    All,
We've BOJ Data Services XI installed.
Would like to integrate with SAP, does anyone know how or have good information about Business Object and SAP Integration?
    Please adivce.

    Hi Lynn,
If you need to have Business Objects and SAP work together in conjunction you need to have the Business Objects Integration Kit for SAP. Integration Kit provides the database drivers and other features for reporting off SAP.
Link to download the useru2019s Guide:
    -     Please go to Http://help.sap.com
    - Click on Business Objects tab
    - Select the product as Integration Kit for SAP
User guide: Business Objects Integration Kit for SAP Useru2019s Guide.
    I hope that helps you.

  • OSB and SAP integration using XML web services

    Hi Team,
We are designing solution for asynchronous and synchronous scenarios integration between OSB and SAP using web services.
Can you please provide some pointers which tells about how OSB and SAP integration works.
    For an example:
If we are designing the above scenario between SAP PI and SAP ECC, we know the below communication protocols are avilable:
    1.Proxy
    2.RFC
    3.IDOCs
And also we know how adapters will get connect.
Now ODB wants to connect to SAP to send and receive data. Please help me with information like:
    1. Is Proxy, RFC or IDOCs are applicable for OSB as well?
    2. How webservice scenarios can be implemented?
    Thanks in Advance.
    regards,
    Vicky

    Hi,
    >>>and what are the Forms ? for SAP Business Connector Related Postings ??
try WM (webmethods forums) or here since this is the only middleware related forum on SDN
    >>> I have a requirement to integrate sap to non-sap with Business Connector !!
    excellent
    >>>We need to Generate the SAP Data In xml Format ? and the Non-sap System can Understand Only XML Formated data.
    fairly easy
    >>>>Is there any way Business Connector Box can Pull the XML file from R/3 Application Server and store the file in the Business Connector Server. from that How do we Sent XML file to Non-sap. How do we Integrate ??
business connector has both IDOC and RFC adapters so it can
receive data from SAP (IDOC, RFC), send data to SAP (IDOC, RFC)
and pull data from SAP (RFC only)
    >>>>what transaction code will trigger this event ? I mean is ther any SAP Transaction Code to Integrate Business Connector?
either transaction from SAP (for sending IDOCs for example) or you can schedule (via BC scheduler)
an RFC call to SAP that will fetch the data and put it in an XML file
    good luck,

  • MS Active Directory (LDAP) and SAP Integration

    Hi all!
don't know if I'm right here in this forum, but:
I'm using MS Windows Server 2003 and installed Active Directory as LDAP-System on the one hand side, on the other I'm using a 6.20 ABAP Web AS.
I'd like to synchronize the User Storage on these two systems.
Does anyone have experience in doing this? I'm facing a tricky exception in depth of my customizing too complex to explain right now. The problem concerns the mapping of LDAP-Fields and SAP-Fields.
    Thankx,
    Christoph

    Hi Christoph,
This is the mySAP ERP forum. Perhaps you can post your question in the Web AS forum (SAP NetWeaver Application Server).
For now: here is a link to a video regarding SAP Active Directory integration:

I found it by searching on Active Directory here on sdn:

  • Crystal Reports and SAP Integration Issue

    Gurus,
I am in the process of reinstalling my SAP B-One(2007 A) Server, after SQL Server and SAP Server and Client installtions and its related patch PL10. My machine is fully loaded and to go, but I am stuck with Crystal Reports Basic 2008 installtion.
After installting the below for Crystal Reports:
    1) .NetPlatform SP1 setup (dotnetfx35sp1)
    3) Crytatl Runtime
    4) Crystal Setup
    5) Crystal SAP Viewer
    6) CR2008_SP3
My integration between SAP and CR are fine but after first log off and log on of SAP B-One.
    Shows the below messages:
    - "The new version of Add-on Crystal Reports for SAP Business One is
installed. Upgrade the Add-on in the current Common DB."
    followed by the below one.
"Wrong Executable digital signature for Add-On".
Any advices on how can I upgrade the Common DB.
    Faisal

    Hi  Faisal,
Is this issue realted to the previous thread you have posted. It looks similiar.
Re-installation meaning that you had installed aprevious version and now upgrading or is it a full installation.

  • LDAP and SAP integration

    Hi,
As a part of a project requirement, we are trying to integrate Solution manager with LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol).
Using the directory service, we are trying to synchronize the CUA (Central user administration within Solution manager) with Active directory of LDAP so that we can maintain the User data centrally from a single point in LDAP.
    Problem description:
Currently, Client has implemented the LDAP and CUA integration and when a new user is added in LDAP, it is automatically getting copied in all SAP systems and at real time, when the useru2019s u201CLASTNAMEu201D field is updated in LDAP, it is automatically getting synchronized in all SAP systems.
But, If any attribute other than u201CLASTNAMEu201D is changed (i.e. The expiry /validity date of the User in LDAP, GLTGB in SAP), then the field value is not getting synchronized in the SAP Central User Adm.
    Our Findings:
We have checked the configurations and imported mappings in SAP Solution Manager and everything looks fine. We have debugged the standard program RSLDAPSYNC_USER extensively and found out that an RFC call to function module LDAPRFC_SEARCH is not returning the expected values.
    Thanks
    Deb

    Hi Deb,
It would be really nice if you can elaborate on the configurations that need to be done as part of this integration. I hope, you have been successfull by now.
Actually, I too need to perform the same as part of a project.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Informatica and SAP integration

    Hi,
I have user manual how to connect Informatica and SAP. There are some examples, like.
    1. an ABAP program - generated by Informaticas tool, deployed to SAP, runs on SAP, result is dumped into some file, and then imported to informatica over NFS or FTP
    2. by running a BAPI or RFC
    3. ALE, receiving or sending IDOCs directly from/to SAP.
And that all is OK, but I'm curious how to connect Informatica with XI/PI? Is there some blog or user-manual, is there some specific adapter?
    thx
    Mario

    Hey,
    >how to connect Informatica and SAP
Data integration using the ABAP program
    IDoc integration using ALE
    Data integration using RFC/BAPI functions
    Data migration integration
    Business content integration
If you wann to use PI in between  SAP  & Informatica as  Prateek  & Shaba mentioned you can use File to connect Informatica & PI.
    Cheers

  • Error using CR 11.5 with dynamic cascading prompts and SAP Integr.Kit XI R2

    Hi,
we are using the SAP Integration Kit XI R2 (patched up to FP4.3) in order to report SAP BW data (BW 3.5) in Crystal Reports 11.5 (SP 4). In order to access the stored BEx Queries we use either the SAP BW Query or the SAP BW MDX Query Driver (_we DO NOT use any universes_). Everything seems to work fine ex cept when we want to use dynamic cascading LOVs within CR. For example when a user runs a report she/he should select first a customer group (0CUST_GROUP prompt) and then the customer (0DEBITOR). Defining the cascading prompts with dynamic LOVs is no problem in CR and when the report runs (either in CR Designer or in InfoView) both prompts appear. Still when we do a selection for the first prompt (0CUST_GROUP) we get a 0x8004380D error with the text message stating that the system is not able to retrieve the LOV data (I guess for the 0DEBITOR prompt). Please note that we do not get a corba error and no firewalls are activated. We checked the trace files of the page server and found out that there was an error calling the createRowsetCursor function within enginekernel.cpp.
Any hints on our case will be mostly appreciated. We have the feeling that we are hitting a bug here but maybe we are overseeing something.
    Cheers
    Stratos
PS: Please note that if we access directly the ODS Object (SAP ODS driver) the dynamic cascading prompts on exactly the same InfoObject (or better their keys in the ODS) work without a problem.

    Hi Stratos
You can define LOV's in universes but unfortunately you can not use universes based on SAP in Crystal Reports.
You can define parameters in the Bex query which are passed on to Crystal Reports, so you don't need to define them in the Business Objects tools. Please have a look at the SAP Integration Kit user's guide

  • Crystal Reports 10 and SAP Integration Kit

    Hi,
we have a customer using crystal reports 10. Is it possible to use the SAP Integration Kit for version 10? When installing the Kit (Version XI 3.0) there is an error that we do not use CR 2008.
    Thanks in advice
    Claudia

    Hello Claudia,
the SAP Integration Kit is always dependent on the product releases. there is a Crystal Reports v 10 and Crystal Enterprise v 10 and a SAP Integration Kit v 10 - but keep in mind that v 10 is already out of support.
Crystal Reports 2008 requires the SAP Integration Kit XI 3.x and BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 3.x

  • BOE 3.1 and SAP Integration Kits 3.1

I have installed BOE XIR 2, and DataService 3.0 on this machine (machine A).
I dont use much on XIR2.
I build some simple data flow in DataService 3.0, the DataService use the BOE 3.0 that sitting on the other machine (machine B).
Now I have downloaded new BOE 3.1 and would like to install the SAP Integration Kit 3.1 on mcahine A.
I have uninstalled BOE XIR 2 from machine A. (I noticed that the Tomcat is still there, can't be uninstalled).
I have now installed BOE 3.1 on mahcine A. Everyting seem OK, and I point back to use the existing Tomcat.
    Installation finish, no error.
I now go to Start ->Program ->BOE 3.1 menu, I dont get to see the BOE InfoView and BOE CMS.
When I click on the Start ->Program ->BOE 3.1 ->Designer, on the Designer logon screen, it is Machine B that appear on the System field. When I change to Machine A manually and logon, I have error message.
Any idea why the BOE 3.1 InfoView and CMS is missing?
Why it is machine B appear as the System?
Why I can't change manually to machine A? It seem like the CMS is missing, but why?
Please help, need this to demo the client...

  • ESB and SAP integration

    Hi Gurus,
We have a scenario, a third party system sending msg to Enterprise Service Bus which then send the idocs to SAP event management system.
For this we need to establish a aconnection between ESB and SAP event management servers.
Can someone please help in making this connection.
Which ports needs to be opened?
    Tushar Pathak

my understanding is that SAP event management system is an R3 / ECC system (is it?)
    Anyway if the system is capable of receiving IDocs then follow this;
    Sent/Receive IDOC:
you need to do the following:
    In XI
    SM59 - R3 connection pointing to R3
IDX1 - define the port with the above dest.
    In R3
    SM59 - R3 connection pointing to XI
WE21 - define the port with the above dest.
    WE20 - Partner profile type outbound/Inbound

  • BMC Remedy and SAP integration question

    Hello Gurus,
My client would like to integrate BMC Remedy and SAP via Web Services, The steps we took to achieve this were:
    1) Went into BMC Remedy Developers studio and created a WSDL file with the selected forms we would like to pull into SAP
    2) Tested this in SOAPUI 4.0 which worked perfectly and gave us the results we were looking for
    3) Went into SAP, Created Proxy in SE80 using the WSDL file, Created port in LPCONFIG and activated
When we go to test this is SE80 however and we input the same parameters that are in SOAPUI 4.0 we are getting the error below:
SOAP:1001 CX_SXML_PARSE_ERROR:SXML reader/writer exception. Error while parsing on the XML stream: undeclared Namespace
To me it appears that SAP is having an issue reading the URN instead of Http but that is what BMC is spitting out when you create a WSDL file in thier BMC developers studio
Here is my WSDL file below and is there something that needs to be changed in this file so that SAP can parse the information??

  • Salesforce CRM and SAP Integration

    Hello Experts,
I am supposed to come up with salesforce integration with SAP. Can you please let me know how do I start? What is that I can pick up from SAP to integrate this with salesforce and what are the hardware details required?
If somebody has worked on this please do let me know.
    Thank you in advance,
    Cheers,
    Deepak

    salesforce integration with SAP
    salesforce->XI->SAP
    1) send salesforce data through webservice to SAP XI. it will be done by using SOAP adapter.
    2) XI will send data to SAP by idoc/rfc/proxy,depending on scenario.
this thread ll bring clarity on the same :
    Salesforce.com integration with XI

  • Siebel and SAP Integration (with appintegrator)

    Hello,
I try to integrate Siebel in the Portal (EP6) with appintegrator.
Has someone some documentation on such integration ?
Is there easier way to integrate Siebel in the Portal ?
    Thanks,
    Fabien

    Hi Fabien
You can also make use of the connector framework for your integration scenario. Check out this link.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/8c/d7d6409ff68631e10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm
The documentation for appintegrator is also available at the same place.
    Hope that was helpful.
    Best Regards
