Automatic Payment Run - Alternate Bank Account in Vendor Master

Dear Forum,
We have a situation where the users want the alternate bank accounts to be maintained in the Vendor Masters and also to select this alternate bank account while doing the automatic payment run thru F110. While we can maintain more than one bank account in the Vendor Master, but how to select the alternate one during payment run. Your help would be highly appreciated.
Regards

Hi...
As per your issue while runing APP in F110 once complete parameters
And go to Edit praposal and double click vendor and double click on line items than it will displays the one more screen there select Reallocate button there you can enter your respective bank details.
Otherwise there is a Business Transaction Event 1810. You can see the code, looks like you  need to replicate the vendor bank details with link to a company code.
Note:
Assign Multiple Bank Accounts in the Vendor Master
Your SAP system provides the functionality to store and use
information from multiple vendor bank accounts in the Payment
transactions screen of the vendor master general data via
transaction FK03 (Figure 1). Figure 1 reflects the bank type
determination logic I used in the vendor master, using the
three-digit International Organization for Standardization (ISO)
currency code as the Bank type.
Figure 1 Bank details vendor master
You can use the BnkT (bank type) field in the vendor master to
enter text differentiators for identifying the vendoru2019s bank
accounts. If you leave the bank type field blank against a bank
account in the vendor master, then it serves as the default bank
if the bank type information is missing in the vendor invoice.
You may want to leave this field blank if the vendor has only
one bank account and you want the system to select that bank
account for all payments.
If the bank type is blank for multiple bank accounts, then the
system looks for the first bank account with the blank bank type
in the vendor master to use as the default. You are not required
to define the text values u2014 in my example, INR, SGD, and USD u2014
elsewhere in your SAP system. The field allows any value up to a
length of four characters. Iu2019ll demonstrate the use of bank type
with vendor invoice later on.
The system performs a check at the time of invoice creation on
the bank type value used in the vendor invoice against the bank
type values used in the vendor master. If you have not defined
the bank type value in the vendor master prior to using it in
the vendor invoice, the system shows an error message. The
system performs the check to ensure that you are using a bank
type value in the vendor invoice against which it can find a
bank account in the vendor master. Otherwise, the system cannot
determine a bank account for making payments to the vendor.
Prerequisites for Vendor Bank Selection
You need to take care of a few configuration prerequisites before
you can use vendor bank selection in the automated payment
functionality.
1. Check the Bank details check box in the payment method as
defined at the country level in transaction FBZP. This ensures
the selection of the bank details from the vendor master at the
time of the automatic payment run. If you donu2019t do this, the
system does not copy the bank details into the payment IDoc that
it creates as a result of the automated payment run (transaction
F110).
2. Make the Bank Business Partners field optional in the field
status group attached to the vendoru2019s reconciliation G/L account
by selecting the button under Opt. Entry for this field. This
field maps to the Part.bank type (partner bank type) field in
the vendor invoice. If the Bank Business Partners field is not
optional and is in a suppressed state, then you cannot input the
partner bank type field in the vendor invoice.
I hope it will helps you....

  • Automatic Payment - To different bank accounts of Vendor

    Hi Gurus,
Can you please help me in solving the issue of payment to vendor in different bank accounts??
What is the procedure of paying in different bank accounts of vendor and if i am not wrong, we have to use bank transfer to use this functionality???
    Please revert back asap.
    Thank You

    Hi
for that purpose you must use partnerbankkey in teh vendor  master data  view: payment transactions
    see below:
    BR Tarik
    Partner bank type
Key you enter in the line item to specify which business partner's bank the system should use.
    Procedure
In the business partner's master record:
If several bank accounts exist in a customer or vendor master record, you can assign different keys for these accounts.
    In the item:
To use a particular bank of the business partner for the payment of an item, enter the appropriate key in the item. The payment program then pays the item via the business partner's predefined bank.

  • Automatic Payment run without Bank Ranking order

    Dear Experts,
I want to excute the Automatic Payment run without assigning the Bank ranking order in OBVCU, means that when I run the APP it should pay from the House Bank entered in the Vendor master data under the Automatic payment transactions. In my case House Bank is the Bank Account.
    Details of the data in Vendor master are;
    Payment methods: C
    House Bank:   Given
    Details of BVCU are;
    Ranking Order: Not entered
    Bank Accounts: Entered
    Available Amounts: Entered
When I execute the APP, it puts the payment in exception list in the proposal.
Any help will be much appreciated, thanks.

    Hi
As per my understaning there will be no impact . Vendor Master data always have priority.
so maintain ranking order and vendor master also woth aprropriate House Bank and Account ID

  • Muliple Bank Accounts In Vendor Master

    Hi,
I have multiple bank accounts maintained in the vendor master data. However in the F110 automatic payment run the system always takes the first bank account. How can i specify in the F110 to select the second bank account maintained in the vendor master data?

    Hi
Please check your Bank determination. Here you will have defined the ranking order for your banks. This is for configuration for your bank selection(tcode OBVCU). For the selection of banks in the customer/vendor master, check settings in the payment method company code. You have a setting for bank optimization. This settings you need to see. (T code -OBVU)

  • F110 - Automatic Payment Run - Checks Will Not Print!!

    Hi!
My client executed transaction F110 - Automatic Payment Run for a range of vendors (100000 - 599999).  He was able to execute the run but could not print checks and found out that payments weren't assigned check numbers in the system.  However, payments were cleared off the vendors account as if they had been paid.
    Please help!!
    Tks,
    Deki

    Hello
did you assign a variant in the prinout/data medium tab?
you need to assing the proper house bank, account id and check lot in this variant.
If this is correct then you should get the check number assigned to the payment
    document #.
    Points will be appreciated

  • Payment Run - Clearing between Customer and Vendor and Partner Bank Account

Is there a way to have the bank details for the payment to be pulled from the vendor master if an outgoing payment is created or from the customer master if an incoming payment is created? Our requirement is to consider both vendor and customer items during payment processing.  In doing so, if the net of the clearing between the customer and vendor account results in an incoming payment, we want to use the bank details specified from the customer and if the net results in an outgoing payment, we want the bank details on the vendor master to be used.
As such we tick the box on Vendor master to clear with customer and tick the box on Customer master to clear with Vendor.  We have defined 2 payment methods and entered both payment methods on both the customer and Vendor.  We have also entered the different bank accounts on the payment transactions tab of the vendor and customer masters.
It seems regardless of resulting payment method chosen, the bank details are getting pulled from the vendor master.

    Hi,
It is possible without any doing any kind of config or master data changes
While doing F-53, after entering all the required data in open item selection screen, after getting vendor open line items, go to menu item edit->select more.
There enter account type as D and company code (customer account no's comp code) and click on process open items
So you can choose the line items from the other company code's customer also.
    Thanks,
    Srinu

  • Automatic payment run

    Hi
One of the User run the F110 on some date and gave vendor numbers from 1 to 99999 with AP wire payment. Finally it showed 11 posting orders generated and completed. When I see the FBL1N for the vendor # 10346, it is showing under open only not cleared.
Could you please advise me what should I do for this.
    Regards
    Murali

Here are a couple of things that you can check.
    1. Go to FBZP and check if the payment method is in the country of the company code in which you are running the automatic payment run (also check in 'payment methods in country' if you have anything in allowed currencies.  If you have none, all currencies would work.  If you have specified any, it will work only for that currency).
    2. FBZP - Payment methods in company code - Check if the payment method is assigned to the company code and in the same option (payment methods per country) check if foreign business partner allowed checkbox is checked in case your vendor's country is other than the country of your company code.
    3. FBZP - Bank determination - Check if the payment method is having (a) ranking order and CoCd, (b) housebank/payment method (here again the same rule above applies to currency) is assigned to bank account ID and GL account, and (c) available amounts.  Value Date and Expenses/Charges are not important.
    Good luck!

  • Block of payment in automatic payment run

    Dear friends,
Can anyone help me in blocking an open line item in automatic payment run which is not already blocked but it is due for payment and i donot want to make its payment in the proposal.
Also if i want to do partial payment out of the open line item proposed in the automatic payment run, how do i do it?
    Please help.
    Regards
    Dhirav Shah

It is possible to add and delete payment blocks on individual items
if they are included in the payment proposal.  When you have run
the proposal there should be a button 'Edit Proposal' and there should
be an option for payment block.  You can then enter a payment block,
and when you save this the item should then appear in the payment
proposal.  It is not possible to block an entire vendor account, you
can only block individual line items.
Also most important thing in case you cannot edit this field in payment proposal:
Check your customising in transaction OB27, For you to be able to change/edit "payment block" in a payment proposal, you have to set the flag 'Change in Pmnt Prop' in this transaction.
Once an item is included in the proposal, the only ways it can be blocked is by either editing the item WITHIN the proposal, or else by deleting the proposal, adding the payment block via FB02 and then rescheduling the proposal.
    Exact Steps:
    Press the 'Edit Proposal'
Click 'All accounting clerks' on the Accounting Clerk box (This might
    not appear on your system)
Double click on a particular item which you want to change
Then you can add/remove the payment block .
    Hope it helps

  • F110 Automatic Payment Run Is Not Picking Documents.

    Hi,
I have a foreign based vendor for whom i have assigned a payment method recently (previously there was no payment method assigned) and also checked the foreign business partners allowed checkbox in the payment method for company codes screen.
However when i create new vendor invoices for the vendor the documents are not selected for payment in the F110 payment run. The error message shown is "No valid payment method". However when i directly assign a payment method to the vendor document manually, the F110 payment run can select this document.
However the way it shd work is that once the payment method is assiged to the vendor master data then any new documents created for the vendor should be selected for payment in the F110 payment screen.
may i know why this is not working like this?
Edited by: Raja Kumar on Jun 24, 2009 9:32 AM

    Hi Raja,
For the Vendor to whom you are posting invoices, if the vendor balance is in debit, then system cant understand for which document it needs to do payment. It might happened that some credit memos are issued for that vendor. That is the reason in APP, its not picking the documents automatically. If the vendor balance is in credit, then it will pick automatically the house bank. Do one thing, make the balance of vendor as credit (H), then if post any invoice it will automatically pick in APP.
Hope u understood, Let me know if u still need any clarification.

  • F110 Payment Program - Payee Bank Account

    Hi,
When we do payment run, is there any place that stores that payee bank account number. Currently we have populated the vendor bank details but we cannot find the bank account saved in the payment tables - REGUH-ZBNKN? Is there any config/settings missing?
The issue we need to resolve is that the payment run is done, then the vendor bank account is changed. When we print the payment advice, we do not want to retrieve the changed bank account but the one done during payment run. However we don't see any information on the account number being stored.
    Please advise. Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Janet

    Hi
Normally the vendor bank details are stored in REGUH table, if payment run happened after the same were made available in Vendor master. Once the payment run is done, even if the bank details are changed, it will not change the same in REGUH table for that payment run.
Probably you need to select the "Bank details" in the particular payment method/Country in FBZP, even though I believe it will not be the case. Try that.
