Automate FTP download from a website

Hello
Does anyone know how to automate a ftp download from a site using a login and password? I am using the SAP business objects XI 3.2 environment.
Any help would be greatly appreciated !

why you dont map this ftp folder to a logical drive, and use this drive into data service?

Then Restart your Mac.

If you mean trial version, then yes, all the commercial Licenses (PE, SE1, SE, EE) you download and install need a license if you start developing applications for commercial purpose. If you only want to try certain features, than you can install said licences for testing purposes on your system. Aside from that you can get the XE (eXpress Edition) which you can use both for testing and production use, if you can cope with its restriction in size (disk 4G, memory 1G) and processing (1 CPU, 1 Server) and its lack of support (patches, etc.) from Oracle Corp.
Please bear in mind that I'm not associated in any way with Oracle Corp. You may want to check on license restrictions with Oracle Corp. or one its partners to be on the safe side.

Nope. The video is restricted. To provide you with any information about how to get around the restriction is copyright infringement.

Cannot sign in to try Adobe Muse downloaded from Adobe website

I cannot sign in to Adobe Muse's trial at all. It seems to authenticate but everytine it returns to the Sign In window with the options to choose from entering my subscription or start a trial. Does anyone know what can I do to try Muse? I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate with Service Pack 1 and Adobe Muse 1.0 LS10 downloaded from Adobe website. I guess that's the final version.

microsoft has removed the jvm 1.1 download from their website.
However, I need to find it to install it on my computer in order to get my signed applets to work.
Does someone have access to the executable?
I should have downloaded it and kept it on my PC.

is there a way to determine what version of the jvm i'm running , be it 1.0 or 1.1 ?
I realize there may be charts associating browser versions with jvm versions but i was wondering if there was a way for me to explicitly test this.

ps I have to use the microsoft jvm for this because of tons of legacy software created for it. I do realize however, this could be better served by the plugin.

Can a pdf be "imprinted" each time it's downloaded from a website?

I have a pdf of a document I created. I am going to allow people to download this pdf from my website after they fill out a form on my website. I would like the pdf to automatically get imprinted with some information - such as their name, date and time it was downloaded to their computer. So if they happen to share it with anyone else - the other person viewing the doc would see the date/time and name of the original person who downloaded it.
Is this possible? if so how?

This can't be done with Adobe Acrobat. You can't use Adobe Acrobat on a server. Look for a server product.

DOCX file allegedly corrupted when I download from my website.

I have a web page where I have been placing Word documents for common access by a group of people. I use FTP to place files there.
Now that we have started using the latest Word (.docx files), we get error messages from Word when we try to open the downloaded files: "The file is corrupt and cannot be opened." But if I answer yes to the next question about whether I want to recover the contents, I see that the file looks fine. This happens when we download with Firefox and Safari (on a Mac) and Internet Explorer (on a PC).
Other information: If I ftp the .docx file back from the website, it's fine.
If I compare the "corrupted" file with the original, it is slightly shorter but there is no difference in printed content.
I apologize if this question does not belong here. I don't know if it's a Word problem, an FTP problem, a browser problem, or what. I thought I was doing things that are not unusual, and I am surprised that this does not seem to be a well-known problem.

Is iPhoto open when you connect the camera and are you seeing the camera in iPhoto?
If not then describe in detail how you're going about trying to import photos from your Samsung camer into your iPhoto Library. From what you've described we have no idea what's going on.
And where is this "import" folder located that you're referring to?

To automatically save photos from a website

I would like to use Apple Script or Automator or something else to automatically copy and save photos from a website on my HD.
There's a site with a great number of photos (museum showing photos, paintings, and other sites, all in JPEG) and I would like to create a program that will first open the thumbnail and once open as a large picture, will copy/save the photo to a specified folder on my HD, then go back to the page with the thumbnails and do the same with the second photo, then the third, and so on. And if possible to the next page after that. So I don't have to spend hours and hours doing this.
After it is downloaded I will look what I want to keep and what I want to delete.
How can I do this ?

If you click on one photo it will show it big in a different page. Notice on the left upper corner the word "portfolio", I would like to open this as well. (Usually it's one page with up to 20 photos although some people have up to 5 pages maximum).
