Backflush Components With Movement Type 101 When Confirm Production Order

Hi PP Gurus,
I found that we have a backflushing material (procurement type: F) in 'Good Movement' with movement type 101 instead of 261.
The movement type of this material (procurement type: F) in reservation is 261. How did system determine the movement type 101 there?
Is there any user exit used there?
Appreciate any help. Thanks.

Sun Qiang

Pl check in component overview which operation has been assigned to pericular material in Operation tab.
It should be 10.

  • Use a different movement type for Scrap in Production Order Confirmation

Hello gurus. I have the following question.
Is it possible to have the "Scrap" quantity during Production confirmation in a separate movement type?
Currently, when I type in the "Yield" and "Scrap" quantities, both of them are summarized into one backflush line under Movement Type 261. So for example: Yield: 10 pieces and Scrap 5 pieces; I only get one Goods Movement for 15 pieces with MvT 261.
The requirement is that whatever is typed under "Scrap" goes on a different movement type (e.g. 551), because then it will be easy to follow (inventory-wise) how many pieces were used in production and how many were scrapped.
    Is it possible?

    Thanks for your reply Krishna.
Well, I notice that when I type a quantity in the "Scrap" field, the difference with "Yield" is that I simply don't get the produced material on stock (in the case of the last operation with a GR for instance). I just get the backflushed quantity.
But yes, I guess in this transaction, I'm scrapping the produced material, the components are still issued. I was just wondering if perhaps they could be split in 261 for normal backflush and 551 for backflush that didn't generate any finished assembly.
    Thanks for your insight.

  • Inbound process with mov. type 101 in decentralized WM environment

    Hi Gurus,
I am new to the decentrilezed WM environment and i would appreciate if someone could help me.
My process has the following characteristics:
    1. Creation, in the ERP system, of the inbound delivery with reference to the PO. The delevery will be distributed.
    2. The inbound delivery is generated with item category widn, that is not relevant for putaway on the dWM
    3. In VL06I / VL32N post goods receipt. The stock should stay on 902 storage type.
The problem is that, when the delivery is not relevant for putaway, the system cannot find the storage type to post the goods and the tables of the reference movement types are correctly configured. In a not distributed scenário, this should be an easy process...
ERROR: T331 entry for warehouse number 800 and storage type  not found.
If i check the relevancy for putaway this error never happens.
Help please. Thank you in advance.
    Best regards.

    Hi,
If the item category is marked as relevant for putaway, the process of distributing it to the decentralized system automatically sets the item to not relevant for putaway, since putaway takes place in the decentralized system.
So please check the settings in your ERP as well as Decentralized system once again.
    Thanks,

  • Valueation type error when settleing production order

    Hi ,
We are geting error  following error when settleing the production order  " For material xxxxx valuation type 01 does not exist for plant xxxx "  wat could be the problem . Is it due to any split valueation activation problem .

    Hi
Check in MM60, the valuation type maintained for material/ plant combination, if it doesnet exists then create the material type with 01 valuation type in plant.
Also check in OMWC, valuation category and valuation types are correctly assigned to plant.
    Thanks

  • Want to select the Order type automatically when creating production order

    Hi Gurus,
Please help to select the order type automatically while creting the production order..??
Please what configuration settings are avialble to make this happen to me.
    THank you in advance.
    Naveen.

    Naveen,
First priority is the order type defined in the Production schedulling profile(OPKP), assigned to that particular material in workscheduling view. If this is not maintained then,
Second priority is configuration at MRP Group parameters in transaction in OPPR, this MRP Group if assingned to Material master MRP1 view.
Third priority is Configuration at Plant level parameters in transaction OPPQ, this defines the order type when convert planned order to Production/Process order.

I have a custome report for goods receipt (ABAP Query).
In this report, quntity (unrestricted stock) is not updated when I do MIGO (mType 101). The quntity however, is updated in MMBE unrestricted stock columm after MIGO.
Could you please help me how to make quntity updated in the report when I do MIGO with movement type 101?
I thank in advance for all replies.

  • Some key figure are not update for movement type 101

    Dear All,
I have done load for Inventory and now i am finding that for some material the with movement type 101 the key figures are not getting populated, for these materials the values in characteristics is getting populated fine.
I have loaded the data according to stranded procedure in "How to Load...."
I have checked the values of material in R3 and it is there.
    Example of the record::
Material    Plant Movement type  Calender Day    quanity Base Unit
    10101      01       350                     01.02.2006     20             KG
    10101        01       101                     05.07.2006                      KG
    10101         01      101                      10.07.2006                      KG
The Quantity is not appearing in second and third record.

    Hi,
Please check whether you have set  ''Rule groups''  at transfermation level . There you can set the conditions like materials having movement type X can be updated to one Key Figure and material having movement type Y can be updated to another Key figure.
Please check whether you have set this option at transfermation level.
For example, may be in your case materials from different plants are updating to different key figure.
    Thanks,

  • Vendor Evaluation_On time delivry with Mov type 103

    Hi,
We are in process of implementing Vendor Evaluation in our system.
In th eprocess we came to know that for calculating score for sub
criteria "On time delivery" system only considers the Goods Receipt
posted with mov Type 101 and 105.
We have a business scenario in which we first post 103 and ask user
to do the Quality check of the material received.Once the user accept
the material we accept the material by posting goods receipt through
    Mov Type 105.
this acceptance time may differ case by case depending on the
    material.
Now if we go by the standard system settings the Vendor's score will
be affected if the users acceptance and hence the 105 posting is
    delayed.
Kindly guide us how to overcome this issue.
    Rajesh

    Thanks...
If possible can you please explain , how the enhancement MM06L001 will overwrite the score with an example.

  • Transfer posting with Mov Type 311E in MIGO with reference to SC-PO

    Hi,
I am working with MTO scenario.
I want to carry out transfer posting of material with movement type 311E against subcontracting Purchase Order which is sale order specific.
However, system does not allow me to do the same. whenever transfer posting, PO & movement type is selected in transaction MIGO, item details entry tabs are displayed blank.
    Below steps are being follow:
Scenario is MTO ( special stock subcontracting)
    1. Subcontracting PO no. 4500000147 against Sale Order no 61 created.
    2. RM code - 61, available stock 100 TO & batch no.0000000127
    3. Transfer material to vendor for processing through MIGO ( since it is a special sales order stock, transferring happens from SL 0001- Main Stores to SL VLSC -Virtual storage location) using movement type 311 E
    5. Item Data details tabs are blank.---This is the issue / error.
Note: I am restricted to post transfer posting through MIGO-Transfer Posting (will not use MB1B) due to some enhancement of MIGO and interfaces with legacy system.
Please have a look on attachment for SAP screen issue.

  • Goods receipt for return PO - MB01-Movement type 101-161

    Hi guys!
I have one problem with output determination for goods movement (movement type 101 with internal movement type 161).
I used SAP Note 426554 and for as I know the output determination customizing is ok:
output type WE03, collective slip, access sequence 0003 , condition table: 72 Transaction/Printed Version/Print ID, Transaction/event type: WE, movement type: 101 - 161, Print indicator: 1Material document printout – 2 Return delivery, Transmission time-spot of the condition record (1 to 4):1-3, print indicator (RM07M-XNAPR) is set manually and maintained as NDR parameter in user master record, Output type print parameter is Plant/storage location (7), printer determination is customized.
At header level, the document created with MB01 with reference to a return PO, doesn't have the XNAPR parameter (don't know why - it is set when using MB01). It may be this one the reason for not having any output message to print. For movement type 101 (in reference to a PO) all works fine. Just for 101-161 movement type the system doesn't create any output type.
Do you have some suggestions? What should I do..what else soul I check?
    Thanks.

  • MIGO Goods Receipt - error with Movement Types on GR from Inbound Delivery

    Hi,
I am getting an error message when processing a Goods Receipt (MIGO) against an Inbound Delivery with as 2 lines with different movement types, a standard 101 and a 970 (the latter being a user defined movement type for free goods).
The error message I get is 'Movement type 970 is not allowed; only 101 is allowed
    Message no. BORGR622'
This error message only occurs with a Goods Receipt against an Inbound Delivery, we are able to process a similar Goods Receipt using MIGO against a Purchase Order, with two different movement types 101 and 970, without any issues.
It is only a problem with a GR against an Inbound Delivery which is necessary in our MM solution.
As anybody and ideas how to resolve this?  I cannot see anything obvious in config, and have not spotted any SAP OSS notes either.
I should mention that we can process a single line Inbound Delivery and Goods Receipt for the Movement Type 970 also!

Thanks for the reply.  The Price Control Indicator is 'S'.
The solution was set up at my company before I joined, but the different movement type is to enable the free goods stock to make a Finance posting to a Bonus Stock GL Account.  Bonus stock sale update the same account.
As I mention the '970' movement type worked fine with Goods Receipt against a Purchase Order (it was coded into to the user exit).
The MM procedures were changed to use the Inbound Delivery matched to the PO, this had a result that when the Goods receipt was posted in MIGO it posted as 101 movement, as the PO number was not being recognised.
By making a further change to the user exit we able to suggest the '970' movement type, but now get the BORGR622 error I refer to.
'511' is not possible against an inbound delivery either.

  • Linking between movement type 101 & 321

    Hi All,
We prepare the GRN against the Purchase order vide movement type 101, this material is lying for Quality inspection in same plant and storage location
After Quality Inspection we are transferring this material from Quality Inspection to unrestricted stock in same plant and storage location with movement type 321
Now we want to link Purchase Order with 101 (which are there) and also with movement type 321 can any body tell us how to go for this. Here we are interesting in linking Purchase Order – GRN (101) – Goods Transfer (321).
    Thanks
    Vinayak Deosthali.

    Hello Vinayak,
As I understand when u do the receipt against PO using 101 mvt, it will ask for a batch number and will receive the goods in quality inspection. After u use 321 to move the godds from QI to unrestricted u would give the batch number again so ineffect for linking PO->101->321 u need to use batch number to link. Get the PO numbers from EKBE table and get related 101 from the same. use MSEG table to connect using PO material and batch number.

  • Movement types 101,131,132

what is the difference between movement types 101,131,132. All are goods receipt so when to use which one?

    Sandip,

O Goods receipt for purchase order to stock of material provided to vendor
E GR for purchase order or order to sales order stock
Q GR for purchase order or order to project stock.

Is there any other differrence .... I guess that in REM we use mainly 131...
