Assign the postions to org strcture and maintian the relation ship

If , i have created all the org strcture now want to creat postiopns undre the org unit, and maintain the relationships .

Hi,
When you're in PPOME;
Select the org unit you want the position to reside.
Click "Create" button. In the window select position.
Enter short name, long name, beginning date and ending date.
Save it.

Hi,
I am working on creating another option in the list of option for the relations ship tab for the account details of Org type.
I was able to create the new Option and i have create a another event which is assign int eh application set but and it is showing in the detail area1 of the relations but when I choose that option no even it is getting fired. I have cloed the further relation ship option i cloned the structure and class and even but even then it is not getting fired. I have assigned the view linkkage ACC_REL but even then it is not getting fired. Please send me the list of table in which we need to do the setting.

Ideally the characteristics in a dimension are 1:n........as already explained.......
But how to deal with the characteristics that need to be placed in a dimension with n:m relationship..........
It is always better to put unrelated Characteristics having n:m relationships in differnt dimensions, else the size of dimension and fact tables would nearly be the same, which is not advisable........
As usual it depends. If you have enough dimensions available you normally put them into different dimensions. If you have lots of characteristics you look at the expected number of values in the characteristics and you put those characteristics into one dimension that have small amounts of values like version, value type, currency type. Sometimes you also put characteristics together that are unrelated but need to be logically combined like cost element and credit/debit indicator.
Or your characteristics are slightly correlated (what you may call 1.5:n relation).........

How can you assign user 1 to org 1 and user 2 to org 2. (Reports)

if i use user 1 and user 2 for org 1 and org 2 respectively. I want user 1 can see the data of org 1 only not org 2 and same for user 2 can see the data for org 2 only how i can do this in reports. Now suppose you have 200 user and org then how you handle this in reports.

Maintain a table with two fields - user & organisation.
Fill it with proper user & his corresponding org details.
While fetching the data for report output, take the user as input & fetch the corresponding Organisation.
Then while preparing the final output data, prepare it based on the users organisation.

Where to assign the relation type PRDBP in customizing.

I am working in CIC0. In Accounts,I am searching an object with serial number .I will get a list of product ID's as search result. When I select one product ,In the Partner field i am getting a text as Partner not bound.
When I debugged the program,I found that system is checking the database table comm_il_prdbp for relationship type PRDBP.Since entry is not there in this table,this text is shown.Can anyone help me out by providing details of where to assign this relationship of partner and product in customizing.

Mismatch between Employee Org Unit and HRP1001

Hi,
I am facing one peculiar issue. The Org Assignment for a person is showing a set of Position, Job and Org Unit. But when I check the HRP1001 table for that position, the OU Relation shown is different.
On prodding, user told me that, they have deleted the relations table completely and renamed Org units and loaded fresh relations (O-O, O-S).
My understanding is: PA0001 will pickup the relationship from HRP1001.
Please correct me if I am wrong and how do I rectify this issue,

Assign biz role through CRM -SU01 and display page at portal

HI, SDN Fellows.
I am creating some custom portal roles at portal and mapped it to the custom business roles for some PCUI screens at crmc_blueprint_c --> "Assign Portal Role to Single Role" ("Assignment of CRM Role to Portal Role").
Currently, our portal UME data source is mapped to CRM system.
Right now, I have to assign both the CRM Role through SU01(to have access the CRM Object Method at CRM-PCUI application) and Portal Role through User Admin of WAS/portal (to access/display the PCUI iView in the portal).
My goal is to just assign role through CRM-SU01 and achieve the same output as I described above. Meaning can I just do the role assignment for the CRM role (through SU01) and able to access to the CRM-PCUI application through portal (able to see the pcui screen)?

What I want is when I assign a role (Sales Manager) said user A in CRM system, userA should able to see the related workset/page/iviews in the portal (without the need to assign the same: Sales Manager role in portal).
Now, what I have to do is assign the related objects into a single/composite roles in CRM (for backend data access), then I have to assign a portal role (through User Admin of Portal, so that they can see the portal content),
is that a way we can do it in one step?

Relation ships in Org management

Hi Every one,
My first question is regarding maintaing org management relation ships .How we maintain relation ships between persons(s) in development system coz there will be no data available in development system.????
My second question is ,For example I created org unit A ,Org Unit B ,i assigned a position sr clerk to org unit A and sr Clerk to Org unit B. .Now my question is position in org unit B should reports to position in org unit A..and .how their relation ships are maintained????

Error while assigning the user to orgunit and position

Hi,
We are having the below issue :
1.       Obtain the HR master record (P Ids) created by interface - ECC
2.       Assign a valid user to this HR master record -ECC
3.       Do the position/Org assignment against this P Id or personnel master record - ECC
4.       Transfer the Org Id, then the position ID and then the personnel master ID (P Id) to SRM u2013 ECC
5.       Check if the user is in SYNC in SRM - Ideally he should inherit the mandatory parameters from the above Orgs in the structure without which he shall not be able to shop in SRM u2013 step executed in SRM
Please let us know if this process is as per the expectation.
If so, we are ending up with error in the third step where the assignment is not allowed since the personnel master record is created with prior date than the position and the Org units.
Actually we are getting the idoc with user alone from other system, org and position ids are blank. So we are assigning the user in the system and we are getting above error.
Is this the correct process to bring the users alone into the system and doing the position/organization assignment in ECC now?
Or the Idoc comes with this data as well?

Infotype 0027 is the standard solution for multiple reporting / multi tasking in SAP.
but also check which org unit he will be primarily assigned.

Sales Org Determination and slaes are Templets not assigned

Dear Experts,
I have a problem in Sales Org determination and sales are templates.
I have totaly 9 branches as part of Project rollout and the determination rule is working for 8 branches where as only one branch is facing this problem.
I have checked all possible solutions from this forum and tried my level best, still not working out. Pls help me .
1) When tried to create a sale order it gives me an error saying " Enter sales Unit" "Enter Distribution Channel" " Enter Sales Org"
I have created the Sales are templets and also assigned them to main templates. And the rule for org determination is defined with the fields, Data Origion, Partner and Source in contianer , which is working fine with other branches.. Only one branch we are facing this above said problem..
Can any one help me in this regards.

I have alredy created the Rule for sales org determination based on Insustry sector( Contianer- Industry Sector, PArtner, and source) and it is working fine with 1st and 2nd branch users. It is only a problem with 3 rd branch where 3 users are using the system.
Even I cross checked the authorisations,and I did not find any error with the authorizations. Hope you r more clear on this

To copy a standard WT and assign a new name with the same attributes and characterstics:
IMG > Personnel Management> Personnel Administration> Payroll data> Recurring Payments and Deductions. Copy any standard Wage Type.
Check assignment of WT to a Symbolic Account :
(The WT will inherit the Symbolic account from the copeid standard WT)
Go through SM30 to Table V_T52EL_NOFM. Make neccessary changes to the Symbolic account, if needed.
To create a new Symbolic Account and assign it to the WT:
Payroll --> Payroll (country) --> Posting to Financial Accounting --> Activities in the HR-System --> Employee grouping and symbolic accounts --> Define symbolic accounts
To assign the WT to the new symbolic account (same as table V_T52EL_NOFM):
Payroll --> Payroll (country) --> Posting to Financial Accounting --> Activities in the HR-System --> Wage Type Maintenance --> Define WT posting attributes
To assign a symbolic account to a G/L or Check the assignment of Sym Acc to G/L:
Payroll --> Payroll (country) --> Posting to Financial Accounting --> Activities in the AC-System -->Account Assignment --> Assign expense accounts.
