Im using trial captivate 7 and i need to import audio to the silde and the option is blocked is tht normal?

No, normally you should have all the features. Can you show a screenshot of that 'blocked option'?

Not quite sure what you are asking. If the trial version worked, you can simply backup that. If you want physical install media, contact sales.

Audio not working in Trial download of After Effects

My audio doesn't work in a trial download of After Effects.When I play the same clip outside of After Effects, I can hear the audio.

Edit --> Preferences --> Audio Hardware
Edit --> Preferences --> Audio Output Mapping
Window --> Audio
Check the settings and whether something is muted. That aside, read up on how to preview audio and video in AE in the online. I get the impression you are merely trying to play it in teh timeline, which is not the proper way.

Download link not working for trial version of AE.

I have tried multiple times to try the free trial of AE, but when I sign in and go to the 'try it' link, it does nothing - any ideas? Macbook pro lastest software etc.

If you are signed in to the Creative Cloud Apps page at https://creative.adobe.com/apps then clicking on the Try link for After Effects should trigger the download of the Adobe Application Manager (AAM) the first time. After you have AAM installed if you click on a Try link AAM should just launch and handle the install.
Which browser are you using?
You can manually install AAM from this page http://www.adobe.com/downloads/. Scroll down to the bottom and in the sidebar on the right under Other Downloads you will see Adobe Application Manager for Mac and Win.

If you will download the trial, then you will only get Captivate 6.0.1.240
Captivate 6.1.0.319 is only available for subscription (monthly and annual) users and ASA (Adobe Software Assurance) users.
Once you will purchase the subscription or Full version with ASA, then you can update Captivate 6.0.1.240 to 6.1.0.319

Projects created in trial version of captivate 8

A work colleage has a 30 trial version of Captivate 8 and has created a project in it which we are about to publish on our LMS. But as I understand if their version of Captivate it is not fully licensed after 30 days the project will not work. However I do have a fully licensed version. So if I save the project in my fully licensed version, will that be OK and the project will be still there after 30 days. Or will it go away?
I want to know this before my colleague goes any further just in case the project will not work when the trial expires.

Does that mean that if I create the source files (cptx files etc) in the trial version that I can then open and save these files in the full version and the content will not expire?
I want to make sure of this before I test out the trial version.

There is no difference in terms of usage and features between a trial version and a licensed version.
Could you tell me do you get any specific error message when it crashes, or does it crash while using a particular feature, or is it random?
Can you also try with a different user account (admin) on your MAC, check if it behaves same there?

Anyone had the trial version of Captivate 4 expire in 4 days?

I'm using the trial version of Captivate 4 which I downloaded
four days ago. It's now telling me I have to enter a serial number
with no option to continue the trial.
I've seen problems have occurred in the past but haven't
heard about this one.
Anyone direct me to a fix? I'm putting together a project to

Welcome to our community
At any point after installing did you play with your system
clock and monkey with the date? I find that trials are often super
sensitive that way. ANY change to the date can automatically
trigger a "Trial is over" response as the software is programmed
not to allow date changes. If it were to allow date changes, you
could theoretically run a trial indefinitely.
Other than that, perhaps try calling support. And good luck.

Javascript in web.show_doc not works in explorer version 6

I've requirements to open form B from form A using URL not call_form (the config parameters are not the same), but when I open form B using web.show_document I end up having the new form opened in a oversized web browser which also shows standard button and address bar.
To avoid that I tried using the examples I found on OTN, see below:
I try to run this examples found in OTN but they not work in Explorer version 6.
1) WHEN_BUTTON_PRESSED trigger contains:
begin
WEB.SHOW_DOCUMENT ('javascript:window.open("http://www.google.com","","fullscreen=no,titlebar=no,location=no,toolbar=no,menubar=no,status=no,resizable=yes");self.close()','_blank');
end;
2)POST_FORM trigger contains
web.show_document('Javascript:window.close()','_self');
Both do nothing and when I exit the form I get an empty black window, this is not acceptable in a production environment.
The POST-FORM trigger worked well with the pervious release of window explorer.

The closing_window.htm is a simple page:

Data in my form are already committed when I exit it.
How to commit is maybe an issue, in fact if I commit before calling the web.show_document the browser is not closed and a black window appears.
