Assignment of billing document type with accounting document type

Hi
I need one information regarding SD Billing Document type assignment with accounting document types.
   Here CRM people asking me where we can see if the Billing doc type is BV( Cash Sale)  accounting document should be RV
Just go to T.Code VOFA for Billing document types. Based on this only system generate the Accouning documents RV, AB so onu2026u2026.
But how it is determining this accouning document type they want to know.
Pls advice

In VOFA where it says Document type enter the FI doc type they want to post to. Otherwise it defaults to RV.

    I have created some billing types and for them I have assigned some internal number ranges. Now when I create a billing document it is getting saved with the proper number range but no accounting document is getting generated.
    Also when I try to release the invoice I am getting an error which says " *Incorrect doc.no.: 10000009. Select document number between 0090000000 and 0099999999* "

              Billing Number Range problem ( accounting document not generated) is not an error because when you create billing document then accounting document not generated. Accounting done after posting of that billing document with VFX3 or VF02 T.Code by account department.
               And for second issue you had define number range between 0090000000 and 0099999999 for invoice so thats why it happen.

    while the it is Q1 for another company code & sales org.

    Hello,
    SD invoice document types and FI document types doesn't depend to company code. You can not set different FI document type for each company code with using standart customizing. But you can use FI substitution or SD-FI integration exit, or business transaction event exits for this case. If you want detail, I'll give you some examples how can you change FI doc types while posting to FI.

  • Billing Saved But No Accounting Document Generated

    I was trying to create billing and got the message stating "Billing saved but no accounting document generated." Does anyone know why this would happen? And does anyone know what steps to take to ensure it does not occur?

    Hi,
    This error can be caused by many different things. You should check the following possible causes:
    - net value is zero
    - accounting assignment group does not match the GL account
    - error in payment term
    One more reason could be that the posting period is closed. In that case, you need to go to the header details of the billing and change the billing date to the current month's date if the earlier date is not of the current month.

  • Blocking Billing Doc.when the accounting document do not created

    Hi Dear all,
    Someone knows to tell me how can I block a Billing Document when the Accounting Document not generate? I tried to find some customizing, but I didn´t find it.
    I´m asking because sometimes the user don´t realize the "warning message"- No accounting document Generate. If I have some option to block this billing, will be perfect for my process.

    Hi ,
    Till accounting document is  not generated Billing will have status Open, I am not clear what do you mean by Blocking .
    In tablw VBRK , you can get data for billing document for which accounting document is not generated.

  • Unbale to create new document part with same document number

    Number range assigned to the X Document Type is internal. I have created new document (0001) with Document Part 000 & Version 00. For same Document Number when i tried to create New Document part by mentioning Document Numner 0001, Document Part 001 and Version 00, it says Document Type X can be assigned to internal number range only.
    Even I tried with following selection....
    Document Number = Blank
    Document Part = 001
    Document Version = 00
    Template:
    Document = 0001
    Document Part = 000
    Document Version = 00
    Now system is creating document with new number i.e. 0002.  But we want to create another document part with same Document Number. What is the problem with internal number range for Document Number?

    hi,
    basically in partner profile i.e. in we20 , we add details to the receiver / sender port that we have created using we21.
    so what exactly we do in that is that we first use the message type for those idocs that we have created.
    now based on those message type we create a process code. now this is the reason why you cannot apply several message types with the same name in we20... as process code is unque for each message type.
    so thats why you can only assign the same message name to several idocs in we82 and then in we20 define the process code for that message type.
    it will solve your problem.

  • Controlling Document not posted upon GRS of PO with account assignt type A

    My company is going to upgrade our SAP ERP system from version 4.6C to ECC5.
    In version 4.6C, when a Purchase Order (PO) is created and assigned to:
    (1) project wbs element
    (2) asset
    Upon GRS, the following accounting documents are normally posted:
    (1) Accounting document
    (2) Profit center doc.
    (3) Spec. purpose ledger
    (4) Asset transaction
    (5) Cost accounting doc.
    Following, if I want to view the Actual Cost line items posted for the project wbs element in mind, I am able to view the details via transaction CJ74.
    However, in ECC5, simulating the same scenario as described earlier, i.e. a Purchase Order (PO) is created and assigned to:
    (1) project wbs element
    (2) asset
    Upon GRS, the following accounting document is NOT posted:
    (1)Cost accounting doc.
    (which in ECC5 is termed Controlling Document)
    As a result, I am unable to track the Actual Cost line item of the wbs element via transaction CJ74.
    This is because in normal instances, a corresponding CO document posted for the FI document posted upon GRS. What I understand is that CJ74, pulls data from CO tables and because CO tables aren't updated, I can't view this statistical cost postings.
    I would appreciate if anyone could advise the following:
    (1) Why this occurs in ECC5
    (2) How to rectify the problem

  • Billing document created but accounting document not created

    Dear SAP Gurus,
    i have a problem during posting to the accounting document.
    the scenario is like this: i have created the sales order + delivery + TO (for warehouse movement) + confirmation of warehouse + PGI + BILLING. now the problem is i am not able to post to the accounting document. i have checked that it is taking the KOFI for a/c determination procedure. it does not have a net value 0 as PR00 is taking the price 100.
    status:
    sales order XXXX completed.
    delivery XXXXXXXX completed.
    Billing XXXXXXXX completed.
    i am getting the error as accounting document is not necessary for this billing document.
    please help me with this problem

    To resolve the error, you can analyze account determination in the billing document. Process:
    Goto T.Code: VF02 & Enter Invoice number
    Next (On the top most strip) goto Environment
    Next (Select Environment) go to Account determination
    Next (In Account Determination) select Revenue Account Determination (first option)
    This will list all the condition types in the Billing document & analyze each condition & check for which G/L accounts is not determined.
    Possible SD errors:
    1. VKOA not maintained for required combination
    Solution: Maintain the combination in VKOA.
    2. Account Assignment of Customer / material not maintained in Customer / Material Master (If maintained in combination in VKOA).
    Solution:
    Option 1 (Standard solution):
    step 1: Cancel Billing Document --> Reverse PGI --> cancel Delivery --> Cancel Sales Order
    step 2: Maintain Customer master / Material Master correctly.
    step 3: Recreate sales Order --> Delivery --> PGI --> Invoicing.
    Option 2:
    Force the Account Assignment Group of Customer / Material through Debug in change mode of Billing document, which will release Billing Document to Accounting.
    3. Account Key not maintained in Pricing Procedure:
    Impact: This may create accounting document, but if condition type, which are to be posted to account, but do not have account key maintained in pricing procedure, it will not be post the relevant condition type to G/L account.
    From FI Side, you require to check that all the G/L account has been maintained through T.Code: FS00. G/L account being Master data has to be created in each client ot uploaded through LSMW / SCATT / BDC.
    In Billing Document in change mode (in the first screen where we enter Billing Document number), on the top most left hand corner, take a dropdown on Billing Document & select Release to accounting. Here you can get the under mentioned possible message:
    1. G/L account not found
    2. Cost Element not maintained for G/L account.
    In both the above cases, FI consultant requires to take corrective action.

    I.                    SALES ORDER CREATION
    Transaction VA01 à Sales order is created for the following details:
    1.       Material Normal  (TAN) : 100 CAR
    2.       Free Goods (TANN) : 10 CAR
    II.                  Subsequent processing of sales order 
    a.       Delivery(1) and Billing (1) creation for the SO with the following details :
    Material Normal (TAN) : 100 CAR
    Free Goods (TANN) : 5 CAR
    Status of accounting document after releasing billing document to Accounting: Not cleared
                    Accounting Journal:
                    A/R                                                                     xxxx
                    Sales discount                                                     xxxx
                                    General Domestic Sales                                        xxxx
                                    VAT u2013 Out(TAX)                                                    xxxx
    b.      Delivery (2) and Billing (2) is then being made for the leftover item of the Sales Order:
    Free Goods (TANN) = 5 CAR  
    Status of Accounting document after releasing billing document to Accounting: CLEARED
    Accounting Journal
    Dr. Sales Discount                                        xxxx
                            Cr. General Domestic Sales                  xxxx
    III.                Reversal of Billing (2) needs to be done
    Activities conducted:
    a.       Go to VF11 and enter Billing (2) document number
    b.      Execute!
    System response:
    Error Log:
    1)      Data inconsistency during processing of document xxxxxxx
    2)      The Billing Document xxxxxxx  is already cleared
    From the error found, we tried to reverse the cleared accounting document by using t-code FBRA:  
    System response:
    Document xxxxxx IS NOT  a clearing document
    Question:
    We have to reverse the clearing document first in order to cancel the related billing document but we keep finding this error, do Anyone have any advice to solve this issue?
    We have simulated similar transaction in IDES and no problem is found, is there any specific setting in customizing that can allow cancellation of billing document regardless of its accounting document status (Cleared or Not Cleared) ?

    It answers my question, I found the copying requirement using routine 029 was defined in the cancellation document section of the Billing type to be cancelled
    After removing, the billing document can be cancelled

  • Intercompany billing vf01 error no accounting document generated

    Hi,
    I face the problem while saving intercompany billing VF01 warning message no accounting document generated,
    when I manually realise biling VF02 it posted without giving any error message.
    I also check billing doc. type VOFA I doesnt check posting block field.

  • View CRM billing document from FB03 - Accounting document

    I am working with a client who creates some orders in R3 and now some in CRM.
    The orders are billed in their respective system.
    The CRM billing is then transfered via BDOC's into R3 which create an accounting document.
    However, in the environment tab, there is no original document.
    Does anyone know if you can access via some form of document flow or function module call from R3 to go direct to the CRM billing document?

  • Cancellation billing document has no accounting document

    I once cancelled a billing document through vf11. But accounting documents were not cancelled. That means the cancellation billing document did not generate accounting document.
    Pls tell me how to cancel accounting documents for cancelled bill?

    S1 is a SAP standard documnt type. No posting block is there in VOFA, S1 doc type.
    This is an excise invoice.Eevery time I cancel billing document, accounting docuents automatically gets cancelled. But this time I am getting the error.This document cant be released to accounting.
    I had to cancel the bill 85002300, as once the billing document was saved, only one accounting document( only for excise, cess, ecess and cenvat suspence) was generated instead of two accounting documents.
    In cancellation document 90000174, I ckecked Account determination anaalysis, KOFI00, I found account determination took place for all the entries that were there in the billing document 85002466.
    Still no accounting document cant be seen, and nither can be released.
    Pls tell how to generate account document for cancellation document

  • Assignment Field is blank in the Accounting Document of MIRO

    Hi Gurus
    I am working on ECC 6 version. I have observed in my system that for some of the vendor invoices posted using the MIRO transaction, assignment field is blank in the respective Accounting Document for the Vendor Line Item. But for GRIR Line Item Assignment field is filled with Purchase Order Number.
    My requirement is to display the Purchase Order Number in the Assignment Field (ZUONR) of the Vendor line item also and for that purpose I have assigned the Sort Key of Purchase Order in the Recon GL Account master under Control Data Tab, Sort Key Field as 010(Purchase Order No.). Also, the Vendor Master has the Sort Key as 010 (Purchase Order).
    I have applied the Note 676338 and checked and checked the structure RFPOSXEXT. It has the Assignment fields both ZUONR as well as U_ZUONR.
    Still after above changes, when I post the MIRO, the assignment field in the vendor line item of its accounting document is blank. Any clues how to fill the vendor line item's assignment filed with the purchase order number ?

    Hi Gemini,
    Sort key does no magic, it populates value from the original field from the same line item only.
    Taking this as an example...First check that PO field is populated in the Vendor Line item then only sort key will be able to populate the field else it will be blank.
    I don't think system populated PO field in the vendor line item.
    If you want to meet your requirement and contact your ABAPer and write a Substitution User-exit to populate PO Number into assignment field.
