B2B OCI - One Step Business Scenario
Hello Experts,
I'm currently implementing an OCI "One Step Business" Scenario where our catalog is included in a customer's SRM system.
I would like to know which XCM and Shop Scenario is the most adapted for this case. Because "OCI" often refers to integrating a customer's catalog in our webshop which is not the case here.
Do you know a link which explains in details the different B2B shop scenarios? (HOM, Business on Behalf, etc.).
Many thanks,
E-Commerce OCI "interface" can work two ways.
1 In the normal E-Commerce scenario, you are a "selling" organization. You are maintaining the product catalog external to the CRM system. Your customers can order products from this external Catalog in to the E-Commerce (ISA) cart and order. CRM E-Commerce application transfers items from this external catalog into its cart using OCI. In this scenario this is behaving as a OCI Client.
2 If you are doing what is called "One-Step-Business" using E-Commerce, then you are still a "selling" office and integrating your E-Commerce system to your customer's SRM (EBP) system. You are maintaining your Product Catalog in the CRM system. Your customer is large, do lot of business with you and they would like "_automatic_" integration of your E-Commerce system's catalog "directly" into their Buying system (SRM). In this scenario also, OCI comes into play and the existing OCI framework will "transform" the normal E-Commerce catalog into "OCI server" mode.
You are asking about scenario (2). In this scenario, the buying customer will start their purchase from their SRM system. When they want to buy a product from you, their SRM configuration will "launch and login into" your E-Commerce application and display the Catalog and Cart. Once they have selected their products from catalog and added to their basket, they can "Transfer" the contents to their SRM Purchase Order.
The transferred "order" will be stored in the CRM as a "Lean quotation". If you "fully" implement the one-step-business, you have to configure for Lean Quotation and as per SAP you may also need SAP-PI solution.
For scenario (2) there isn't any XCM configuration setting to do. However, the buying organization (your customer) will need your input to set their SRM hook to your webshop. If they also want additional attributes to be shared, then your customer will need to do some ABAP programming in the SRM system as well as some Java changes in your CRM Webshop.

How to connect steps in business scenario
Hello,
After creating a project in Solution Manager, creating a business scenario in that project and creating a custom business process in my scenario, Iu2019ve defined the necessary steps that I want in my process. These steps involve 2 different logical components, a component specified for a SAP XI/PI system and a logical component for SAP ECC system.
The business process will involve interaction between the two logical components where Idocs will be exchanged. My first issue is, in transaction SOLAR01 when I click the tab Graphic, Iu2019m able to see the two separate components each with their steps but with no connection or relation between them or with any step order. Where can I define the order and flow for the steps in the business process? After defining the flow, will the connections be presented in the graphic?
One other question, if this business process involve interfaces, should I define this as a business scenario or as an Interface Scenario? What is the main difference between these two objects? Canu2019t I have only business scenarios and define the steps as interfaces?
Thank your for the attention.
Best regards,
Goncalo Mouro VazHello,
please be aware that only business process maintained in the operations part of SAP Solution Manager. i.e. the Solution Directory, are available for Business Process Monitoring. Processes defined within SOLAR01 are in the project part and hence not directly available for monitoring. But those processes can be copied into the Solution Directory.
For BPMon only "Business Scenraios" are of interest. "Interface Scenarios" need not be maintained but can be used for additional documentation purposes.

Solar01 - Business Scenarios/Process/Process steps out of alignment
Hello Folks,
We have a situation where the business process that are now in BPH in Solar01 in Solman should have been business scenario
and same with process step should be process.... Is there any quick way to fix that like going into tables and fixing the
data? If so, Can you please let me know what are the tables in which the Business scenarios, processes and steps or the hierarchy is stored?
Or is there any other way to fix this?
Appreciate your kind response.
Cheers,
VenkyHi Venky,
Unfortunately, there is no way to do it, because the nodes have different types, and it would be like trying to transform one thing in other totally different. You can only recreate the hierarchy manually.

Authorization for specific business scenario or business step in solar01
Dear all,
we have an issue regarding solution manager blueprinting management restricting an access to specific nodes. Our goar is to have several substructures devided by modules like: FI, SD, PS and etc. And each team member according his position in a company should have an access only to his substructure and all the related documentation below that. Saying an access means a change mode not a display access.
Please find the steps have been performed during the configuration of project below:
All the configuration around system landscape has been done properly.
A new project for solution was created in solar_project_admin.
A correct logical componens has been assigned.
All the required users have assigned as a team members of a project.
At the projec. team member tab a box has been checked in for: restrict changes to nodes in project to assigned team members.
A proposed structure of nodes has been created within Tx solar02.
The right team members have assigned to specific node. So that only they suppose to have a change permission within that nodes. All others read only access.
Every user has sap_solar01_all role assigned to him. We have tryed assigning varios roles according to http://help.sap.com/saphelp_sm310/helpdata/en/db/a1033b2a98f46ae10000000a11402f/content.htm
However as a result we are having a change permission allowed for every node within the structure. Like FI responsible member can access to any node from a tree. And he can make a change for SD related documentation.
Please assist regarding this issue.
Kind regards,
P.S.
I found a thread with a similar problem which was solved by activating a checkbox which is already activated in our system and actually doesn't solve that problem for us.
Authorization for specific business scenarios in Solar01/02
Edited by: Artjoms Nikulins on Mar 11, 2010 3:37 PMHi
As far my knowldege goes this is not possible to do within same project or making the same.
You can have project specific access given to member but you cannot go module wise authorization.
Ofcourse there satellite system authorization will be different but not in solman.
In addition check this security guide
https://websmp104.sap-ag.de/~form/sapnet?_SHORTKEY=00200797470000075728&_OBJECT=011000358700007187872005E
Hope it ans ur query.

hi Experts,
Can anyone explain me the difference between A2A and B2B Business Scenario?
Thanx
SushamaHi,
Search is the best option to find the answers.
Refer the below link:

In simple terms:
A2A:
Integration of internal company processes by seamlessly connecting SAP and non-SAP applications.
B2B:
Integration Outside the organisation.
For B2B integration u need to use the third party adapters, for example seeburger As2,X400,OFTPS etc.

Really struggling to figure out how to mass create "folders" in the business blue print structure. These scenarios and process etc are project specifc.
Has anyone done this before? I have been playing with SOLAR_STRUCTURE_CREATE and while i can see the lines being added into table, i can't get anything to appear after wards in SOLAR01.
Any and all help greatly appreciated
SaraHello.

Capture & Post Invoice at the time of Goods Receipt in one Step
Hi,
We are doing the following for Goods Receipt (as decided by other consultant)
1. Goods Receipt (Only Part I) - currently being done by Stores
2. Capture Invoice (J1IEX) - currently being done by Purchase
3. Post Invoice (J1IEX) - currently being done by Finance
We tried to capture & Post Invoice in single step at the time of Goods Receipt. The system is allowing us to do so. Can we do the goods receipt & capture & post invoice at the time of GR only.
What is the difference or benefit in doing GR & capturing invoice separately?

Hi PK,
Standard SAP provides different stages based on business criticality.
Since a warehouse person may not be aware of Excise functionalities he should only be allowed to capture the invoice, however Posting excise credit is a critical business function hence site Excise clerks should be allowed for these rights.
However based on business scenario or size of business the same can be done at one place.
So as your business demands the process can be changed with that. However criticality of the matter & process lies with the business finally.
There are scenarios where actual material reciept is short at times hence credit allowed has to be reduced than original, there may be scenarios where a critical excisable product may have wrong chapter heading maintained at PO level which needs to be changed at credit availment/capture stages to show correct chapter in excise registers...
these all cases support the process to be splitted & responsibilities segrigated....
Hope it assits....

Movement type for goods issue in intercompany STO business scenario
Hi, everyone,
In intercompany STO scenario, firstly we should create a purchase order with a transfer order type just like as UB,
then we use T-code: VL10B to create the delivery note by referencing the purchase order created in first step, in succession, billing, goods reciept.
Actually I have a question about the movement type in goods issue process. The standard is 643 deliveried by SAP.
Can I customize the movement type in intercompany STO business scenariohi,
The following are the scenarios of cross plant goods movements:
Alternate plant procurement of purchased items
Alternate plant production
Plant-to-plant goods transfer of grouped project stock
Stock transfer without reference to a stock transfer order (STO)
1 Step 301
1 Step reversal 302
Stock transfer with reference to an STO in the receiving plant without SD
2 Steps - 351 and 101
2 Steps reversal 102 and 352
Stock transfer with reference to an STO in the receiving plant with SD delivery
2 Steps 641 and 101
2 Steps reversal 102 and 642
1 Step 647
1 Step reversal 648
Movement Type & Description
301 / 302
Goods receipt into production order in another plant. This is a one-step, cross-plant stock transfer. This movement type does not use STOs but behaves like a goods receipt of stock, except that the stock comes from another plant into the current plant. Movement 302 is the reverse of 301.
351 / 352
Stock transfer that is in transit between two plants. This is a twostep, cross-plant stock transfer, because after movement 351, you do not immediately see the stock in the receiving plant. After movement 351, the stock is in transit between the two plants. Only after you have performed a goods receipt (movement 101/102)of this in-transit stock into the receiving plant can you see this stock in the receiving plant. Movement 352 is the reverse of 351.
641 / 642
Stock transfer that is in transit between two plants, with delivery documents (Sales and Distribution). This is a two-step, cross-plant transfer of stock, because after movement 641, you do not immediately see the stock in the receiving plant. After movement 641, the stock is in transit between the two plants. Only after you have performed a goods receipt (movement 101/102 ) of this in-transit stock into the receiving plant can you see this stock in the receiving plant. Movement 642 is the reverse of 641.
647 / 648
Stock transfer to another plant, with delivery documents (Sales and Distribution), with STO. This is a one-step, cross-plant stock transfer because after movement 647, you cannot immediately see the stock in the receiving plant. The stock is never in transit with this movement type, but the stock is transferred with reference to an STO with Sales and Distribution documents. Movement 648 is the reverse of 647.

STO One Step Movement Type Configuration
Currently,we have a scenario where we want to configure a copy of movment 645 (one step) to use. The reason is we have follow on processes that are conditional and the stock transport is a logical move for business reason.
We are able to configure the copy of the original movement. However, what we are not able to do is change the subsequent "101" follow on movement.
We would like to change this. Can someone give some advice...
Steve Selasky
IT Tech LeadHello
Stock tranport order for 1st step Plant to plant 1 step has movement type 301 and there is no need to do GR.
The quantity of the stock transferred is posted immediately from the unrestricted-use stock of the issuing plant to the unrestricted-use stock of the receiving plant
Kindly recheck your scenario or provide more details to check how it can be done.
Awaiting your kind reply.

Variable declaration in BEx - Business scenario's
Hi,
I need some documents about all kind of variable declaration with some example business scenarios in MM, FI-CO modules.
will assign you a reasonable points
Regards,
Pooja.SHi Pooja,
The processing type of a variable may be varies from business requirement.
In general we will use the processing type:
Replacement Path : If you specify a variable as a characteristic value, you do not have to specify a text for the characteristic value right away. Instead, you can fill the text field dynamically and specifically for the characteristic that you use for the variable when you execute the query. To do this, define a text variable with automatic replacement.
Authorisations: If the user belongs to Asia PAciffic region and he must see only details of his region then we can create a variable Region vt Processing type Authorisations so that he vl able to see only that region's data.
SAP EXIT: If you want to define a query that only ever displays the data from the current month, drag the delivered variable current month (technical name 0CMONTH) for the characteristic calendar year/month (technical name 0CMONTH) into the query filter.
Customer Exit: You want to use one characteristic value to calculate a second characteristic value. The InfoProvider only contains the calendar day. However, you now also want to display the cumulated value for the relevant period (beginning with the first day of a quarter) in a query.
For the first day of the quarter, use a variable with customer exit processing. If you now enter the current calendar day (for example, 06/19/2000), a start date of 06/01/2000 appears in the customer exit, and the cumulated value of this period can be displayed.

I hope this helps you. -
Issue in One step workflow activation for Confirmation in SRM 7.0
Dear Experts,
On working to EXtended Classic Scenario, I am configuring one step approval workflow for Confirmation (good receipt) in SRM 7.0
I have standard customisation for Confirmation and activated below object for one-step approval :
BUS2203 SAVED WS10400002 Event Linkage Activated
(one-step approval)
When I am creating a Confirmation with respect to PO in portal, It is showing Approval Pending but It is not going to Manager for approval. While creation of shopping cart (one step approval) is working fine and SC is going to same Manager for approval.
Kindly suggest me, what else required for it.
Thanks in advance,
Pawan KeshwaniDear Expert,

Terms of payment - how to cover my business scenario
Dear experts,
I am dealing with the following business scenario.
A Sales rep proposes to the client a term of payment made up od several partial amount; for example let assume 3 partial amounts.
The Rep proposes to the client a fixed date, representing the date of the first payment that the client has to do and the installments.
For instance, the client's first date of payment is 1st february and then 1st march and 1st april.
1st february is determined on the M/AM billling data set as 30 days after actual billing date
Issue:
If the actual billing date is not equal to the planned billing date, the result is that the client has to pay the first partial amount in a date different fronm the one agreed with the Rep.
Is there any way in SPRO in order to link the installment to other dates rather than to actual billing date? (i.e. planned billing date, custom date field)
Thanks in advanceHi Kalyan,
...how to do automate start for a process in CE7.2...
Create a new message event trigger and a new service interface(WSDL) in the process composer and link the service interface to the event trigger. Now assign the event trigger to the start event of your process as message event.
On deployment, the EVENT TRIGGER you created is exposed as web service (can be verified in wsnavigator). Execute the web service to automatically start the process. You could have a web dynpro application to execute the web service on click of a button.
