Authorization restriction by personal sub area wise

Dear Friends,
Can i restrict HR user by personal sub area. Currently i was restricted by personal area wise. But current requirement is personal sub area wise.
Which object is to be created .
Please reply urgently.
Thanks,
Regards,
Sachin

HI Alex,
The standard PA authorisations P_ORGIN and P_ORGINCON do not have Personnel Subarea restrictions available unfortunately. Your only standard options are Personnel Area, Employee Group and Employee Subgroup.
You could possibly do something using the Organisational Key field with allows you to essentially define a customised field restriction within the P_ORGIN  or P_ORGINCON object. My advice would be to try and work around this though as Org Key restrictions can get very complex if you are not careful and can be difficult to maintain as a result.
Hope this helps.
Best Regards,
Richard

    Hi,
I want to add a personal sub area to the existing list in SAP R/3. What transaction(s) are involved?

    Hi,

IMG -> Enterprise Structure -> Definition -> HRM -> Personal Subarea.

  • Config change-certain plans for specific personal sub-area

    Hi,
I have a requirement like, currently there are 3 health plans configured in the system for the employees of the company. It is open for all the personal areas and sub-areas.
Now there is a requirement to change the config as follows:-
The plans (2 health plans and 1 dental plan) should be available only for sunnyvale employees. How do I make these changes so that the plans are available only for employees of sunnyvale personal sub-area. (Personal area=California and personal sub-area= sunnyvale)

    Thanks

    Thank you for your reply.
    Let me explain again
Currently, there are 3 health plans configured in the system as follows
    Plan Type: Medical & Dental
They are a total of 3 plans which are right now available to all the employees of California.
I need to make the following changes w.r.t to the following details
    Personal area = California
    Personal subarea=Sunnyvale
    Emp group=full, temp, intern, retired
    Emp subgroup=full, part
I need the above mentioned 3 plans to be available to only the employees of sunnyvale and not the entire california.
I don't know where to go and make the changes so that the plans are available only for the employees of sunnyvale (And not for all the employees of California)
    Hope this explains the scenario.

  • Wage type permissiblity per personal sub area

    hi gurus
can anybody tell me what is meaning of 0 to 9 numbers in define wage type permissiblity for each PS  and ESG

Your other thread PERSONAL SUBAREA GROUPING FOR PRIMARY WAGE TYPE and this one are related...
Basically you handle a grouping of PA/PSA or EG/ESG and give it a value of 0 - 9. Using that grouping value, you determine permissibility for it.
For example you personnel area is 111 and personnel sub area is FNC and you give it a value of PS grouping 1...
You then do the same grouping to the EG and ESG and give it a grouping of 1...
When you go to Permissibility of Wage Types
SPRO -> PM -> PA -> Payroll Data -> Basic Pay -> Wage Types -> Check Wage Type Catalog -> Define Wage Type Permissibility for each PS and ESG
    or known as table V_511_B
You then set this to the wage type...
The person has to belong to PS grouping (111 and FNC) and ES Grouping (whever you set as a combo) to be eligible to use that wage type

  • HR master data authorizations Personnel Sub Area (PSA) wise

    Hi Experts,
The requirement is to restrict HR masterdata access PSA wise.
    Example:-
There are 2 PSAs i.e. 1000 & 2000 for which, there are two different HR admin who are responsible for the maintenance of the HR masterdata for their respective PSAs.
The requirement is, the HR admin of 1000 PSA should have the authorization of create/change/display of 1000 PSA & should have only the display authorization for 2000 PSA. HR admin of 1000 PSA can not modify the details of other PSAs.
Like the same way, HR admin of 2000 PSA should have the authorization of create/change/display of 2000 PSA & should have only the display authorization for 1000 PSA.
I have managed to handle the same through org key (VDSK1). But the issue is, the HR admin of 1000 is only able see the data upto the period when the employee was in 1000 PSA. For e.g. if employee no. 789654  was in 1000 PSA from 1.1.2014 to 31.03.2014 & he was transferred to 2000 PSA on 1.4.2014, then the HR admin of 1000 is able to see the data upto 31.03.2014 only. And HR admin of 2000 PSA is able to see the data from 1.4.2014 onwards & not the past data.
During a transfer action, I am manually changing the org key when I am transferring the employee from one PSA to other PSA.
    Requirement
My requirement is that, after the transfer also, the HR admin of the 1st PSA (1000) should be able to only view the current employee data & but he can not change anything and the same way HR admin of 2000 PSA should be able to view the past data but should not able to change the past data.
How it will work in Training & Event Mgt? Will the system restricts the HR admin from booking an employee of other PSA also?
    Please help..
    Regards,
    Daniel

    Hi Omid,
Thanks for your reply. I saw your link where you have suggested for custom authorization object. Does it require any other development other than creating the custom object?
I have managed to achieve the PSA wise authorization by using org key. But the problem is, the current HR administrator is not able to see the past data. For e.g. if employee no.
My requirement is; the current HR admin can view all the past and current data but not authorized to create/change or delete anything once the employee is transferred from his PSA.

  • SAP T-Codes with Functiona Area, Business Process, Sub-Process wise details

    Hi Experts,
I am Involved in GRC AC5.3 implementation Project. In this we need to work on complete Role-Redesign Process, which involves building of New Roles as per their requirement (Transaction used in past one Year). We find 3500 T-Codes, which are used by the client from past one year. We need to segregate the All the T-Codes into Functiona Area, Business Process, Sub-Process wise.
*Is there any data source available on Complete information on SAP T-Codes with Functiona Area, Business Process, and Sub-Process wise details.
    Thank and Regards,
    Sathish...

    Hi Satish,
As per my knowledge, Since the role design is more specific to any client there is no standard classification.
However you can classify them taking leverage of sap provided rule set for RAR or Existing customized ruleset in your landscape, based on that you can start grouping the Tcodes  and start framing the roles.

  • Authorization check based on personnel sub area

    Dear experts,
I would like to know if there's a way to do the authorization checking based on personnel subarea? Currently we can perform the authorization check up to Personnel Area only in P_ORGIN.
              Please advice.
              Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Yen

The feature Administrator groups (PINCH) is designed to deal with such a situation.
    Example
Administrator A is responsible for personnel areas 1 and 2, Administrator B is responsible for the employee subgroups X and Y within personnel area 3, Administrator C is responsible for all other employee subgroups within personnel area 3.

  • Personnel Sub areas as per the departments...

    Hi
is it correct to have personnel subareas acoording to department wise. ex :- Can hr, finance, sales departments be made as personnel subareas in enterprise structure. ???
    Regards
    Mohammed

    Hi,
Personnel Subareas are the subdivision of Personnel Area and it is a must to define a pay scale  area, pay scale type and one holiday calendar for each personnel subarea.
It is also important to keep the control features in mind while defining the personnel sub area:
    1. Specifying the country grouping; this controls the dialog for entering country-specific personnel data and the setting up and processing of wage types and pay scale groups in Payroll; within a company code, the country grouping must be unambiguous
    2. Assigning a legal entity to differentiate between the individual companies from a legal point of view
    3. It specifies groupings for Time Management. This enables you, for example, to set up work schedules, substitution types, absence types, and leave types on the basis of a specific personnel subarea.
    4. The personnel subarea is a selection criterion for evaluations.
    5. The personnel subarea is used to generate default values for pay scale area and pay scale type for an employeeu2019s basic pay.
    6. It specifies the public holiday calendar.
    7. Defining personnel subarea-specific wage types per personnel area
    8. It assigns a legal person for payroll.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks

  • Restrict Contact Person replication from CRM to ECC based on Partner Funct

    Hi Experts
We are replicating Contacts from CRM to ECC, by assigning them to Accounts. We have a scenario to restrict Contact Person replication to ECC only for specific Partner functions (we have 5 such partner functions), for remaining partner functions the contact Persons should not be replicated to ECC.
By Partner function I mean, while making this assignment of Contact to an Account in u201Ccontact Person Relationships datau201D under u201CPartner Function Assignment blocku201D (in web UI) we are adding a Partner function E.g. Author, (same can be seen in GUI, under Usage tab of CP Relationship data).
However we were able to replicate contacts assigned to accounts to ECC in our 5 partner functions, but even the unwanted contacts assigned to other partner functions in CRM are also getting replicated
How can I restrict CP replication from CRM to ECC based on Partner Functions assigned to the Contact Person
    Your help is highly appriciated.

    Hi sonali,
         For that,
Drilldown report on Venodr, so put characteristic in Row.
In colum for opening balance, create a calculated keyfigure where fiscal year period LT 'Selected period'. which is balance.
For Closing balance, create a calculated keyfigure where fiscal year period LE 'Selected period'. which is balance.
For Debit and credit colum. create calculated key figure and restrict fiscalyear period = "selected period", with debit credit indicator = 'H' and 'S'. respectively.

  • Authorization restriction for Transaction PK13N

    Hi @ all
My colleagues and I are responsible for the authorizations in our system.
Since few days we test the Kanban functions in SAP.
In abovementioned transaction are two buttons "To Empty" and "To Full".
Does anybody know if there is a possibility to restrict some users for these buttons?
    Thanks @ all!!
    Greets Kristin

    Hi Kristin,
The "Save to Empty" and "Save to Full" buttons are screen elements and can't be restricted with the authorization objects.
Further, below are the authorization object that are checked with PK13N transaction code:
    C_KANBAN     PP KANBAN Processing
    C_TCLA_BKA     Authorization for Class Types
CPE_SETTIN     Commodity Pricing Engine: General Settings
You can imply restriction on any of these.
If you with to show/remove one of these buttons, you can achieve this with screen variants using SHD0 transaction code.
    Hope this helps.

    Raghu
