Asked to Sign-in to iCloud every time I start my Mac since upgrading to Yosemite
Since upgrading to Yosemite every time I start my computer it goes through the normal grey screen stage and then I get to login as normal. After logging in I then get asked to sign-in to iCloud. I sign-in successfully and agree to the terms and conditions, choose to upgrade to iCloudDrive and then it says setting up my Mac, which takes about 20 seconds before the desktop displays. I'd expect this behaviour on the first reboot after installing Yosemite but it's asking me to sign-in to iCloud every time I restart and taking me through all these steps!
I'm on iMac, Late 2012, 2.9 GHz Intel Core i5, 8GB
Just to say I never found a solution to this after hours of looking for answers and trying different things. I finally decided to take the plunge and reformat my hard drive and reinstall OS X Yosemite and now is all good on this front.

Why am I asked to sign in to iCloud every time I turn on my iPad4?
I can't access my iPad because it keeps asking me to sign in to iCloud. I don't have an iCloud account. Help!
Did you check if there still is a key icon on the left hand side of the location bar to reopen the remember pop-up?
If the pop-up doesn't stay open then try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

My iMac keeps showing an install bar every time I reboot or restart since upgrading to OS X Yosemite. This never occurred in any of the previous OS. Is this new or a problem? I have an iMac (27-inch Mid 2010), Mac OS X (10.6.7).

Desktop pic changes every time I restart the MAC since the new OIS update
Anybody can help with?
ewaller, thank you for your response and interest! at this moment i'm so happy seeing the correct hour on the screen that all that i want is enyoi it!!!
I live in Barcelona so, teorically my UTC is UTC + 2. During all this time with UTC the time has been changing every time i started the computer but without following a pattern. So one day the time was 30 min. ahead the real time, another day 2 hours before and so on... a bit crazy!
I have Windows installed on another partition, but I rarely started it.

verduler wrote:This is the output of hwclock --debug. It's a translation because my locale isn't english
FYI. You can prepend LC_ALL=C to a command to force English output. Example:
LC_ALL=C hwclock --debug
Could have saved you some translating
If you are happy with the clock set to localtime, great. I prefer having it set to UTC for a variety of reasons that have been discussed on these forums that I'll not repeat here.
The hardware clock is UTC
Your system assumed the clock was set to UTC
Time read from Hardware Clock: 04.22.2012 10:38:11
Hardware Time: 22/04/2012 10:38:11 = 1335091091 seconds after 1969
Sun April 22 2012 12:38:11 CEST -0.381791 seconds
The system shows your time as being two hours ahead of UTC. UTC does not have summer/winter time adjustments. I assume that you are one hour ahead of UTC, plus an extra hour of adjustment for summer.
The post I took this from was posted at 01:01:56 PDT (UTC-7). What time (your local time) did you make that post?
If it took you 20 minutes for the translation your hardware clock at the time would have been about 11:01. That is 10 hours ahead of me.
I am confused, because I expected it to be about 9. If things are working right, it should be 7.
Anyway, it would appear if the change you made fixed things then your hardware clock was not set to UTC. If you want to pursue this, I am glad to help. If not, I am sure we will be talking about clock settings this fall -

Please not the issue is not occurring when I run in safe modeUnless you are using an illegal hackintosh, there should not be a VooDooHDA.kext in your /System/Library/Extensions/ folder. That is what is causing the panic.
If you are using a hackintosh rather than a real Mac, then we cannot help you further. -
How can I get rid of this that shows up every time I start my Mac?

ThanksHi RicardoGonzalez,
Welcome to Adobe Forums.
Please open the finder window click on "go" and choose "computer".
Navigate to MacHD/Library/Startupitems and send AdobeVersionCue to Desktop or some other location on the hard drive.
Then try to launch your application and check if the issue persists.

Anyone else having this problem?
These instructions must be carried out as an administrator. If you have only one user account, you are the administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
The title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar at the top of the screen.
In the top right corner of the Console window, there's a search box labeled Filter. Initially the words "String Matching" are shown in that box. Enter the word "Starting" (without the quotes.) You should now see log messages with the words "Starting * backup," where * represents any of the words "automatic," "manual," or "standard."
Each message in the log begins with the date and time when it was entered. Note the timestamp of the last "Starting" message that corresponds to the beginning of an an abnormal backup. Now
CLEAR THE WORD "Starting" FROM THE TEXT FIELD
so that all messages are showing, and scroll back in the log to the time you noted. Select the messages timestamped from then until the end of the backup, or the end of the log if that's not clear. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.
☞ If all you see are messages that contain the word "Starting," you didn't clear the text field.
☞ The log contains a vast amount of information, almost all of which is irrelevant to solving any particular problem. When posting a log extract, be selective. Don't post more than is requested.
Please don't indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Please don't post screenshots of log messages—post the text.
☞ Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting. -
ICloud mail doesn't send from Mac since upgrading to Mavericks...
Worked perfectly before upgrade yesterday, now, if I send an email on my Mac, it just stays in drafts, no sending progress bar in bottom left, doesn't show up in outbox or sent items either, simply jus sits there in drafts... No error message of any sort either... Works fine on all 4 of my other iOS devices, an all sent/received mails on other devices will show up in mail folders on Mac.. Have tried restarting mail, also restarting Mac, nothing... ):
Any help gratefully received...Just to add, doesn't show up in the outbox.mbox folder either...

Logic asks for serial number every time I start it...
Hi,
I've just reinstalled Logic Studio and it asks me for a serial number every time I start up Logic Pro if I don't have the old XS key inserted.
It's the upgrade version and in the past i've just needed to insert the XS Key at installation, not evey time I use it.
I'm using Logic Pro (lastest update) with Lion which Apple says is supported.
Can anyone help?I had this issue when I upgraded. I resolved it by inserting the key before I started the upgrade and left it in there and then valdidate it with the serial. After that it never asked for the key again. If this is not working you might want to contact support and they probably provide a new serial key.

For the past two weeks, every time I start up my computer I'm asked for an iCloud login. I've never used iCloud and I'm not likely to. How do I get this login to stop automatically showing up? I'm using an iMac G5 with OS 10.9.4.
One more quick thing first. Hold the SHIFT key this time as you startup and see if that gets you any further (this is called 'Safe Mode' by the way). I'm not too confident that this will work in your case but it's worth a try. If it boots up, go into Disk Utility and repair permissions.
If it doesn't, you're going to have to do an Archive & Install which will install a fresh copy of the OS over the top BUT keep all your users, files and apps in place. -

Why do I have to sign in to WIFI every time I try to connect? Once I sign in , all is fine, but it does not remember my passwrd??
Post relates to: Pre p100eww (Sprint)I am having a similar issue with my Pre. There are two networks at my office - a WEP encryted one and an open network that belongs to the office next door. My Pre is dropping me off our WEP network and conecting to the open one. While I explicitly ask it to 'forget' the open network, instead it reconnects to that and forgets the settings for the WEP ... so I have to reconfigure each time I need to connect!
[Note: once I am connected to our network, it is fine for as loong as the connection holds. So connecting is not the issue, it's the Pre 'forgetting' the sesttings that is the problem.]
Any clues are welcome!

Kernel panics are usually hardware.
Hold down 'd' key and it should boot into Apple Hardware Test, or insert your OEM install DVD to do so.
No, we are mere users and mortals and usually you need to do some troubleshooting by trial and error and testing. Schedule an appointment.
