Attempting .shtml extension produces CF7 MX server error

"Either the Macromedia application server is unreachable or
it does not have a mapping to process this request."
That's the error. In IIS6 I have the .shtml file extension
mapped to E:\CFusionMX7\runtime\lib\wsconfig\jrun_iis6.dll which is
the same dll that our
functioning CFM pages use. I've tried toggling verify file
exists and script engine to no avail. "All verbs" is selected in
IIS as well. Is there somewhere else outside of II6 I should be
configuring in order to recognize non-CFM extensions so that they
are processed just like a CFM?

You may have 2 disks with the current version active in disk1 and the new version in disk2 [which is creating similar problem has you have].
You can use the commands 'show map' and 'map primary-boot' to select which disk to use.
If you want to delete the file manually, you can use the command in llama mode 'ap_file delete c:/...'.
If that does not help, you will have to reboot and enter the offlined diagnostic mode to clean your disk.

There appears to be some server side issues going on at this point in time as you are not the only one with the problem. I would suggest trying again in a few hours, or tomorrow, and see if they are resolved at that point.

Selecting a link under Illustrator's "learn essentials"tab produces an "Internal Server Error - Read" message

I have a web page that contains a ReportViewer control. I am trying to display a report, which is an .rdl file located on the SSRS server, in this ReportViewer control. I have set the ReportPath and ReportServerUrl correctly. I am

The error "The request failed with HTTP status 404: Not Found." means the ReportServerURL configured in the ReportViewer control is invalid.
Please follow these steps to solve the issue:
Logon the Report Server machine.
Open the Reporting Services Configuration Manager.
Copy the Report Server URL from 'Web Services URL'.
Logon the application server(in this case, it is the server that host the web page), check if we can use the URL we got from step 3 to access the Report Server. If so, please replace the ReportServerURL in the ReportViewer control with this URL. If it is
not available, could you please post the error message.
Additionaly, we don't need to provide the extension for a server report. The ReportPath should be like: /<reports folder>/<report name>

Internal Server Error while using Frontpage Server Extension on SharePoint2013

I am working on a Proof of concept where I am trying to use Frontpage server Extension - RPC protocol to upload the files in sharepoint document library using "/_vti_bin/_vti_aut/author.dll". I am using following URL to upload bytes to SharePoint
Document library.
http://SPServer/Site/_vti_bin/_vti_aut/author.dll?method={0}&service_name=put+document&document=[document_name=<Encoded document path>;meta_info=[]]&put_option=overwrite,migrationsemantics&keep_checked_out=false&comment=
The same code works on one sharepoint environment but not on other. I am getting Internal Server Error (500) exactly when i try to execute the webrequest.GetResponse for the url given above.
Any pointers will be greatly appretiated.

Hi,
According to your description, my understanding is that when you use the Front Server Extension to upload the files, it occur the error "Internal Server Error(500)".
As in your another environment, it works fine, for a better troubleshooting, I suggest you can do as the followings:
1. Using Fiddler to check the web request which occurs error to find the detailed error message and you can compare if there are something difference between the two environments.
2. Check the Windows server event log to check if there are something error message in it.

Anyone know why since May 18th I get this when checking my POP3 mail from Mail? 'The server returned the error: The attempt to send data to the server "(null)" failed.' Looked at all the debates on here, nothing works. APPLE?!

<rant>I have seen many people complaining about this. I've seen lots of suggestions; change your POP3 SSL number, twist your knee backwards whilst standing on just your little finger. Nothing works. I'd like to not have to migrate to a new Mail software.

MY SOLUTION REPOSTED FROM ANOTHER THREAD:
I've just solved a similar issue.
I have a dedicated server running Plesk 9.5 and when I upgraded to iLife 11 and Snow Leopard this error appeared. I could quickly click "get mail" and I'd get all my mail, but only 3-4 of my 9 mail accounts would connect. Theo others would have the error:
"The server error encountered was: The attempt to read data from the server..."
I found solutions for those using IMAP mail:
modify the /etc/courier-imap/imapd configuration file and change MAXDAEMONS from 40 to 80 and MAXPERIP from 4 to 40. This allows all the machines behind my home firewall to connect to multiple accounts on the e-mail server with mailbox caching enabled.
I'd made this change on my server but it didn't seem to have any effect. It dawned on me that I'm using POP, not IMAP. So I found in /etc/courier-imap/pop3d the same settings. I changed the MAXDAEMONS from 40 to 80 and MAXPERIP from 4 to 40 and voila, all my connections concurrently worked.
This has taken me more than two days to fix and I hope posting this helps someone else with the same issue.

This is occurring on the website Virgin Mobile. I was asked to perform some upgrades on my computer and now I am unable to get the content of my call history to display on a screen within this website. The 2nd window will display quickly and then shrink down before showing the call history content.

Are you using the original gray-faced OS X DVDs that came with the system (if so, what OS X level does it say on the disk) or a retail copy of OS X 10.6 or another gray-faced OS X disk from another system? You can't use a gray-faced OS X disk from, for example, an iMac or MacBook Pro, to install on your MacBook.
Was it originally delivered with an OS X level that is greater than what you're trying to install? You can't install an earlier level than what came with the system.
Did you boot to the DVD, and use Disk Utility to create one disk partition, then reboot and try to install?

I have following problem with concurrent manager logs and outputs (I am on R12, windows):
"An error occurred while attempting to establish an Applications File Server connection with the node FNDFS_APPLTOP_eviasl. There may be a network configuration problem, or the TNS listener on node FNDFS_APPLTOP_eviasl may not be running. Please contact your system administrator."
There is plenty of similar threads and several metalink notes (including below) about it, but mine seems to be slightly different issue.
Troubleshooting the "Error Occurred While Attempting to Establish an Applications File Server Connection" [ID 117012.1]
As you can see from error message it says node name is FNDFS_APPLTOP_eviasl, but uname -n returns only eviasl. Where this APPLTOP is coming from?
J:\oracle\VIS\inst\apps\VIS_eviasl\ora\10.1.2\network\admin\tnsnames.ora contains entries like below one (whole file is very long, but it does not contain entry with APPLTOP):

I am having problems viewing reports on a HP Unix system. I get the error, "An error occurred while attempting to establish an Application File Server connection with the node...."
This server was working as a secondary DNS server and we moved the DNS server to a microsoft exchange server. I pointed the DNS server on this Unix system to the new ip address.
When I try to start the Apps listener, I get an error ..:TNS-12545: Connect failed because target host or object does not exist"

Both the database and the applications run on a single node (HP Unix 11.0) system. I did add the IP address and the host.domain.com to the host file under /etc/hosts file but now I can't even start the database listener.
I am sure it is the DNS server change that messed something. It was working fine until then.
I get this error when I try to start the database listener.

I am getting the following error message while trying to configure a database for a Reporting Service Server. Both SQL Server and Reporting server are 2012 named instances. I have 2014 instances as well on the same server.

According to your description, you want to change a report server database for Reporting Services. But it fails on the last step and returns a error. Right?
In this scenario, it seems you are creating a report server database on another server via remote connection. Based on the error message, it has issues on executing the script for generating new database. Please check if you have permission to connect the
server and create a new database. Also please check if the Reporting Services Windows services is working properly.

Server error: "The attempt to read data from the server '(null)' failed"

Multiple times during each day my client (Mail.app) puts up a little exclamation mark "!" next to the mail account hosted on our Leopard Server. Clicking on this little alert icon pops up a message that reads:
+There may be a problem with the mail server or network. Verify the settings for account “Leopard Server Account” or try again.+
+The server returned the error: The attempt to read data from the server “(null)” failed.+
I can make the "!" go away by choosing Mailbox>Synchronize>Leopard Server Account. And everything seems peachy but it inevitably pops up again in another hour or two. It's annoying because I'm not sure if mail is getting through or not when the "!" is up.
Any ideas why this is happening?

I receive a server error when attempting to sign in with an existing apple id to set up a new matchbook air

I have 2 apple ID's, one for an IPAD and the other for an IPHONE. I have just purchased a new macbook air and when setting it up, I receive a 'server error' meesage when attamepting to sign in with either of the 2 pre existing apple id's.
These pre exisiting ID's all work correctly with IPAD and IPHONE.
Everything I have looked up says that I should be able to use either of these apple ID's to set up my new macbook air. I shoud not have to create a new apple ID or change passwords.
I cannot progress with setting up the macbook air without signing in.
How do I fix this?

Rebooting - Failed
Logging in to iTunes - Failed
Logging into itunes Store - Failed
Logging into iTunes Genius - SUCCESS I woulnd't have thought it would make a difference but it does Then just log into the 'other' services with iTunes.

According to your description, there is a 500 internal server error when you select any Option in your OWA.
Based on my research, we can try the following steps:
1. Check whether Virtual Directories Authentication configured properly. Enable the ECP Virtual Directory with Anonymous and Basic Authentication.
2. Check on the Application Pools to view whether ECP Application Pool is running on .NET Framework v4.0. It maybe the incompletely installation of Framework that causes this error.
If so, We can try to run the following command as Administrator:
%windir%\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319\aspnet_regiis.exe -i
Or change the MSExchangeECPAppPool from .NET Framework from v4.0 to v2.0. Then restart IIS.
