Audition crashes when modify something in spectral view.
As the title says, if I change anything in the spectral view Audition crashed.
Only happens in version 3, in the old version 2 does not happen.
I Using Win 7 x64
I uninstalled the K-lite, and the problem persists.
Any idea of what happen?
Thanks!
Edit: I updated the audio driver and still the problem.
Yes, I have this version. I downloaded the patch from the site that tells me.
Or should it be 3.01.0 ?
Every time I open Audition I must modify the use of only 4 cores or can do something to be changed forever?
Thank's =D

Audition crashes when I copy paste a file in the multitrack
Audition crashes when I copy paste a file in the multitrack. it says "audition has encountered a fatal error and needs to shut down"
yeah, sorry. Mac OSX 10.8.3
2.7 ghz intel core i5
8 gb RAM
Audition cs6
All the files I'm working with are mono wav files. As I kept trying to do other things I realized the program is crashing also when I try to export the mix.
Since this started happening last week I've tried reinstalling the software twice but that hasn't worked. Any help would be great. I don't want to have to spend 200 bucks for logic right now, but I am kind of in a rush to get this project done. I can also copy the crash report over here if neccesary.
Thank you! -
App crashing when going back to previous view
I've got my app. which has several views. in my 3rd view, i have a list of questions with yes/no answers the answers to which I'm saving to a plist. it was working all good. but then i added a first view with a table which has 4 options, clicking on either of these rows go to the same view but each of them change the value of the variable in my singleton class, which then decides which questions are added to the 3rd view. so this helps me to jus have one view but the variable controls the different questions. Now my problem is that if i change something in my 3rd view, for eg, i choose yes/no , then when i am going back to the main viw , my app crashes. I am not sure why this happens. How does it work anyway-the inherent back button on the navigation bar? im guessing it calls the viewdidload function for the first/second view when going back to them from the first view, i dont undrstand why it crashes, coz the viewdidloads of these views seem okay to me.
thankswrite the piece of code causing the crash or paste the output on the console to get to know what actually cause your application to be crashed.

NMP random crashes when modifying the timeline.
FCPx is crashing/exiting when modifying the timeline. Happens randomly few times an hour - sometimes more. I updated all apps except going to YOSEMITE and it still crashes.
I`ll paste a log report below for what its worth.
Is there any apple staff that look at logs or is it just community aid?
Thanks anyone who can advise!

Why don't you convert all the old 16 bit code into 32 bit code and
create one application where the various parts all know about each
other? I don't think that there's any way to coordinate an old 16 bit
LV and a new 32 bit LV application so that they don't step on each
other driverwise like they appear to be doing. I don't think that the
two LabVIEW's even know that the other exists!
Alternatively, get a second computer to run the 16 bit code on and
make the two apps communicate with
each other using TCP/IP or serial.

Audition Crashes When Loading the Automatic Click Remover
I have just encountered an issue where Adobe Audition CC 2014 (fully updated) will crash when attempting to open up the "Automatic Click Remover" plugin. An interesting thing to note is that if I run any recorded Favorites that utilize the Automatic Click Remover, it will complete the process the plugin performs without issue. It is only when you manually try to enter the plugin to make adjustments to the settings that it will immediately crash the program before it can load. I use my Favorites quite a lot, so I don't know if this problem has come up due to a recent update, or if it has been lurking there for a long time but I never found it until now.
I'll probably try reinstalling Audition soon but figured I should post about the issue here first. Any help would be appreciated.Sometimes files in Audition's Settings folder can get corrupted. So it is worth saving a backup when Audition is working OK. Then you can try restoring the backup rather than having to completely reinstall Audition. Where the settings folder resides depends on whether you are running a Mac or a PC.

LabView starts ok but crashes when try to open "block view"
I'm running LabView 7.1. It has been operating fine. But all of a sudden it starts crashing. I can start LabView. But as soon as I have opened a module and try to run it, it crashes. Sometimes it also crashes when i try to open the "block view", and sometimes it is not even able to complete loading certain module. Is it a computer memory/resource problem? But I checked task manager and there is nothing running on the computer other than labview.
Hi,
Is it certain VIs or all VIs. If its all VIs then you might try doing a repair / re-install your labview.
If its certain VIs, its possible they have been corrupted. If this is the case, you will have to regenerate them.

Audition Crashes When I Use Time Selection Tool
If I zoom in on a piece of audio, than click, hold and drag to the left, Audition crashes. Any help would be great! thank you
Just for the record (to Adobe) I am having the same problem on a HP Laptop with their HD Graphics card 4600.
I have reset the display to what HP call 'Default' and it's fine. However, I would like to return to my customised settings. Is there any progress on updates? -
PSE 7 crash when i try to change view from thumb in organizer
hi.. im new to all this. i just installed pse7 and when i try to change view in the organizer from thumb nail to batch or any other view option it shuts down. also organizer will not generate thumb nails unless i look at them one at a time. also would like to know how to convert raw files to jpg. any help would be great. thanks.
First, try repairing the catalog:
http://www.johnrellis.com/psedbtool/photoshopelements-6-7-faq.htm#_Ref215030515
Next, recreate the thumbnail cache:
http://www.johnrellis.com/psedbtool/photoshopelements-6-7-faq.htm#_Recreate_Organizer_thum bnails
Then wait until it finishes generating thumbnails (could be hours, depending on how many photos you have). If you still have problems, post back here. -
I've been seeing strange behaviour when I modify the private data control of a class, especially if it is a parent class. It seems that those changes are not always propagated to all the VI's in the project. This sometimes causes my project to crash with an exception error, or sometimes the problem is more subtle as it will simply write data to the wrong elements in the control (when bundling/unbundling).
I solve the problem by opening the typedef or class control by itself (i.e. not as part of the project), and then saving it.
The next time I open the project all problems are solved. This is a difficult error to track down but I now know to keep a list of typedefs or class controls that I have modified (using subversion helps here), and then when this strange behaviour or crashes happen, I simply close the project and open each modified typedef or class outside of the project and save them individiually.
Anyone seen something like this too?Hmmm.... Have not seen what you are describing -- though occasionally I will see a class that appears broken until I open it by itself outside the project.
How large is your application?
How many classes do you use?
How extensively do you use classes in the application?
Could you post a screen shot of your project and how things are arranged in it?
Does the problem seem to be related to any particular class or group of classes?
Have you tried mass-compiling your code?
Are the VIs set to separate the object code from the source?

Mail crashes when trying to open Message viewer
I just migrated everything over to a brand new macbook air (13-inch) from a macbook pro (late 2010) that was running os x 10.6. Everything seems to work great except Mail will not work -- it initialized fine, retrieved messages etc but when I try to open the message viewer window, it crashes.
I've tried all the quick fixes floating around the web (removing folders from Library/Cache, Library/Containers, Library/Preferences etc), I have reinstalled the OS, and I have tried to remove Library/Mail completely and set up the accounts from scratch. None of this worked.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Crystal Reports XI R2 (11.5.8.826) crashes when modifying charts
I'm a very experienced Crystal Report designer. I'm working on a chart that is pulling in and summing a large number of records (380,000 +). As I have been working at attempting to make modifications to the chart, the program is crashing. A few examples of items that I've been working on modifying include font size for the x and y axis, scale for the axis, and other items of this type.
I've even attempted to dump the data and then make the changes in design mode. At times, it won't even display the menu I need in order to make modifications. I'll save the report often, but when I close the application altogether, it is often crashing. I've done thousands of reports of varying complexity, including many charts, but have never experienced this.
Any help?
Thanks!I agree with Debi also, likely a resource issue. Try closing all other programs to see if you get a little further along.
Only other option is to change your data source to use a Store Procedure and do all of the filtering and summing Server side and take the load off of CR to do all of this. client side... Servers are much more efficient at collecting Data than CR will ever be, that's what they do best.
Thank you

Finder crashes when loading thumnails in column view
When I am uploading a file in Safari or I am navigating through Finder in column view, and reach a pic file or mov file, the programs stall trying to find the thumbnail.
I have tested in other programs and the same things happen. It started with Finder and Safari.
I did the usual amount of troubleshooting using Onyx. Cleaned permissions, cleaned all cache, logs. Whatever else Onyx cleans. No luck.
I am on the computer all day. I work with visual images, I need to browse through through the column view.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions. As mentioned above, disabling Spotlight altogether provided the solution for the poster in the other thread. You don't mention trying that.
Also, have you checked both Console and Activity Monitor? They are in your Utilities folder. Launch both and leave them running in the background. When you have the problem look in Console to see if error messages are being reported, and check Activity Monitor to see if some process is hogging your CPU or has become unresponsive (a note in red to that effect will be displayed with the process). Be sure it is displaying ALL processes, not just your own.

Audition crashes when attempting to export.
Hello there. I'm using Adobe Audition CS6 on a Macbook Pro OSX. I'm trying to export a multitrack project out to a .wav file (or any file really at this point). Everytime that I try to export it I get an error message saying "Audition has encountered a fatal error and needs to shut down". I have also tried bouncing the project out and encountered the same problem. I went through some steps with an Adobe representative and cleaned out my cache files, renamed the libarary folder, as well as tried every single bounce and export setting in the software and yet I keep coming up with the same message. I even tried turning off and turning back on my computer just to be thorough and I have yet to find a solution.
Can anyone help please?
ConorI'm not an Adobe expert... but I play one on PC.
I have had some workaround success (not by definition a true fix as all the factors aren't documented or verified -- but hey I have a working theory and I was able to get "Adobe Audition CS6 5.0 build708" to stop crashing on the mixdown operation as is described in this thread) [Spoiler: For my PC, .NET was the issue]
Little background info:
I've been a level1 and a midrange engineer primarily in break fix, compatibility testing and a good bit of ITSEC (currently: Technical Coordinator)
OS i fixed the issue on: Windows8 (I suspect this will apply to Win7 and god forbid you are using it, but also Vista), i'm familiar and run Mountain Lion but unfortunately for the purpose of this thread; I only use Protools on that system (sorry Adobe.) -- And further this fix will definitely not apply to Mac (but that doesn't mean it wont leave clues to that issue)
Plain and SImple: I had the same panic attack experinced by others as I had a basically complete multi-track project mixed and all ready to export to lossless format -- and Adobe would crash "unexpectedly" (ironically it did it so much that I fully expected it) at the point in which I would try to execute an export. All other functions seemed fine except any form of export. I assumed because of this it was an issue with the Adobe software and I ended up here to no success.
My Issue turned out to be with "Microsoft .Net"; I examined my .NET features (control panel>> programs and features >> "turn Windows features on/off"). I had these versions tuned on:
Microsoft .NET 2.0
Microsoft .NET 3.0
Microsoft .NET 4.5
(your .NET features may not have these same builds, but it is the same idea; and sometimes you'll see .NET 3.0 maintaining earlier versions within itself -- but that's neither here nor there in respect to this issue).
I turned them all off (unchecked all three and accepted the changes "OK"). After which I went back into the "turn Windows features on/off" menu and turned on Microsoft .NET 4.5 (in the case of your PC I would have only turned on whatever the latest build was -- the higest number). I accepted those changes; rebooted my machine... opened Audition, and boom, bang like magic my exports worked perfectly in every format I attempted.
It should be noted that I was comfortable turning off previous versions of .NET because I know I don't run any sotwares that require an older version, there for I choose to isolate my .NET issues to a single version to deal with. You may be running softwares that require these earlier versions to be active in which case I would still have turned them all off originally, but I would have turned them all back on and tested for success (more realistically I would have ran with only the latest version turned on and exported my mixdown -- then proceeded with any other troubleshooting).
Stickier .NET scenarios:
-You determine that all installed versions of .NET are damaged, corrupted, or not present (i've seen all of the above)... Damaged or Corrupted (any scenario where it's all present but not functioning even after the above attempts), you would be attempting a .NET repair... if there is simply no versions as late as 3.0 present; you would go to Microsoft.com and download an .NET exe file to install from.
-If repair doesn't work on your damaged or corrupted files; you would then probably find yourself performing a manual uninstall, followed by a fresh installation.
In the case of have to perform a repair or manual uninstall/install Microsoft has some pretty intuitive walkthroughs @ Microsoft.com here is a kb from them that gets into the basics of both operations: https://support.microsoft.com/kb/908077
I hope this helps at least a single person get their project exported, and away from that panic attack. -
