Hi. i tried moving the usbappl.sys folder into the desktop and i unistalled itunes and reinstalled it but all this did was make it so my ipod would not connect to the computer, is there anything i can do about this amds problem ? ( Refer back to my first post if you cant remmember called "Itunes/ apple mobile..." )

HELP. I have no sound on iPhone 4S. No problem until today. I searched this site and tried some of these solutions, but they did not work. Is this an Apple problem?

Sounds on my iPhone 4S just mysteriously disappeared today. They were gone when I woke up this morning. It's like somebody sneaked in the middle of the night and stole them. How do I get SOUNDS back on my iPhone. I searched several sites and read solutions from blowing air into connection port to putting phone in freezer. HOW do I get sounds back. I do not use headphones or any attachment for my phone. I do not download movies, music or games. I only use it for phone, texting and surfing the web. Any suggestions for getting sounds back again? THANK YOU.

Then perhaps while you have it off and disconnected from the power, give the output jack a quick shot of electronic cleaner, then run a jack plug in and out a few times and follow up with a short blast of dry air.

My Ipad 2 will not power on. I have tried the two button approach but it did not work. Until last evening, the Ipad was working very well. After it entered the sleep mode, it would not come back on. What can I do?

The first thing to suspect is a completely drained battery. When this happens the iPad shuts down and will not turn on. Even if you charge the iPad it may take more than 30 minutes before it responds. Plug the iPad into the charger that came with it and plug the charger into a known good wall outlet. Do not charge the iPad by connecting it to a computer. Wait 30 minutes. Then reset the iPad. Press and hold both the Home button and the Sleep/Wake button continuously until the Apple logo appears. Then release the button and let the device restart. You will not lose data doing this. It's like a computer reboot.
If the iPad restarts let it continue to charge until the battery is at 100%. If the iPad does not restart consider making an appointment at an Apple Store to have your device examined by a technician. Or contact Apple Support.

I would like to add:
you have incompatible software: start in SafeMode, read Woodmeister and see if it is free of issues.
Akamai is crap software needed or not, Huawei the same.
It is very possible that the keygenerator you used for generating a key for some softwares has infected your mac.
The non-regular software with the false key(s) are not compatible probably or generate malware. Luckily you can not update them automatically because the keygenerator blocked the software for contacting the developer... I propose to consider getting rid of those softwares by really good uninstalling.
You have a beautiful mac, don't degenerate it with crapped software. There are alternatives for expensive software, for example Adobe Photoshop has a free alternative (with a less beautiful interface) in GIMP. And so on.
