Asking again - please help. Itunes cannot see podcasts
Hi, I've got dozens of podcasts on my hard drive but since the most recent software update. Ctrl J doesnt work either.
Music and ItunesU work as normal, but all I get in the podcasts screen is a What's New screen with no way of removing it. I've reinstalled the progam multiple times as well as tried to revert to older versions to no avail.

First make sure all of the apps in your iTunes library are up to date by going to the Apps section of your iTunes library and choosing the Update button in the lower right hand corner. Once you have confirmed this, restart your iPod Touch with it still plugged in to a USB port by pressing and holding both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear.
Then try resyncing your device.

Please help: User cannot see webi report data
Hi,
I've got a wired problem here in my webi report. Basically I am located in Singapore and produced a webi report for our user in UK. The report looks totally fine with all the data shown correctly. But when our report user logged into the dashboard from UK, she could only see partial data and some of the information are missing(blank cells in the report).
To verify the cause I've done the following test:
1. I remote control her computer and log into dashboard using my account, the result is I get same problem and I cannot see some of the data.
2. I let her remote control my pc and log into dashboard using her account, she no longer has this problem and can see complete data.
We use same version of IE, same JAVA version. And the report data is not time sensitive, so different time zone might not the possible cause.
This problem is killing me. Can anyone please help and let me know any possible solution? Thanks so much.

I don't know if it is the same problem or not, but I have seen that before when a user cannot view the data, change the font and/or background color and the data becomes visible. Reinstalling the client fixed that problem. If you couldn't figure out the root cause, you might want to consider this option.

Please Help: iTunes cannot communicate with ipod?
I just got my ipod video and i installed itunes and the ipod software. But when i open itunes i get the following error message "The software required for communicating with the ipod is not installed correctly. Please reinstall itunes to install the ipods software". Ive tried reinstalling the software but i get the same message? Is there anythin else i can do? All help greatly appreciated!

Maybe:
Restore loop (being prompted to restore again after a restore successfully completes)

Next try placing in DFU mode and then restoring.

Then try restoring on another computer.

Deleting this, then reinstalling adobe air did the trick. I wasn't thorough enough on my first try, it was tricky to find everything associated. I had to look for files in the console log then search for them. Spotlight was missing some deep files, EasyFind worked better for me.

My iPad appears under portable devices in W7 64bit, so iTunes cannot see it
My iPad appears under portable devices in device manager in Windows 7 64bit, so iTunes cannot see it. I have tried unistalling the device, but it always reappears as a portable device. My ipod shuffle also appears as a portable device, but it is seen in iTunes, whereas the ipad does not.
Assuming you've already tried the simple stuff like rebooting the iPad and the computer you'll probably want to check some of these items...

Right-click in it > Show in Finder. Finally, right-click in that file > Get Info > Sharing & Permissions. See if you have got read permission,
Clicked through the Get Info > Sharing & Permissions and when I closed the window the song played again.

The next time you attempt to reach Skype Customer Service, try again using a different web browser and choosing a different path through the various drop-down menu options presented. Do not choose the obvious - you have already established that path is not working. Also, look to approve a pop-up dialogue box which would connect you to start an instant message chat with a customer service agent. If you have pop-ups blocked in your browser settings, this will also impede reaching an agent.
Skype is aware of problems reaching their customer service unit via the website, however people are getting through. I have flagged your report for follow-up by those to whom I report.

OK, so iTunes somehow was able to hook up with the shuffle and pulled all my purchased songs off it. I am now on a different computer. I canot access the iPod itself though to place new songs on it. iTunes cannot see it. I am worried that the USB port sees it as a memory storage device instead of iPod. Any thoughts?
