Audio not in sync with TV download

I just downloaded "Lost" from iTunes.
The video streaming was excellent, but the audio was out of sync with the video.
Is there a fix I can do?

I just bought a used ibook G3 and am having the same problems with video and audio being out of sync with itunes. Lost TV show, the video is slow and audio is correct. video pauses for a sec while audio goes on. I have the lastest version of quicktime. Any idea how to fix this?

I am importing many Hi 8 tapes using a Sony video walkman GV-D800 thru a firewire 400 port on my Macbook pro, when I play it back in imovie the audio/voice is not in sync with the lip movement of the people in the video, there is a 1-3 second delay. If I play back the same video I captured using QuickTime Player there are no sync problems? I am new at this so what am I doing wrong?
BTW. I also imported HDV using my HDV camera and there are no sync problems at all. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Bluetooth audio not in sync with video on iPad 2 with iOS 6

I noticed that after I upgraded my iPad 2 to iOS 6, there was a problem with I use my A2DP Bluetooth headset (Jabra Halo) with my iPad 2. The audio is no longer in sync with the video playback! And it's really annoying. This problem does not exist when I plug in a headset to the iPad.
Is anyone else facing this issue? I only has one bluetooth headset so I'm not sure if this is a problem with my Jabra Halo headset or the iOS 6. This used to work without any issues with iOS 5.

Audio not in Sync with Video in FCP

Hi People, i'm new to this, hoping to find some support.
I have Final Cut Studio 2, im doing an Apple Pro Training series book - 'Final Cut Pro-Beyond the Basics' and im having a problem of the audio not syncing with the video. If i simply play the sequence, the video is ahead by about 7 seconds, and if i stop and start playback (edit) it remains out of sync. However, if i let the sequence play through and loop, when it restarts at the beginning, it appears fine and all fixed, until i stop plyback and start it again. So, the only way to have it work right (to check my edit) is to continue to let the sequence loop and it fixes itself?? In QT it says the clip is DV 720 * 480, 23.98 fps, and so ive checked that in FCP, the settings are the same, and ive played around extensively with the real time plyback settings and sequence settings, but nothing fixes it apart from letting it play til it loops!!!???
Has anyone had this??
Am i missing a setting here?? It seems to have been like this since the update to 10.5.3

Hi People, i have found the answer to my question and thought i might post the cause so anyone else who gets caught can get it sorted.
The answer ended up being that i had an aggregate device as my audio interface (because i have 2 audio interfaces) and so the audio was being delayed in being processed. So i deleted the device in my Audio MIDI Setup (audio page) and thhus, its all good. Quite painfull after a FC reinstall! Ha!!

Audio Out of Sync with Itunes downloaded Movie

I have searched on here for an answer, but have found none, so I go to the great Mac experts. I have downloaded two shows from Itunes in the last 4 days and during playback on my G4 the audio is out of sync with the picture. This has never happened before. I just updated Itunes with the latest update about a week ago. Is anyone having this problem, and better yet, any experts out there care to weigh in on a solution? It's very annoying. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I downloaded a 90 minute TV show and it becomes out of sync @ 51 minutes in. I have no idea why and this has never happened before. Can't seem to find any explanations online so any solutions you find would be greatly appreciated...

AE CS6 AUDIO NOT IN SYNC WITH VIDEO

for some reason my video in AE that i am rendering is not in sync audio wise however
i have the original file and the audio is fine. why is it that in AE the video is not in sync?
i previewed it many time in different scenes
however when the video hits about 2mins the video suddenly becomes off sync
even tho the original video i have isnt. Can anyone explain why?
oh and the frame rate in my video is 30 just incase if anyone asks

Ok my video is in an mp4 format i usally play my media files in vlc
and no i did not render the video as of yet nor did i use some kind of adobe media coder
its a raw film from me playing a video game in my videos folder
the audio is pefect when i play it in vlc however
for some reason when i play in AE the audio suddenly becomes off sync and the audio is ahead of the video

ive rendered many videos already and this hasnt happened before so why is it happening all of a sudden?

When I play back the video from the camera, the audio is not synchronized with the video. The video appears to be behind by about 2 seconds. Is this normal or is there some setting to correct the problem?

Yes, there is a simple correction.
The problem is in your computer, it lacks enough power to operate to your satisfaction.
This has been posted before....... I reciently purchased a powerfull laptop because i could not enjoy my videos on my 2.4 mhz single core older computer.
Your camcorder is more powerfull than your computer is...Ha,Ha,Ha....
You can do as I did, set your Vado HD to VGA mode, this will ease the requirements of your computer a little...but then when you get a modern computer you will wish you had all your videos in HD+.........

Audio not in sync with picture

I am using the Creative Live webcam.
When ever I record a video the picture looks ok, but isn't synched up with the audio.
I am not sure what the settings should be by default, and I can't seem to find the right codex to make them match up.

in that particular video the picture is really fast, the audio normal.
sometimes the picture is slower than the audio.

Audio not in sync with footage.

I batch captured a tape full of clips only to find that the audio didn't properly sync. Is there a way to adjust the clips all at once to avoid recapturing? Audio is off by about -23 frames or 1 second (shot 24PA).

See the manual Part II Rough Editing p214. Yep you can do it! There are loads of ways to do it... select them all and drag, select them all and type +23 etc. Read up and you'll find loads of ways to do it in the docs,

HT1143 audio not in sync with video

Just purchased applt tv 1080p (new) but it seems like the audion is about 2 to 3 seconds of sync from the actual video/movie... tryed several movies, I have also installed the movie on my ipad and it works fine only when streaming from computer to TV.

Downloaded movie sound not in sync with video

My downloaded itunes movie audio is not in sync with the video. It's like viewing a foreign film without the subtitles. This problem persists with all my existing itune movies. Can this problem be resolved or should I discontinue itune movies purchases.

Ok i found the solution. Installed with compatibility mode of Windows XP.

As the title says, on ATV2 after the 5.0 update, Netflix audio is not in sync with video.

Audio Skimming not in sync with actual Audio

Hi Guys,
Since about a week or so, my Audio Skimming seems a little off. When turned on, and actually skimming, it let's me hear something that's at least 4 seconds off. I have no idea how to fix this, so all help is needed

Audio SFX not in sync with input string playback

The audio 'key clicking' sound that occurs during playback as an input string is animated on the screen is not in sync with the characters... Its about .5 seconds late.
Is there a way to adjust this?

While the posted solution to my sync issue could very well correct my problem, the poster presumes I am computer literate, which I am not. lol
could the solution provider please explain the solution as is it were being given to a 6 year old? Although most 6 year old's are possibly more computer literate than I. lol

I believe the default transfer option for TV Shows is to transfer all unplayed TV Shows. If you've already played them, this may be the reason they are not transferring any longer. Double check the preferences:
1) Connect your iPod to the computer and select it when it appears in iTunes under source (on the left).
2) Click the TV Shows tab
3) Make sure it is set to transfer all TV Shows, not just unplayed ones.
4) Click Apply/Ok
