Theres almost a trick to it for first time users, goto SETTINGS...General......Cellular (if Verizon) ....Personal Hotspot, turn it on.....turn on wifi on your Mac, select your Iphone. Enter password.
If you take too long doing it, youll need turn turn off and on real quick the "personal hotspot" slider on the Phone.......then go quick again thur the Mac.

This will work.....IF....you also have an Apple AirPort router configured to provide your wireless network.
In other words, you need to have two Apple AirPort routers to extend a wireless network.
When the AirPort Extreme is configured to "extend" the wireless of the "main" AirPort, it will provide more wireless coverage and the Ethernet ports are enabled, so you could connect your Mac Pro to any of the Ethernet ports and use that as a network and Internet connection. -

Hey Guys. I have a 1st gen dual 2.3 powerPC G5. I just recently upgraded my OS to Leopard 10.5. I cannot for the life of me, get FlashPlayer to work. I Downloaded and installed the archived 10_1r102_64 version, but it still doesn't work.
Everytime I click on a video it says I need to update to the newest version of flash, but my computer doesn't support the updated version. So I feel like I'm in a Catch-22.

Restore my iPhone 4 (iOS 5.1.1)
Check router settings (tried default settings and reset also)
Check everything in iTunes
Connect to different wifi
Upgrade my MacBook Air to Mountain Lion (1.0.8.0)
....etc.
I have everything latest, I read almost everything about it, tried tweaks, but none of this doesn't work.
When I've got my iPhone connected to Mac through USB with wifi enabled, sync work well...
Everything worked fine all the time and from day to another it doesn't work anymore.
It's a pain in the ***, I have already lost my mind. Nothing work.

Tap Settings App > Wi-Fi > turn it ON. Then go back to Settings and below General tap > iCloud. Make sure your account is there, turn ON what you like and then at bottom select Storage & Backup. Hopefully this will help you. -

More along the theme of 'itunes doesn't work' please help
had to upgrade itunes so that my new shuffle would work, however it won't open with no error message other than itunes has experienced a problem. have tried uninstalling/reinstalling etc cannot uninstall quicktime. have even gone into registry to try and get rid of it but to no avail, so, currently unable to use the ipod or access my music. really irritated that apple seem so 'unable' to help. Any ideas???
okay, let's try the following technique.
Download and install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. then use it to clear any existing QuickTime installation configuration information from your PC:

1. On the Start menu, click My Computer (or double-click My Computer on the Desktop).
2. In My Computer, open Local Disk.
3. Open Program Files.
4. Right-click on the QuickTime folder and click Delete from the shortcut menu.
5. Navigate to C:\Windows\system32\.
6. Remove the files QuickTime.qts and QuicktimeVR.qtx.
7. Restart your computer.
next, we'll try to get a fresh copy of QuickTime into your PC by doing a repair install of itunes.
switch off antivirus and antispyware applications prior to the repair install.
go into Add/Remove and select itunes. click "Change" and then click "Repair".
if the repair install goes through okay, restart the PC and try launching itunes again. does it launch properly now? -
SD DVD made in DVD studio pro doesn't work- please help!
Can't figure this problem out for the life of me - checked all forum posts available and nothing has helped. Hopefully you can help me solve this:
I made a SD DVD on a DVD-R (Verbatim 16x) with DVDSP 4.2.1 and it wont work on most DVD players - but - it DOES work on mac computers, Sony PS2, and some PCs with mpeg players.
The footage is 10 min. long (shot with DVCPRO HD 720p60) and imported as a .m2v video & .ac3 audio file using compressor (with the preset DVD Best Quality 90 minutes).
I had originally thought I made an HD DVD by mistake, but when I checked the file in DVDSP, all settings are marked SD; when opening the DVD in file manager, I also see that there are 2 bins VIDEO_TS & AUDIO_TS, so it can't be HD.
What am I doing wrong that it preventing this DVD from playing on most DVD players???? Please help!In what way does it not work, is it not doing absolutely anything at all, is playback jumpy, something else?

As you say the link doesn't work; neither does its originating domain alone. The note on the page concerned says that the calendar is valid only for 2010 and 2011, so evidently it's been withdrawn and not updated by its originator. I'm afraid that a number of the links on Apple's page have gone dead.

I'm just trying to find my purchased music. I had 344 songs on Monday; and last night there were 330. I tried to transfer the missing music only like Amy Winehouse; but the system said the music was there. It's under purchased history, but not on my computer.
There seems to an issue with the current build of iTunes not indexing the Music playlist correctly. Download the current iTunes Free Single of the Week. I know it sounds odd, but it should fix the problem. If that doesn't work close iTunes and delete the hidden file sentinel from inside the main iTunes folder, then start iTunes again. It should run a consistency check when it starts up which might resolve the issue.

OS upgrade disc won't read.
Then you may have a bad optical drive. Does it read any other discs? If it does then the Snow Leopard DVD may be defective.
