Backgrounds That Conform To The Size Of The Browser

Hi Everyone,
With iWeb '09...
How can I make the browser background conform (or move with the size of a viewers browser?
Here is an example of what I'm talking about.

Notice how both sides (in particular - the right side) moves with the resizing of the browser.

That's normal when the width of the page is greater than your browser's window size. You can make the page content width as large as you'd like and when the page is opened the browser will start at the left and include as much as it can to the right. You'll need to widen your browser's window, i.e. drag to the right to get more of the page in.
To widen the page use the Inspector/Page/Layout pane.

However, be aware than most of the themes in iWeb don't allow increasing the page's width because they use fixed width graphic files for the design. Those themes that can be most customized are White, Black, Modern Frame and Formal (except for the blog layout).
Apple suggests web page widths of around 980 to 1024 pixels as that is a good size for mobile devices.

I have used Visio for 20 years, currently using 2000, but whole of a suddenly the background, that used to be a bluage green became white, the same as the page so now I can't see the size of the page. It does not matter if I change the page background
color under Tools-"Options". Nothing changes. However, if I change the Page color the whole workspace become that color. From that it's like the whole workspace become the page no matter what size the page is set to. The only way I can see the "page"
is to select View-Page Break. Then it display the page size correct. I even uninstalled the program fully and reinstalled it with the same result. I'm at a loss.

Does any update install on your PC before background disappear? If yes, we can uninstall it temporarily. Let’s open Visio in safe mode to disable some add-ins and macros.
Since Visio 2000 SR1 is end of life, if you need further support, I recommend you can upgrade a newer version of Visio.

Events are organised strictly on date and time, as read by iPhoto from the Exif data in the Photo. You cannot manually sort.
Create Albums. You can do much more organising with Albums, use Photos from different events, place them as you will. Best of all, Albums use no disk space at all. They simply reference the file on the Hard Disk. So a pic can be 1, 10 or 100 Albums with no wasted disk space whatever.

DeserializeJSON - is there a limit on the size of the JSON data that can be converted?

I have some valid JSON data that's being converted successfully by DeserializeJSON... until it gets to a certain size, or that's certainly what appears to be happening. The breaking point seems to be somewhere in the neighborhood of 35,000 characters... about 35KB. When the conversion fails, it fails with a "JSON parsing failure: Unexpected end of JSON string" message. And when the conversion fails, the JSON data is deemed to be valid per tools like this one: http://www.freeformatter.com/json-validator.html.
So, is there a limit on the size of the JSON data that can be converted by DeserializeJSON?

The JSON is being submitted in its entirety, confirmed by Fiddler. And it's actually being successfully saved to a SQL Server nvarchar(MAX) field too. I can validate that saved JSON.
I'm actually grabbing the JSON to convert directly from the SQL Server, and your comments / thoughts led me down the path of resolution.
Turns out that the JSON was being truncated prior to getting to the DeserializeJSON command, but it was the cfquery pull that was doing the truncating. The fix was to enable "long text retrieval (CLOB)" for this datasource in CF Admin. I'd never run into that before or even knew that this setting existed.

I can not get a webpage to stay the size of the browser with out zooming in every time i go to a web page. With out zooming it just stay small with white on both sides. Thanks for the help. I installed CC and it fixed everything but Photoshop. I guess I will have to use my old laptop for images until Adobe fixes the problem. Do you know of a place where we can send issues like these to Adobe?

In the Folders Tab, right click on folder then click Reveal in Explorer. This will open an Explorer window with the folder selected. In Explorer you can right click > Properties or navigate to whatever you want to measure.

It sounds like you may be running Acrobat 11.0.07, is that correct? If so, please choose Edit > Preferences > General. In the entry Scale for Screen Resolution, choose 100%. Save your changes, and restart Acrobat. Did that do the trick?

It used to be if you added the contacts photo on the iOS device they would have a large picture and if you added it from Address Book on OS X they would have a smaller thumbnail. However, since iOS5, all I've been able to get is the larger photo. Try adding the picture directly in the contacts app on your device. That should make it larger.

IDCS6 [Mac] - script to draw a rectangle that is the size of the bleed box

Hello there. I'm sure this is very easy to do but what i'm not sure of is how to get the size of the rectangle to be the size of the bleed box (from the top left to the bottom right) given that this script would be run on dozens of files that are all different page sizes.
Is there also any way to get the script (as the last thing it does) to launch the place command?

It works well, with two exceptions:
the bleed in this script will always be 5. depending on the units used, this could be points or millimetres...; and
the rectangle that is made is always the same fill and stroke as the fill/stroke in the palette at the time of running the script. is there any way of making the fill/stroke become none (apart from setting the fill/stroke to none prior to running the script)?

At one point, a long time ago I was able to tweak a value that would increase the size of the X in the tabs. That helps since my hands tremble a lot

2. I have an imac with 8gb ram, and assigned 6gb ram to photoshop use. But when I worked on a 24mb tif file, photoshop was lagging. And at the bottom left panel of Photoshop's workspace, the doc size is something/1gb. The tif file is only 24mb, why is it slow in photoshop? I have a lot of ram.

So I understood why the photoshop doc size is bigger when working in photoshop.
Regarding to your questions:
1. How full is your Mac's hard drive?
    Not even 30% full, I even have a 1TB backup hard drive connected.
2. How many applications do you run simultaneously in the background while working in another application?
    I usually only have photoshop or illustrator opened. Sometimes I ran 3-4 tif files at the same time, but when a big file (ex. 24mb tif) gets very slow, I closed all other files and programs, and "purged all" in photoshop, yet that 24mb tif file was still slow.
   I checked photoshop's ram and cpu usage in the activity monitor. Rarely photoshop's cpu usage would hit 100. But when I worked with the 24mb tif file, it would used all the ram that I've allocated to photoshop.
But the myth is, my coworker who worked with the same file in CS4 with only 4gb ram in their imac don't have photoshop slowed down, when I have double the ram and CS6.
3. What year, screen size, CPU speed of your Mac?
   I have 27" imac,
   • 2.9GHz 2.9GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 processor (Turbo Boost up to 3.6GHz) with 6MB L3 cache,
   • 1TB (7200-rpm) hard drive
