Authorization Object For Order Type in Tcode KO88

Dear Sir,
In Tcode KO88 , we want that an users must be able to use only a specific type "Order Type" . But we do not know which is the authorization object for this .
I look forward for the kind help from SAP Expert as how can we put restriction based on "Order Type" in Tcode KO88 .

check your authorisation objects here:
Go to PFCG --> Environment (at menu bar) --> authorization objects --> Display...
Here see for MRP and MM for material managament in the tree structure...

Authorization Object for Material Type

Is it possible to restrict the user from creating the material master based on Material Type. If yes then what is the authorization object for the same.

Dear Mahendra,
You can definitely restrict a end-user to only particular Material Type thru Authorizations.
Authorization Object: M_MATE_MAR
This can be done thru authorization management. Consult your Basis person or follow this:
SU01 - Enter the user Id & select display button. Now click on the Roles Tab & note down the role assigned to this user Id.
Go to T-Code - PFCG - enter the Role name & select the change icon.
Click on the Authorizations tab page. & then Click on Change Authorization Data.
Now expand the menu tree of Materials Management: Master Data & further expand the menu tree of Material Master: Material Types. Now click on the change icon next to Authorization Group & select the required Material Type that you want to authorize the end-user.
This is how you can give authorizations only for a particular Material Type.

Authorization Object for Storage Type

Hi,
At PFCG, go to authorization profile you want to restrict, look for M_MSEG_LGO Authorization Object, at the storage location field assign it. If you only want to restrict it for few user use, remove those from unauthorized user profile.

Authorization object for manual condition type in sale order

Hi experts
I want ask them, If exist an authorization object for manual Condition type (KOMV-KSCHL) in the sales order (VA01/VA02), that the user don' t can create neither modify the sale orden with a specific manual condition type (payment term) by stardard way.

I would be surprised to know that someone uses the Payment terms as a condition in the Pricing procedure for sales orders. The payment terms define when the customer agrees to pay, (15, 20, 45 ,....days or 5 years or 10 years....whatever it be)
this detail for what i know is in the sales order header,and ideally has nothing to do with the Item level material price conditions.
its ok, If you mean something else by payment terms.....in principle you can have a conditon type restrcited such that manual entries on the condition are not possible. this cane be done in SPRO customizing, i am sure your functional consultants would know what to do (SPRO->Sales and Distribution->Basic Function->Condition Types), in the tab "Changes that can be made" have a value that says manual Processing is not allwowed
The ABAP route mentioned above is for a different scenarion and i dont think it is necessary for your requirement

Authorization Object for Z Tcodes

how to find authorization object for Z tcodes
e.g. in our orgnisation we have created report ZSR( Sales Register) and we want to restrict user for Plant & sales office
so where i can get authorization object.

Hi,
Goto T.Code "SUIM".
Click on "Roles".
Click on "By Transaction Assignment".
Enter your T.Code here i.e. "ZSR".
Click on Execute or Press F8.
You will identify the role assigned to it.
Copy that role.
Goto T.Code "PFCG".
Paste that role here.
Click on Display.
Goto "Authorisations" tab.
click on "Display Authorization data".
Goto Utilities-->Technical names on in menu bar.
Here you can see the authorization object assigned for this T.Code.
But in general all the Z transactions will be in S_TCODE authorization object.
Also,goto that T.Code.
Immediately after this enter,"/nSU53" T.Code.

Authorization object for Internal order

My requirement is while creating the PO using the internal order as reference i need to check the internal order is valid for that user or not.
Is there is any standard authorization object for internal order is available using which i can validate the internal order by assigning this authorization object in the user role.

When you try to create internal order and once you get the error.
Open another session with /OSU53
This gives you the details of authorization objects or transaction codes you are lacking.
Provide this to security administrator of your team.

Add new authorization object for production order creation/change/display

As mentioned. I definded new authorization object using "Production scheduler" (Field Name : FEVOR) by SU20. then use SU21/SU24 to add authorization object for some transaction code such as COOIS. use PFCG maintain new role and assign a fixed production scheduler value and assgin transaction code COOIS to this role. create new user ID and assign to that role.
logon system with new ID, run COOIS. but system don't check new authorization object(production scheduler). who can tell me why it is and how i can add new new authorization object for standard transaction code?

there is an icon of generation. just click there in PFCG and also in su21.
then add this object in new role.
Assign this role to user id
while assigning the role also there is a generation.
Please take a help of BASIS consultant also as this is entire a BASIS process.

Hi,
Are you telling me that you have a z auth, object built with SU21? If it's true, you can insert in SE38 with the push 'Pattern' and option AUTHORITY CHECK. The system insert it. After, set the parameters as variables and if the return code isn't zero (you don't have auth) you must set an error message, for instance in LIPW4F58:
*... Auth check movemnt. plant
authority-check object 'M_MSEG_WWA'
           id 'ACTVT' field '01'
           id 'WERKS' field mseg-werks.
if sy-subrc eq 4.
    message e199 with mseg-werks.
endif.
Remember set the object in PFCG, and check that in case of rejection of auth. the tcode SU53 works right.

Authorization object for PLANNING PLANT

Hi all,
My client has different Planning plant & Production plant.
If I need to give access to GR for order (MB31), how do I know the authorization object for the Planning plant.
User should be given access to MB31 to the Planning plant & NOT to the Production plannt.
Any idea where we could find the authoriz. objects for a particular field?

these are the authorisation objects with activities as ACTVT and WERKS
Maintaine the values for ACTVT as
01 Create or generate,
02 Change
03 Display
04 Print, edit messages
and maintaine the values WERKS   (ur plants 4 which u want to give authorisations)
and BWAR ( movement types 4 which u want to give authorisations)

Authorization Object for Cost center

Hi Experts;
We are using SRM 7, classic scenario.
We are copying SRM tcode: BBP_BW_SC4 to a Z report and modify it. The users will be given the access to display the status of thier SC.
How can I restrict the user from displaying the SC of other department's? Is there an authorization object for cost center in SRM? is there any other away to restrict the users from displaying SC related to other depts.

My doubt is will the authorization will check the plants in between 1001 and 2001..suppose i have pplants 1001,1002,1003,1004,2001..Now will the above code will check for all the plants or only 1001 and 2001 if i specify in the select-options.

First no need to LOOP AT s_werks and check s_werks-high as it will always be present only once in the table s_werks.
Do this
SELECT werks FROM t001w INTO li_werks
WHERE werks IN s_werks.
LOOP AT li_werks.
*check your authority thing here and fill the range
ENDLOOP.

Restricting Authorization of Purchase Order Types

Hi All,
I want to work on authorisations of purchase orders. There are 2 different purchase order types.
I want to give authorisation for creation purchase order for order type-1 to a user.
and I want to give ONLY DISPLAY authorisation for order type-2 to the same user.
SInce the same object is being used, even if I make two different roles and attach to the same user, system sees that the user have CREATE authorisation for order type-2 also.
Please suggest.

Hi Sagar,
As per your query you have to assign order type 1 in purchase creation profile and display profile can assign to all the type of purchase order.

Hi,
I have created one new order type-zpos. For this users have asked the authorization for the below activities for the user id's.
zpos order creation : users x,y,z
zpos order release : user A.
ZPOS order release (user status).
Please guide me what information i need to provide to the Basis person to provide the authorization on these activities.

Hi Mastan,
C_AFKO_AWK - Plant for order type of order - For the user give the details of which plant and order type he is authorized to Basis.
C_AFKO_AWA - Authorization for Production order type/activity
01 - Indicates create order
02 - change order
03 - display order
For users x,y,z give 01 create authorization and for user A give change authorization 02 if on creation order is not released.
