BAD CLASS FILE ERROR WHEN TRYING TO CALL JAVA CLASS IN WEB-INF DIRECTORY
I AM NEW TO THIS FORUM. PLEASE HELP ME IDENTIFY/RESOLVE THIS ERROR - bad class file: /java/tomcat/webapps/ChoiceTel/WEB-INF/classes/XYZ/SMUA.class. OTHER JSP SCRIPTS THAT CALL JAVA CLASSES DO WORK WELL.
THE FUNNY THING ABOUT COMPILIING THIS JAVA CLASS WAS - I HAD TO A jar xvf OF activation.jar and mail.jar IN THE XYZ DIRECTORY BEFORE SUCCESSFULLY COMPILING SMUA.
THE CALL BEING MADE FROM THE JSP SCRIPT IS AS FOLLOWS:

Error when trying to call someone
Hi all
My 4-month old phone is having issues when i'm trying to make a call.
I've reset everything and after two weeks i'm still having the same error when trying to make a call.
I'm getting a pop-up saying that there's an app error something something...
This is really frustrating cause at times I can't even make a single call.

Missing File error when trying to install HP 5610xi using Windows 7 64 bit download
I have tried several times to download and install the software and drivers for my old 5610xi on my new computer running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS. I keep getting a "missing file" message when trying to run the download, and it will not install. Can someone please help!?!?
Hi computeir, sorry to hear that you are having issues with getting your printer installed on to your computer. If you are connecting the printer to the computer with a usb cable, please remove it from the printer and the computer and set it aside. Please click the link I have provided for the HP Printer Install Wizard for Windows.

I keep getting an error when trying to install Java for OS X 2014-001
I was trying to download this because I was getting errors when trying open some applications saying you need Java 6 and it directed me to the download link for this but it always gets and error when installing.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
Select
/var/log ▹ install.log
from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar at the top of the screen. The contents of the log will appear on the right. Each log message begins with a timestamp. Select the messages from the time of the last installation or update attempt. If you're not sure when that was, click the Clear Display button in the toolbar of the Console window and then try the installation again. Select the new messages that appear. Copy the messages to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).
☞ If there are runs of repeated messages, post only one example of each. Don’t post many repetitions of the same message.
☞ When posting a log extract, be selective. Don't post more than is requested.
☞ Please don't indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
☞ Please don't post screenshots of log messages—post the text.

Error while trying to call Java Class from Peoplecode

I am trying to read a property file from peoplecode using standard java classes. However, I am getting this error more than one overload matches
Below are 2 ways in which I tried doing this and both ended up in the same error
Code 1>_

The above error is thrown on the 3rd line when I try to invoke the FileInputStream or FileReader class/constructor.
In fact both the above code pieces work absolutely fine when I write them into a java class and run them on a java runtime. Any inputs would be of great help !! Alternatively, I will have to use peoplecode file.readline(), etc to read the property file. Since java has this smarter way to reading a property file, I thought of giving it a try ..

Application Engine program DSS_TEST_IO ended normallyDoes your app server have permissions to modify the files you are trying to modify? Also, how did you verify the date/time of the files? Were you using Windows Explorer? Did you refresh the view first? Or did you use the console dir/ls? I seriously doubt there is a security manager in place that would restrict what you can do with Java. Security managers are common in applets/browser context, but not in apps. -
Suffering an complie error when trying to compile java class in EBS11i

When I trying to compile java classes with which imported the HttpServletResponse class, will get the follow error message:

cannot resolve symbol
symbol : class HttpServletResponse
It seems the javax.servlet package is not included in the classpath. But I checked the $CLASSPATH, it seems no problem.

Add the following jar files to the AF_CLASSPATH line -
Full path of /...../iAS/Apache/Jsdk/lib/jsdk.jar
Full path of /...../iAS/Apache/Jserv/libexec/ApacheJServ.jar
2. Bounce the concurrent manager in order to have the changes take effect. -
File error when trying install Des9i by running 90201iDS_Win32.exe
Your instructions to install Des9i are:
1. Download the software (listed above) into a temporary directory. - DID THAT
2. Run file10 (batch4.bat) - DID THAT
3. Run 90201iDS_Win32.exe - I GET AN ERROR WHEN I TRY TO RUN THIS ONE. When I try to run it as a START/RUN with Batch4 running it tells me that the 90201iDS file is open by another application. I closed Batch4 and try running it again. Then it says it's not a valid win32 application. Then I tried to run it in Oracle by running step 4 (below) and selecting the 90201 file to install it. It tells me that the file is a directory or it is corrupt and to specify a valid filename. I re-downloaded it twice and tried all I know. Now what?
I did create a second ORACLE HOME for the Designer that points to the same folder where I have the 10 downloaded files.
4. Run setup.exe (located in the \disk1 directory). - NEVER GOT THIS FAR.I solved my own problem... it was this: right after you run the batch4 you need to wait a while for all the file1...n.brk files to run. I was thinking it was done after file1.brk.

Error when trying to isert Image in BO WebI report

I am trying to insert company logo in WebI report. I saved the image in BusinessObjects Enterprise 11.5\Images folder in C drive. Path is
C:\Program Files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 11.5\Images
There are two images here,
one -BO logo skin_bo.gif
and the other my company logo logo.gif
This is the path i gave in BO Webi
In the report-> free cell-> custom->boimg:
skin_bo.gif
When i try to insert BO delivered logo, it is fine, the image is inserted into the report. But, when i try to insert company logo, I see blank, image is not displayed.
Please let me know what the error is and solution.

"Could not find the application that created this file" error when trying to combine files
I am working with a user that is trying to combine a pdf & word doc (docx). When they try to combine the files she gets the error: "Could not find the application that created this file" & "Please select a file created by an application that resides on your computer". The computer is running windows XP, with office 2010 SP1, & Adobe Acrobat Pro X.
Per previous suggestions, I have already checked to see if Adobe PDFMaker is enabled as a Word plugin, and it is.
Recentley the user was running Acrobat 6, and this error did not occur. It is only after upgrading to Acrobat X that this is happening. Any help with this issue would be appreciated.This can also be caused if the files are in a folder deep in the file system. For example C:/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/yyyyyyyyyyyyyyy/zzzzzzz/aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa/bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb /cccccccccccccccccccc/dddddddddddddddd/eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee/ffffffff/ggggggg/hhhhhhhhhhhhh hhhhhhhhhh/myPDF.pdf
At some point Adobe PDFMaker cannot handle the path length (also, Windows can't handle the path length either eventually)
Solution: move the files to a shorther path (perhaps the desktop) and try from there.
I am filing a bug report with Adobe. A descriptive exception message should be thrown instead of "could not file the app.." -

Receive "Damaged File" error when trying to open a fillable form from website
When our users try to access a fillable form they now receive the attached error message. The file is not damaged however. I can send the form viai e mail and it works fine. Any ideas?

The PDF is a fillable form that was created in Adobe LiveCycle. It is a rather large file (1800 kb). It lives (was uploaded) on our internal website, which is WordPress. It is accessed as a link. It worked just fine until yesterday. We did come up with a temporary solution, which is to have the form reside on a public drive, and then I linked to it from our web page. The form will open in IE, but not through Chrome or FireFox. Chrome asks for plug in updates. Our company does support Chrome and IE, but the majority of our users use IE. -
