Automatic Payment Program / Vendor Master Bank Details

Hi All,
in Vendor Master we have bank details section.for the vendor to be picked in APP, There the bank should be maintained, which is maintained in FBZP. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Does the Payment Method have any role to play here?I mean if the payment method is Q(cheques) , is it not needed to maintain  the bank details in Vendor Master?

In FBZP, we maintain the Bank Accounts which we own and in vendor master we enter the Bank Account No.'s held by the vendors with their banks and this has got nothing to do with House banks that we maintain in FBZP. In some of the cases, the bank key may play a common role.. but this also depends upon bank key, its usage, design etc..

In FBZP, go to Pmt methods in a country.. There you will find a section which says, "Required Master Record Specifications". In configuration, you define for a Payment method, what the system should check, so if you have specified against a Pmt Method, that Bank Details>Account Number Required is a mandatory field, then system will check otherwise not. Usually, in case of Checks, we do not tick this as Vendor Bank Account No. has no relevance in case of check payment.

    As  u r use the automatic payment program - and when u use the automatic payment program the check number are assign in automaticly.
    So this are assign when u do the check printing. So once u think the wrong number  are printed , u have to void the check number and write manual check and assign to the line item.
    FCHE - Voided Checks
    FCH5 - Manual Checks : Write manual check

    In the vendor master under general data, option payment transactions the window opens for bank details.
    Here which bank details i have to maintain? is my company bank details or vendor bank details?
    for bank interface we have to maintain every vendor swift code or only our swift code to assign? if so where we have maintain this?
    Kindly give the answers asap please.. this is very urgent.

    In the option for nak details you have to mantain the bank details of vendor not your bank... you rhouse bank will maintained in company code data tab...
    so for the bank interface you have to give vendor house bank swift code... by which bankers will be able to send through Electronic system...

    i have developed a program from extracting vendor master and vendor A/P transaction.. in vendor master i have to get bank info like bank key and bank account number with respect to vendor number(lifnr).
    i have found the field name
    <b>bnka-BANKL    ---          Bank Key
    bsec-BANKN   ---          Bank account number  ...</b>Now the problem is i fighting hard to relate these fields with respect LIFNR..

    hi Chandru,
    you have to go to table LFBK, there you'll find all banks for all vendors. Pls. have a look at the table and come back if yuo have more questions. Pls. note that one vendor can have more bank accounts (but I am sure you have seen that in FK03).

  • Automatic Payment Program - Make House Bank Non- Editable

    Dear All,
    One of our client wants to make sure House Bank is not editable during Automatic Payment run!! i.e., Edit Proposal should nt basically allow the user to change the House Bank.
    Is that Possible. If so.. please advice how to acheive that.

    Dear Diwakar,
    It is certainly possible to create a transaction variant in SHD0 for the transaction FBZ0. Create a scrteen variant like ZFBZ0. I have done and tested the same and its working fine. When you are creating the screen variant, system issues certain warning messages when you are out of the reallocated option. Just ignore them and create the screen variant.
    Once you save the variant, you have to assign it to a package, 6-7 times the system will prompt for this depending on the number of screens in the transaction.
    Assign the screen variant ZFBZ0 to FBZ0 transaction using SHD0.

  • F110 - Automatic payment Program    Vendor /Customer Clearing

    I have entered all the settings related to the Vendor/Customer clearing.
    1.Entering the Vendor and Customer account numbers in the relevant master records.
    2.Activating the clearing with Vendor/Customer in both master records.
    But when F110 is executed,the customer line items are thrown in the exception list.The line items are all due on both the sides.When i reallocate the customer line item,it is giving the option of deducting it from the Vendor line item.
    It has to do autmotically and pay the balance amount to the Vendor,instead of doing it manually.
    Request to contribute your ideas for solving this issue.

                   The error says it consists of the debit balance.But the settings are already made in both the vendor and customer records.But if we click the execption item and reallocate ,it is accepted to deduct it from the vendor line item.

    In XK01, Payment transactions view, I want to enter only Country key and Bank Account no. I don't want to enter Bank Key.
    But system is not allowing  further,  without entering the Bank Key.

    Bank Key is must.
    In this field, you specify the bank key under which bank data from the respective country is stored.
    When you define the country key, you also specify the country-specific definition of the bank key.
    Normally, you manage banks using their bank number. The bank number in the control data for the bank is then displayed twice, that is, as the bank key too

    You can see the bank account before and after values in vendor master display or change.  Call up the vendor master (XK02 or XK03), go to the Vendor: Payment transaction screen, and then select the menu path Environment -> Account Changes -> All Fields.  The bank account changes will be listed under the change screen heading "Vendor Master (Bank Details)".  You may need to click the button "Entries" to see the Vendor Master (Bank Details).  Double-click that line and you will see the before and after values for ever bank number change.
    Example:
    Entry Vendor Master (Bank Details)
    Date                          Chgd By              Co Bank Number    Acct/IBAN
    11/30/09         ??????????       US 043318092      987654321     NEW
    11/30/09         ??????????       US 043318092      123456789     OLD

    In Customer and Vendor Master Bank Details Screen, you need to maintain the respective Bank details of the Customer and Vendor. you need to create Bank key in FI01(Provided by Customer or Vendor) and need to update that Bank key in Customer or Vendor Master.
    Currently we are maintaining Vendor Bank Key in Vendor master data and i have cearted a Query for master data. client will use the Query and check the Bank key (Bank Key Contains Bank Details of the Vendor) makes the payment to the proper Bank account.

  • Automatic Payment Program Master Data Validations

    We´re configuring a new payment method for our company code (payment method T - bank transfer). We are using program RFFOM100 to generate the file that has to be sent to the bank. We had to enhance this program because the format of the file that our bank uses differs from MT100.
    Now, the automatic payment program validates certain data before it allows an automatic payment to be posted, in particular it checks vendor master records to see if it has the necessary information to fill the MT100 format. Our bank's format doesn't require the same information that the MT100 format requires.
    ¿How can I stop the automatic payment program from checking for certain information in the vendor master data?

  • Payment not  clearing for Vendor through Automatic Payment Program

    Hi
    I had setup automatic payment program for my vendor to take $ from my GL account. When I run the payment program, it ran without any error, however, the vendor account was not cleared. The balance in GL and Vendor account remains the original amounts.
    The log shows the following.
    Job started
    Step 001 started ( program SAPF110S, variant &0000000001081, user ID XXXXXXX)
    Log for payment run for payment on 01/12/2008, identification XXXX
    End of log
    Job finished
    Can anyone help ?

    I have not proposed a solution. Now go to F110 and go to the table additional tab and press proposal log button on the lower right hand side. this will give a detailed log. Either analyse this error set right error or send the error log for analysis.
    First run the proposal run and if it is successful, run the payment run and then to print run.
    It should be run in the above sequence.

  • Net off vendor payment in Automatic payment program

    Dear Experts,
    A vendor is also a customer. I have vendor payment of Rs. 1000/- and customer receivable for the same is Rs.800/-. Now the payment to vendor is only Rs.200/-.  I want payment of 200 is made and payment advice and check are generated for Rs.200/- only. Is this possible in Automatic payment program? If "yes" what are the settings to be done to acheive this?

    Hi,
    You would need to maintain vendor code in customer master and vice versa.
    After assigning the customer code in the vendor master, go to "Payment transactions Accounting".
    Here you will find - Clrg with cust.
    Select the check box next to it.
    Then, run APP selecting both vendor and customer accounts.
    System would do the necessary postings for the open items.

  • Automatic Payment Program Proposal split same vendor invoices

    Hello,
    We are facing some peculiar issue in Automatic Payment Program,when we run the automatic payment program payment proposal split the same vendor invoices into so many differnt proposals instead of consolidated proposal.
    Every time it's not happen to same vendor it's dynamically changing to different vendors.
    Eg:We have 10 vendor invoices and when we run the payment run 2 invoices is coming together and 3 invoices coming together not 10 same.
    I have checked the vendor master data and payment program configuration for payment method for company code there is no tick selected for individual payment.
    Could you some body explain me why system is behaving this way.

    Hello Staya
    Just check the line items of your vendor. Some line items may have the payment methods and some line items may not have the payment method. When you do the run in f110 it culbs all the invoices which have the same payment methods together and make the payments. Pls check this and see.
    It could be the reason if you have not ticked the individual payments in vendor master.

    2. Payment Sub account?

    Hi Sagar,
    In F110, the Payment Sub Account is selected for Payment(The Outgoing Bank Account). This is defined in FBZP in the node bank determination> Bank Selection> Bank Accounts.
    The reason why this GL is selected is :-
    1. When you make Payment: -
    Vendor A/C...Dr.
    To Outgoing Bank Account
    2. Bank Reconciliation
    Outgoing Bank Account Dr.
    To main bank Account
    The entry to the main bank Account is posted only when the information that the cheque is encashed by the vendor is sent by Bank in Bank Statement. The Main bank Account is the balance as per Bank Books. So, till the time, we do not receive info from bank that the cheque is encashed, the amount lies in Outgoing bank Account and it is transferred to main bank account only upon final confirmation from bank.

  • Assignment of Banks in F110(Automatic Payment Program)

    Hello All,
    I have a specific requirement while assigning the due items to the House Banks in Automatic Payment Program.
    Requirement is like below.
    There are 2 vendor line items which are due for payment in the APP.
    Vendor     Amount
    1000     u20AC 325
    2000     u20AC 2750
    House Banks and Ranking Order and available amounts are like below.
    Bank  * Ranking Order*        * Amount*
    CITI            1                              3000
    HSBC          2                             4000
    As per the Standard SAP, the allocation happens based on the Vendor no. So it will be like below
    Vendor 1000, amount u20AC 325 has been assigned to House Bank CITI(after this allocation, bal. available is 2675 in CITI)
    For Vendor 2000, amount u20AC2750, the Bank assigned will be HSBC(as there is no sufficient balance in CITI).
    Our requirement is as below(Sort the items based on the amount), so it would be like below
    Vendor 2000, u20AC 2750 should be picked from Bank CITI(Ranking Order 1, after this the available balance is u20AC 250)
    Vendor 1000, u20AC 325 should be picked from Bank HSBC(as there is no sufficient balance available in CITI).
    Is there any standard user-exit or BTE that helps here.
    Any pointers to handle this situation.

    BTE 1810 is not helpful in this case.  This is more towards selecting the partner bank in each individual line items.  Our objective is to sort the line items based on the amount(not on Vendor No. LIFNR).
