Attachment Category Default
When adding an attachment to the requisition in iProcurement, the category field is defaulted to 'Internal to Requisition'. We would like this value to be removed from the list. Does anyone know how to remove this from the list?.
I try to update FndDocumentcategoryVO.xml file, But did not work. Please help guys.....
I could't find latest version for OA frame work Developer's guide. I have one that is dated Jun-17-2005.
Where can I get newer version of OA frame work Developer's guide.

Page can't be accessed due to security policy, category default-it's my homepage which has been my homepage forever.

I suddenly can't access my homepage - I get this message: "Your page is blocked due to a security policy that prohibits access to Category default ". This has been my homepage for years and I've never had this problem before.

Also do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.

How to add a custom Attachment Category

Hi All,
When we add Attachement in standard apps pages( by clicking on Add Attachment Button)
The Attachment Page will be opened,

When you add the attachments, you can mention the Category(from message choice, which will be pickup from a VO

I have got an option of Adding a new category from "Application Developer" -> "Attachments" -> "Categories"
I could add the categories, But how to get those newly added categories in a standard apps page,

If you're talking about a playback controller within the rich media annotation (RMA) then you need to write your own widget in Flash or Flex, and then place the video and widget files using the multimedia "Add Flash" tool in Acrobat instead of the "Add Video" tool. Aside from a bunch of proprietary code to handle events, commenting and the API (which you can live without for basic play-pause-scrub applications), video RMAs are just an embedded SWF file containing an FLVPlayback component. The skin and the video file itself are added to the RMA as resource entries. You can build your own version and have it display whatever controls you want, provided you know how to write ActionScript!
If you're talking about a controller that's external to the RMA (e.g. a series of links or buttons elsewhere on the page) then in the past you would use FLV video files and the 'cue points' feature that's built into Acrobat - however Adobe removed the ability to create FLV files in the latest version of CC, so unless you have CS6 or earlier it's a non-starter. Instead you can manually set playback start points using the special "multimedia operations" link action in your PDF - though stopping playback at a defined point is very difficult without FLV cues. For that you're back to writing your own widget.

Mail Attachment window defaulting to bottom file

When attaching a document to an email, the window opens up and defaults to the bottom file, the oldest.
This only happens in Mail. Does this happen to anybody else?

On my machine a single click on a Word document in an email opens the Word doc, no double click required. I can see the Word icon before I click on it, it is not just a generic icon.
I can also right click and select the application, like you suggest you should be able to do.
Not sure why it does not work for you though as there are no settings in Mail that I can see that would affect it.

How to attach a default master page to a aspx site page ?

I make a aspx file in the sharepoint designer 2013, and I place a hyperlink inside the form.
It do well
Then I try to attach a master page.
In the sharepoint designer menu I click at the style button, then click at the attach button and select
the default master page "oslo"
But when I open the site in the internet browser, the site comes with an error.

According to your post, an error occurred when you added the master page to a aspx site page.
Please do as follows:
1. Use "~sitecollection/_catalogs/masterpage/custom.master" instead of "~masterurl/custom.master" .
2. Remove the form tag.

Punchout Product Category Default

Hi everybody,
I am trying to default (set in the extended attributes in PPOMA_BBP)the product category in punchout catalog when EBP does not have the vendor product category. I know this could be done in earlier versions of EBP. I am trying to do the same in SRM 5 and it is not working. Has anybody run into this issue?
Also I want to default a product category to PCAT1 if the data in Shopping basket is from catalog CAT1 and default the product category to PCAT2 if the data is from CAT2. Is there a way to do this (maybe through a BADI)?

You can use method ENRICH_ITEM_DATA in BADI BBP_CATALOG_TRANSFER to do this.
You need to change the product category entry within the item in the cart. The catalogue name is also stored at this level so this entry can be used to determine what the category should be changed to.
I would have thought that the default category in SRM 5.0 should still come through. I unfortunatley haven't currently got a system to test it on to check for you though.
Input from other forum members on this would be gratefully received.

While creating Bill of Material through transaction code IB01 system is not taking the item category automatically once the material entered in Component field.May i know how to make it default so that when users put the material no. the sysem automatically capture the Item category.

Sorry for giving late response.Atually i tried the OICA T-Code there i found against the dummy i have to select the Item category as default.Suppose i select "L" Category.Then while creating the BOM system gives bydefault L category even though the material is N Category.
My requirement is not to set as default.I want the category should be come once we put the material No. in Component field as per the material category.May i know how to get this.If i am missing some setting please guide me.

Punchout Catalog product category - Default product category mapped

Hi,
Currently we are getting default product category even though punchout catalog is sending different prooduct categories?
We are using UNSPSC categoires and even punchout categories also same but default product category is coming not the punch out product category. Please note that if i click on Describe requirement then one default product category is coming up so same product category is coming for punch out catalog items.
Can you please give me some idea how this is picking up.

Attach to default server

Hello! Need some help with a problem in our current environment. Under the advanced option in the client edirectory settings we set our default tree, context and server. Although for some reason some workstations will try and authenticate to other edirectory servers in our tree and not the server we set in the client. How can we prevent this from happening? Whenever a workstation authenticates to the wrong edirectory server the users mapped drives will not map correctly. Thanks in advance for any help.

All you need to do is correct your map statements to point to the server as well as the volume/directory, they are best done by eDir object:

Default Storage Category for easyDMS

Hello Everyone,
I currently assigned default storage category (using KPRO) for my user on,
easyDMS -> Organize -> Preferences -> System (Tab)
How can I make this storage category defaulted for all the users using easyDMS?

Hello Chandu,
I already have above mentioned settings available in SPRO, these settings works for GUI and NWBC.
What that means is, there is no pop up window with Storage Categories to select while performing Document Check-In.
In easyDMS, system still asks user to manually select the Storage Category, I added Storage category for my user profile on easy preferences and I believe this needs to be done for all the users using easyDMS.
I would like to know how can I apply this change to all the users from configuration/system point of view.

If I DO NOT set the indicator for making a product category as default, SRM takes the last one from the list in extended attributes?
I would like the field 'product category' in the shopping cart to be blank?

Which SRM version are you using ?
It's a standard SAP behaviour.
Product categories have to be available into SRM !! It is a mandatory master data.
You can use method ENRICH_ITEM_DATA in BADI BBP_CATALOG_TRANSFER to do this.
To change data (product category...) from the catalog to the shopping cart, please use BBP_CATALOG_TRANSFER badi.
Or
Implement the BADI "BBP_F4_READ_ON_ENTRY".
Or
Implement combination of BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI as well as BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI.

You can use the field CATEGORY_ID in the structure BBP_OCI_ENRITEM for the Product Category.

I've got the following entry in the application.properties file too...

From what we can see we believe the code is getting a null pointer because of the following method in the WebDeterminationsServletContext class.

We believe the getRealPath(path), highlighted in red, is returning null. Any ideas how we can resolve this?
2) The second issue I'm facing is with regards the plugins.libraries property in the application.properties file. I've got the entry as

3) Also, does anyone know if it's possible to deploy a web-determinations.war file containing additional internal application code? What we're attempting to do is deliver a single war file which not only holds the web determination code but also all the code for an application which wraps the OWD within it. At present this just isn't working. I'm not sure what the conflict is exactly. The only way i seem to be able to get this working is by deploying the code in two seperate war files.
Any help on these issues would be greaty appreciated.

(2) is being caused because your data adaptor plugin is not installed properly. The jar that contains your plugin needs to go in the WEB-INF/lib directory and you must specify the fully qualified class name in the plugin.libraries property of the application.properties file.
If you haven't provided a custom data adaptor, Web Determinations will configure and attach the default one for use instead, which is file based. If you are deploying to WebLogic as an unxeploded war, you must configure the directory the default data directory the plugin will uses by specifying an absolute path that your instance of Web Determinations has read/write permissions to in the xds.file.path property of the application.properties file. In your case (1) is basically being caused by (2) since if the your data adaptor was loaded correctly the default one wouldn't load at all.
As for (3) yes it's likely possible, provided you don't have library conflicts. How it's done really depends on what these additional customisations consist of.

Defaulting a PDF from material master to a purchase order

Hi All,
I am an SD cosultant working in MM also. I have a requirement wherein I can store some a PDF document in the material master and whenever I create a Purchase Order, the attachment should default in to the document. The idea is to send the PO by mail and also the PDF file should also be sent along with it.
I do not have any idea about DMS and treid to look out for solution in this forum but am unable to find the right answer. Can somebody please help me by detailing the steps to configure this. I tried using CV01N and gave the material number as the object link. However, it does'nt get defaulted in the PO. It seems that I need to give th PO item in the object link and this does'nt serve my prupose at all.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a lot for responding. You have cleared my doubt and helped me save good time. We are open to some ABAP development including using exits. But I am not clear where to start with. I am looking at something like this:
I shall store the document object in the material master first using the generic object service option. Whenever a PO is created it would issue an output using a smartform and print to PDF. Now the smart form would also print the object image with reference to the material number and it's object. My ABAPer tells me that he can modify the smartform to facilitate the image embedding. But I do not know how to develop the spec because I am not aware of the relevant tables and fields for the object. do you think this is feasible ?
