLBOS how these deleted BLOB
adil1. WHen you delete the file from Sharepoint, it is still present in Recycle bin. This is a default setting in sharepoint for 30 days. Once files are deleted fro Recycle bin, it can also be delete from RBS
2. There is a RBS cleanup job which deletes files from RBS. for more info check

When I am accessing wi-fi, suddenly the display went-off and then I was not able to start my phone again.
Later I tried to restore and update the Iphone using Itunes.
I have updated the Itunes.
Using hard-reset, I tried to restore the OS and did the same successfully.
After installing the same over my Iphone 3G, I didnt recieved any intimation for completion of the process, besides, I was not able to start the mobile even I have reset the OS.
when I push the wake-up button, I am able to see the Apple Logo and after some time, it goes off and remains idle with no more display.
I tried to reset OS twice, it remained the same.
Can any one help me here with this issue.
I am not even able to figure-out the cause of the problem.

when i download any file it works frequently and downloading start in a second but when i pause the downloading file & after some time when i open it,The downloading not start proper and after some time a message flash 'download error' source file could not be read please try again later or contact the server administrator.
I downloaded the Microsoft Autoruns package and ran it. There are no programs in the LSA Providers tab, and Apple's Bonjour is the only program in the Winsock Providers tab. I also did the "netsh winsock reset" and rebooted. It didn't fix the problem. Any more ideas?

It appears that you have to buy the applecare within 30 days of buying your phone - you said that your phone warranty is almost over, so when did you buy it??? That could be the explanation for the error. -

1. Quit ADE.
2. Choose Start > Run.
3. In the Open text box, type regedit and then press Enter. The Registry Editor opens.
4. In the left pane of the Registry Editor, locate the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Adept
5. Right-click the Adept key and choose Delete.
6. In the Confirm Key Delete dialog, click OK.
Your authorization will be deleted.
ADE will be deauthorized now.
Now Authorize ADE again. -
Urgent : MDB stops listening to the queues after some time !!!
Hi,
I am using OJMS with OC4J 10.1.2 and db 9.2.0.5. I have a web application which send messages into the queue very frequently.
But the problem is the MDBs stop listening to the queues after some time (1-2 days) and no more messages will be dequeued from that point.
All these messages will move to the exception queue after their expiry.
But the dequeing agains resumes after restarting the OC4J !.
I guess, at some point mdbs are either becoming busy (locked ) or some exception occured while dequeing, hence they stop listening to the queues.
Please throw some light on this issue as it is very crucial in my project.

PrashanthI've noticed this lately as well, with my iPhone 4. I couldn't confidently pin it directly on any particular iOS update, but my iPhone used to automatically connect up via Bluetooth with my Prius's handsfree feature, and now it doesn't. I work with a CE-based device at my job, with Bluetooth capability, and I used to test out that feature by having it discover my iPhone. This no longer works either.
What I have found (not really a solution, but it does work and may be a clue for Apple) is that if I simply go to the Settings app then the General -> Bluetooth screen and let it sit there, it will pair right up with my car within a few seconds. Bluetooth is always on, and always says "Now Discoverable" at the bottom of the settings screen. -
Why new contacts are not appearing after some time?
I Am using iPhone6, iPad New and iPad mini. The contacts which I saved in iPhone are not appearing after some time. I don't know whether it is related with synchronisation of other devices. Please help me if you know the reason.

Have you checked the filtering option in contacts? Open contact menu button > filter. Perhaps you have a filter hiding the contacts.
