Authorization for Measuring document creation

Hi,
i have one issue. I want to provide authorization for measuring documents creation. That has been done by providing the different authorization groups in roles for T codes IK11, Ik12 etc to the users. Now users with a authorized authorization group for perticular measuring point can create a measuring document fo that. But the problem is that despite the authorization group, if user goes to t code iw41 for order confirmation , there he can create measuring documents of any authoprization group. How to control that thing. I also give authorization group authorization for t code IW41 but still it is allowing for the creation of documents. any help on this thing.
Regards,
Aman Sharma

Hi
there are two ways you can control the measurement reading entry
1. Block the authorisation of IK11.When you go to confirmation screen through IW41 , there a button for measurement document update. Even the user will press it system will not allowed to enter in it as he is no authorisation
2.You can configure the screen template for overall confirmation  and use this profile while doing overall confirmation using iw42. There you can hide the measurment detail screen.
customising node " Set Screen Templates for Completion Confirmation "

    Hi,
No there is no standard report available for this requirement.  You may need to develop a Z report.
J1ARE_AGE gives u the status after creation of ARE1.

  • What happends when you give 2 groups with some of the same members different authorizations for a document

    Hello,
I'm doing my internship at a litte Telekom company. I'm investigating how they can use MS SharePoint as their central place to put projectinformation. Now i've been thinking what happends when i do the following:
    Make one document library
Add 2 groups to the Active Directory, group "A" with all the employees and group "B" with only four people working on a project. When i add a document to the document library and set the authorizations for the document as
    follows:
    Group B: Read/Write
    Group A: Read
Does the people from group B still be able to edit the document, because they are also in group A?
I don't have a test environment to test this myself.
Why i want to know this? The company want's one place to place all their documents with projectinformation. This information is about different projects. You only wan't that people can change the specific document when they are working on the specific project
    where the document belongs to.

You get the union of permissions, so if one group allows access and the other not, you will get the union of both and therefore access. Of course, you can break security settings per library/folder or document, and specify new settings,
    if you need too.

    Hi,
Please <b>read rules of engagement</b> before posting.
    Step 1: Finding An Answer
Rule number one: Try to find the answer first. There are tons of resources out there, show that you have tried to find the answer. A question that shows that the person is willing to try and help themselves is more likely to be answered than one which simply demands information. Tell us what you have done to try and solve the problem yourself - often we can learn from that too!
Search the forums, the articles, the blog posts and the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) in the Wiki for your topic.
    Step 2: Asking Your Question
Once you have verified that no resources are available for solving your problem, ask your question. Do the following:
    - Use a Good Subject Line
The subject header is your golden opportunity to attract qualified experts' attention in around 50 characters or less. Don't waste it on babble like "Workflow question". We all have busy jobs, often we just skim through the list headings and read those that interest us. Also, DO NOT reply to an unrelated post to ask a different question. This confuses those reading the thread and may lose people that would be interested in your question. Always start a new topic with a new mail.
<i>Bad subject: Urgent problem with workflow</i>
Good subject: Error after transport: "Inconsistent workflow definition"
Do not use words in capital letters and any of the words: urgent, quickly, burning, etc in your message. Especially not in the title! This just irritates and does not help you get to your goal. From our side, we definitely do not answer faster when we see these words.
<i>The same goes for such things as ??? or !!! in appends. In the English language one ? or ! is sufficient to terminate a sentence.</i>

Currently any one can attach documents as GOS and delete even the claim is completed and status is closed.

    HI,

  • Authorization for UB document type in PO create

    Hi All,
We wanted to restirct some user from creating PO other than UB. We want them to give authorization only for UB document type in ME21N. What is teh best way to make it work?
    Thanks for your support.
    KHAN

    Hi Khan,
If you want to restrict the User for creating PO other than UB document type. You need to discuss with Basis consultant.
For that particular user you need to restrict the activites like Create, Change , display for  the authorization object "M_BEST_BSA" which is assigned for Document type for Purchase order.
Based on your requirement inform the basis consultant to remove the  all other document type or * symbol  and assign only UB document type to that user. So he/she will be restricted to that document type only when ever he creates any PO.

  • Authorization for vendor's creation

    Hi there,
    I have a problem with vendor’s creation authorization (SAP R/3 4.6B)
For a matter of security, we need to separate the task of creating a vendor in two parts. The  user who can create the vendor’ general datas is not authorized to create the bank details. And vice versa of course.
So I created two “Group Fields for Vendor Master Records”.
    10      non banking datas
    20     banking datas
In group 10 I have put the data LFBK-BANKL Banking key (not sure of the English term) and in group 20 I have put LFA1-NAME2 Name 2.
I gave authorization to non banking datas to user 1 (F_LFA1_AEN / VGRUP = 10) and authorization to banking datas to user 2 (F_LFA1_AEN / VGRUP = 20).
    And it does nothing special…
Both users can create banking and non banking datas and save the vendor.
Did I do wrong somewhere or is there a problem with vendor’s creation authorization ?
    Thank you for your help.

Thank you for your answer, you gave me another idea.
The solution I wanted to implement doesn’t work for vendor’s creation but only for vendor’s modification.
So I used “Preparations for Creating Vendor Master Records” > “Define Screen Layout per Activity (Vendors)”. I suppress payment transaction data for Vendor creation (XK01 and FK01). So people who creates vendors cannot create payment transactions data. In fact, nobody can…
To create payment transaction data you must modify the vendor (XK02 and FK02) and be authorized. To do so, I can use the solution explained in my first post : “Preparations for Changing Vendor Master Records” > “Define Field Groups for Vendor Master Records” and “Group Fields for Vendor Master Records”.

  • Material Groupwise authorization for purchase requisation creation

    Gurus
My client want to give authorization for creating purchase requisation - material groupwise. i.es for material group 1,2,3,4,5,purchase group 100 has the authority to create the PRs and for material group 6,7 & 9 it should be with purchase group 101
    How to fix this problem.
    Atul kulkarni

    Here comes the standard solution
1- In transaction OMSF, you will have to create an Authorization Group for each Material Group.
2- Assign this Authorization Group to User roles. To include the Authorization group in user role, add t-code MM03 - material display.
3- Using Standrad Business Addin "BAdI: Define Follow-On Processing for Purchase Requisitions" you can ask your ABAPer to make a simple logic to validate the material group assigned to PR creater's profile.
    It should solve the problem.
    Hope it helps,

  • Bapi for miro  document creation

    Hi,
can any one help me on how to use bapi " BAPI_INCOMINGINVOICE_CREATE" FOR UPLOADING TRANSACTION OF MIRO . IF POSSIBLE SAMPLE CODE
    THANKS

    Hi,
You can see the documentation, See below
Please give me point if you find it is useful
    Thanks
    Ramesh
    FU BAPI_INCOMINGINVOICE_CREATE
    Short text
    Invoice Verification: Post Invoice
    Functionality
You can use this method to create and post invoices.
When passing on the header data, you use the field INVOIC_IND to determine whether the system posts a credit memo or an invoice. If the field is blank, the system posts a credit memo. If you enter an X, the system posts an invoice.
If you want to enter an incoming invoice for a returns order, you should leave the INVOICE_IND field blank.
As in the online transaction, the system updates the purchase order history and stock valuation data in Materials Management. The system creates accounting documents in Accounting.
    Using this method, you can:
Enter and post invoices with multiple account assignment
Change the account assignment of invoices, add account assignments, and post the invoices
Enter invoices for blanket purchase orders
Enter and post invoices for purchase orders containing planned delivery costs
Enter and post invoices containing unplanned delivery costs
    Enter and post subsequent debits/credits
Use document types with external number assignment
Enter and post invoices with withholding tax
Enter and post invoice with more than one vendor line and different payment methods and terms of payment
Enter and post invoices for returns orders
Enter and post invoices for transportation service providers
Enter and post invoices for external service purchase orders
    Post to G/L accounts
    Post to material accounts
Enter and post invoices for a one-time vendor
Enter and post invoices with a different payee
    Restrictions
The following fields in Financial Accounting are not passed on:
    POR subscriber number
    Bank details
    Payment reference
    House bank ID
    Nota Fiscal
    Notes
The following authorization object is checked using activity 01:
M_RECH_WRK Authorization to create invoices in certain plants
    Transfer
You use the structure HeaderData to transfer the invoice header data.
You use the structure AddressData to transfer the address data of a one-time vendor or a different payee of the incoming invoice.
Tables ItemData and AccountingData contain the invoice item data. The table TaxData contains the tax information for theinvoice.
Tables ItemData and AccountingData contain the item data and the incoming invoice.
The table TaxData contains the tax information on the incoming invoice.
The table GlAccountData contains data on posting to a G/L account and the table MaterialData contains data on posting to a materialaccount.
Using table WithTaxData you can transfer withholding tax information.
Using table VendorItemSplitData you can distribute the gross amount to several vendor line items with different methods of payment and terms of payment.
    Return
The invoice document number and the fiscal year are returned as key fields for the invoice.
    Return messages
Messages are returned in the parameter return. The parameter documentation shows the return codes and their meanings.
    Further Information
The method can only carry out your function if no error messages were generated in the "Return" table. This is the case if the header data and all the items were processed successfully.
Transaction control is not implemented. The calling program therefore has to execute the 'Commit Work' itself after this method has been successfully invoked (i.e. if no errors were reported in the Return parameter).

Example: Incoming invoice for a one-time vendor
This example demonstrates the procedure for entering and posting an incoming invoice for a one-time vendor.
You do not need to provide table AddressData with data to do this. If you do not enter any data in the table AddressData, the address data for the one-time vendor is transfered exactly from the purchase order to the invoice.
If you use table AddressData to transfer the data, the system copies the address data for the one-time vendor from the purchase order to the invoice and then overwrites or adds to the data with the fields from table AddressData.
The name 'SAP AG', postal code '60000', and street and house number 'Neurottstraße 16' are stored in the purchase order for the one-time vendor. You receive an invoice with the one-time vendor address 'SAP AG', postal code '69190' and city 'Wallorf'.
    You enter the following data:
    Table AddressData
    ACC_1_TIME (Indicator: One-time vendor): X
    NAME (Name): SAP AG
    POSTL_CODE (Postal code): 69190
    CITY (city): Walldorf
The invoice is posted with the following one-time vendor address data: Name 'SAP AG', street and house number 'Neurottstraße 16', postal code '69190', city 'Walldorf'.
For more information, see the parameter documentation for table AddressData
Example: Incoming invoice for a different payee
This example demonstrates which data you must enter in table AddressData in order to enter and post an invoice for a different payee.
You receive an invoice for a different payee with name 'SAP AG', postal code '69190', city 'Walldorf', bank number '38070724' and account number '4711'.
    Enter the following data:
    Table AddressData
    ACC_1_TIME (Indicator: One-time vendor): ' '
    NAME (Name): SAP AG
    POSTL_CODE (Postal code): 69190
    CITY (City): Walldorf
    BANK_NO (Bank number): 38070724
