Auto-Cad SAP integration interface development regard problem

I have just started working on development of Autocad SAP integration interface using VC++
I want to login into SAP environment by clicking on a logon Menu on a menu bar
I want to get some idea as to how to start with this requirement.
Can somebody on the forum guide me through this.
If anybody has any idea or solution pleasssssssssss do let me know

Cad View is working fine, but SAP - view is not working, while we select sap view, by default it is asking saving of drawing1, on cancelling this it simply comes out ,

Hi i need help with requirement below with developing interface between or online order system and sap plz lemme know what is bapi i use for creating customer, update and assigining partner id to costumer.
SAP Development
1.     Using standards SAP functional module (with BAPI), create interface that will create/change Ordering party customer in SAP. Following fields are mandatory for customer creation:

2.     Upon successful customer creation system will issues S (success) message that customer has been created.
3.     New ordering party customer created in step ½, will have to be assigned as new partner to its belonging Sold-to/Ship-to customer. Use standard SAP customer functional module in order to perform this partner ID assignment. Partner ID for ordering party should be ZO.
1.7     Enhancement Functionality
Apart from creating a new interface to do the required functionality, the Order Create Interface also has to be changed to accommodate a field to pass the Ordering Party Number on the Order. The technicalities of how we are going to implement the interface will be laid out in the Tech Specs.

What would you like to do exactly, Create a Drawing and Save it SAP?
If you can do it in OLE then goto Transaction DWDM. There click on Demo for OLE container under Office Integration tree.
This shows how to interact with Paint, Video clip PPT's and so on.
This might be useful for your exploration getting new ideas. All the best.

Crystal Developer XI without Sap integration kits cant see released Queries

Hi All!
When I'm used MS Excel, I can see released SAP BW Queries via SAP OLE DB access. But when I'm used Crystal Developer XI (without Sap integration kits), I cant see released SAP BW Queries via SAP OLE DB access.
What's a problem here?

you missing the SAP integration Kit. To conenct to SAP BW you need the SAP Integration Kit installed.

Integrated Configurations com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception

Hi guys,
we are using PI 7.11.
With this release local processing on the advanced adapter engine is possible, when using integrated configurations.
This works fine.
Lately I faced an error situation in an RFC to JDBC scenario, when one field doesn´t meet the conditions of the database.
I tried to dig deeper to identify the incorrect value by switch on the trace in the receiver JDBC channel, as I did several times before.
Afterwards I treied to restart the message.
Following error occurs.
com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.ConfigException: Unable to retrieve interface determination with object ID ab1bf720bf2711dea7d2020000000030 from CPA cache.
I made some test with integrated configurations (FTP to FTP) and come to the result that errors, which require changes on the communication channel e.g. wrong password etc. result in an new object in the CPA cache
trying restart the failed message ends up in the error specified aboce.
Anyone faced the same issue already?

I feel that you should once go for a CPA Cache refresh from Adapter Engine and try executing your failed messages once again in the adapter engine.
To do a CPA Cache Refresh from the Adapter Engine:
To trigger a cache refresh from the individual Adapter Framework, open a browser window and enter the following URL:

I did install it in the admin account. Actually the computer has four accounts, one for my husband, where I installed it. One for me which also is set to admin, one is called TEST and has nothing in it and one is guest user.
I don't know how AutoCad is interfacing with the account. That is why I am not sure what to do about it. I read other threads in various places and some seemed to point to something having to do with having multiple users. The solutions were not clear. I was hoping someone else had this problem and could tell me what to do. I tried apple support but no help. I have not tried AutoCad yet as I assumed they wont help since this is a free educational version of their product.

Note If there are problems converting the auto-cad file, an error message is displayed. NCS uses a native image conversion library to convert auto-cad files into raster formats like PNG. If the native library cannot be loaded, NCS returns the "unable to convert the auto-cad file" message. If you receive this error, make sure all the required dependencies are met for the native library. To find any dependency problems, use ldd on Linux platforms. The following dlls must be present under the /webnms/rfdlls NCS installation directory: LIBGFL254.DLL, MFC71.DLL, MSVCR71.DLL, and MSVCP71.DLL. If dependency problems occurred, you may need to install the required libraries and restart NCS.

Com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: java.lang.NullPointerException in sap pi

I am working on SAP PI 7.3.1 SP09. Currently we have interfaces which uses 50200 port. I have created a http destination from nwa pointing to https://....url. So all of a sudden all the interfaces went to error state. After debugging i found that the port 50200 is replaced with 50201which is https port. After changing the port to initial value ie., 50200 all interfaces are working fine except the one which were pointing to https url and they are showing the following error description.

Thank you for your hint. Maybe I just forgot to mention one important fact. We have second SAP Netweaver PI 7.1 which is completely our system. The first one I mentioned in first message is the customer's one. The one we have extra is also connected to MAXIMO and GIS. Settings of this interface is completely same among one thing:
Patch level of XIAF:

I have suspicion it is somehow connected to this patch. Btw. this patch contains a lot of notes regarding AXIS framework (i.e. 1435998, 1150375, 1048268), so obviously some bugs of the AXIS adapter has been resolved by this patch.

EXCEL - SAP integration ... which way forward?

Hi folks,
A customer (having a SAP 4.6D system) would like to have an EXCEL sheet being populated with SAP data with some additional formatting (headers, subheading, totals, colouring cells based on certain values; etc ...) within the EXCEL sheet ...
Out of my head I could think of some possibities here:
- ALV view of table with download (but no extra formatting options here ... )
- ABAP OLE commands (not sure this is still being used)
- EXCEL integration via BDS ( I remember that you can have a both way integration here but how far does it go?)
- RFC communication to for example .NET RFC server via .NET connector ..
Anyone having any experience in this? What are the pro's and cons of any of the possibilies? Anyone any suggestion on what is the best way forward?
My customer is looking for a 'cheap' fast solution and is not willing to spend more then 2-3 days on it ...

I prefere ALV Grid in combination with ALV templates stored in SAP (avaliable from 46c).
I don't know all the methods from the other replys, but my experience is that OLE and use of excel macros with VBA script is a bad idea. Some years ago i made an interface like that based on (as far as i remember) excel 95 and R/3 31i. After upgrade to R/3 46c I had to change the ABAP program to make it work again. Two month later we changed to office 2000 and after that the macros didn't work anymore - I never fixed it - I changed to ALV grid.
With the combination of ALV grid and excel templates you solve the problems with the tools that is best. You use ABAP to extract the data and you use excel for the formatting.
I a privieus posting I listede som hints about this technique. I don't know how to link to an other posting, so I just cut/paste:
1) An ABAP program extracts data from the database and presents the data with Excel Inplace.
2) Instead of the SAP standard templates SAP_OM.XLS and SAP_MM.XLS the program uses a customised excel template created by the "business people" themselves. (Now they can't blame you for the layout).

You will have to build your own templates by creating modified copies of the SAP standard templates SAP_OM.XLS and SAP_MM.XLS. If you can find these see note 316728 to copy them from client 000.
You will have to work with transaction OAOR to administrate the templates and program BC_BDS_UPLOAD to upload new templates.

MES Interface Development (Standard IDOC-MATMAS enriched with Z-Fields)

Hello Everyone,
We have an issue that we want to sent IDOC data to our local MES System. The XML Target Structure of the MES System is given and cannot be changed.
Most of the fields to be sent are in the MATMAS IDOC but some fields need to be enriched with material classification data which are maintained for each material individually in the ERP. To retrieve the data out of ERP we using the u201CBAPI_OBJCL_GETDETAILu201D. Here we perform an iteration about all these fields to read the classification description and the associated characteristic value. Sometimes it can happen that not for each material the value are maintained and then we are getting blank values
Now I coming back to my main questions.
The target structure of the MES XML File is given and need basically just two core segments from MATMAS IDOC.
E1MARAM SEGMENT="1"     -> Key fields needed: Material Number, MEINH, EAN Number etc.
E1MAKTM SEGMENT="1"     -> Key fields needed:: Material Description
The n- Classifcation field need to be listed directly under the segment E1MARM Segment. So the target structure need to be dynamically built with these n Z Field under den Segment with the following structure.

E1MAKTM SEGMENT="1"      Material Description
As stated out above the information from the classification data are filled in an internal table (XML document with several Row)
Questions:
How do I get the information from the internal XML Document into such ZL161AUSPM structure. Shall I rename the rows in the XML Document from Row to <ATMAN>? And how is this possible? I assume that I cannot change the row name in an "MII XML Document"

How do I get the dynamically the structure under the E1MARAM SEGMENT="1"? with n u2013 integration? This mean if the material has been assigned three characteristic then I need three time the structure under the segment u201CE1MARAMu201D
Is someone experienced with interface development of such Z-Message respectively has someone an idea or guideline to dealt with such issues?

it is a bit difficult to get the structure from your post, but when I get it right you need to add new nodes in a predefined xml structure.
Did you have a look at the Link editor action "Data Item" from the SAP xMII XML Output? You can define a name and value and add it to a given xml structure. A problem might be the target xml if it is not an IlluminatorDocument (which is of kind /Rowsets / Rowset / Row).
If this does not work, you may try to build Local xml structures for all your Z fields, and append those xmls to your target, using the Link Editor Append XML function.

SAP-Documentum Interface - getting an error as: Could not create PLM DIR.

Hi all,
We are facing following problem with the interface of SAP-Documentum.
While linking multiple DIRs from Documentum, getting an error as: 'Could not create PLM DIR. (E26324) (Error in version number increment for version 00)'.
Observation:
It's getting failed in 'DIR_GET' every time, so attempts to create new DIR every time.
Note:
Recently upgraded to SAP ECC 6.0 EHP4.

There are couple of things you could do:
1) Try the same values and execute linking manually in sap by calling BAPI_DOCUMENT_CREATE2 in se37.
2) Try pre-pending zeros to the equipment number field using WebAdmin on Documentum side.

Error while installing SAP integration kit 3.1

Hi,
I installed SAP integration kit 3.1 on one server and it is working fine but when i am installing same installable on another server it is giving error as "Installation ended prematuarly because of an error". I dont know how to debug the error. Please help me.

Hi Sonali,
had a similar problem on a Windows/Tomcat system. The installation was crashing before trying to deploy the .jar files. If you are facing the problem in a similar environment please make sure that you have copied the librfc32.dll and the sapjco.jar files in the correct directories. Especially for sapjco.jar doublecheck the path you have copied the file into.

I get the below error in Develope trace and see all the process are in status :"Inprogress" from many days and the task's related to them are inactive.How can i rectify?

Hi,
You get this error when null value is passed when the webservice is triggerred. Check for null values and pass any default value when triggering the webservice. This will solve. At the end of the error trace the exact cause for the exception will be mentioned.
